"School is almost done... It's almost summer,"I said with a smile, brushing my nose against hers.
I smiled and nodded. "I know. I'm so excited." I whispered, pecking her lips sweetly.
I chuckled softly,"Are you gong to come home after you graduate?"
I nodded. "Just for a little bit.." I replied. "Then I'll start looking for our dream home." I said, pecking her forehead.
I laughed softly,"You think?"
I smiled. "I know." I looked into her eyes. "If that's what you want darling."
"Maybe we should start with an apartment,"I said with a chuckle, nodding,"A house is a bit prestigious."
(I'm gonna go to sleep. Night!)
I frowned. "I don't like apartments though.. They're too small.. And I hate how close the neighbors are."
((Night!))
"Well, what about like a townhouse? Not an apartment but not a house?"I asked as I kissed her shoulder, curious. I didn't want to rush into anything...
I smiled. "We'll see." I answered softly. I laid back on my bed and sighed, looking up at the ceiling. I can't wait for school to be over..
"Plus, we wouldn't be able to afford a house,"I said quietly, looking over at her,"Unless you want your parents help."
"I have savings." I answered, looking up at her. "I'm fine."
"But you don't want to spend that kind of stuff on rent.."I said, shaking my head slowly.
I sighed. "Listen, I have more money than I need. What a better way than to spend it this way?"
"Okay,"I said softly, feeling shut down. There would always be that side of her that had more money than she needed and had no problem spending it.
I sighed and wrapped my arms around her for a minute, just being quiet. "I love you." I whispered.
"Love you, too,"I said softly, closing my eyes and laying still. I had to let her be her...
I sighed and turned on my side, closing my eyes. I can't help that I was raised this way.. And I'm not going to change.. Most girls would be glad that I have money.. But she's so proud..
I sighed and laid on my stomach, my head turned away from her. I felt the sleep coming to me as my thoughts wandered. If we had them, I wouldn't want them to grow up to be like her...
The next morning I woke up, still feeling hurt. Why is this such a big deal? I sighed and went and took a shower, just standing there, letting the hot water hit my back.
After awhile I went into the bathroom and sat on the toilet seat. I didn't know what to say, but I wasn't going to leave.
I heard her come in, but I just continued my shower. Once done, I got out and dried myself off and put some clothes on.
She walked right past me... I sighed and got up, going back to my room in the house outside, laying in my bed.
I took some time for myself, then I went and knocked on her door, before walking in. "I should probably go.." I said softly.
"Okay... See you next weekend?"I asked, raising an eyebrow at her, sitting up and watching her.
I nodded. "Yeah." I replied. I leaned down and kissed her softly before going back to the door.
Her mother was hosting another dinner party and I was preparing for the evening, serving and cooking. Two young men entered, looking or glasses and I directed them to the cupboard before turning back to the food. Suddenly I felt a hand over my mouth and I tried to fight back. I was no match for the two of them and before I knew it they were done... I was left half naked, bloody and beaten in the back of the pantry. I remember being put into an ambulance.. But that was all.
I was doing homework when my mom called me. "Hello?" "Jez.." My mom said between sobs. "What is it? Is it dad?" I asked, standing up quickly. "No.. It's Amy.. She's at the hospital.." I dropped my phone and ran to my car, speeding to the hospital. Once there, I ran to the desk, asking for Amy. After they told me which room, I bolted to her room.
I was with the police, but I could see Jez in the hallway. I wasn't doing well... I wasn't doing well at all. I kept slipping in and out of conciousness, and although no one said it yet, I knew my chances weren't high. I could hear my heartbeat and I took a deep breath before I didn't hear anything. I was flatlining, again.
