Getting to see a friend who lives out of town when he drives through on business is pretty awesome. Especially when you didn't expect to see them for a long while.
I love that! I also love being the friend that shows up out of the blue! xD I tend to be pretty elusive so when I actually do make it by someones house back home it's a shocker. x-x;
Awesome thing: that perfectly ripe, juicy bit of fruit. So often you settle for underripe/overripe/never ripe fruit because we demand to have apples/oranges/peaches in our grocery store year round. But you know, when you actually find that perfect piece of fruit it is utterly delightful.
Cornbread. Cornbread rocks. Cold cornbread, fresh hot cornbread, cornbread with butter, cornbread with honey. It is just awesome.
When someone talks about cornbread, and then you realize how badly you want to eat some, and then realize the ingredients to make it are actually in the house! So you make it in pure tummy satisfying joy~!
See? Cornbread is full of awesome.

Well, it's a particular taste, so not everyone likes and or can handle it. I live near a candy store (I had no idea up until now) and I popped inside the other day, and found this candy that came in a little atomic waste container, it's called TOXIC WASTE and it's little hard candies that are incredibly sour. Now looking even closer, these guys make gum too. All of it was wicked cheap and when I went home to try it, everything stayed sour the entire time I ate it. It wasn't like most sour candies where they are only sour for a few seconds and then BOOM, regular candy.
I'd also like to mention I discovered these little... toasted coconut candies. Which I am SO MAD I DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED UNTIL NOW! I feel like I've wasted so many years of my life not knowing about this candy. D:

Being able to help a relative with like... emotional and personal problems. It feels good to actually be there for someone, especially family since I've had issues with accidentally drifting away because of the distance.

Getting in like... super charged roleplaying mode. I don't know what it is, but recently I've been a non stop force! I made like three one on ones in the past few days and they are all going great. I've been keeping up with my posts, I'm happy with my games. I'm just in the zone! :D
Awesome: My super comfy, yet ridiculously neon yellow and sky blue shoes. Nothing says, "I don't care what you think about me" like neon yellow shoes.
Awesome; being home alone all day for the first time in ages, and thus getting to play your music as loud as possible :)

Being so excited to see a good friend after months of separation that you invite them to sleep over, but you never sleep. Instead you just catch up, talk about all the things we need to fan over, and bond even more than we already have! Gah, he is a great dude. He is my bro for life. :D

When everything goes right at work. When you propose things and they get approved and you are completely like a rock star all day.
A great nights sleep. I may have already said this one before, but really it makes such a big difference with your day. I have an issue with never getting a rock-like sleep because I talk a lot in my sleep (I'm crazy? >_> ) But last night it was like someone smashed me over the head with a bottle of vodka. I woke up this morning and felt like I may have slept for a week.
So now, I'm refreshed and full of energy. And I can already tell I'm way less irritable this morning ( even without coffee ).
Today I won a Kuerig Elite K-Cup coffee maker. Work is participating in this contest because of the company that provides our coffee. I can enter to win something every day, but today, on the first day I totally won something awesome. I can honestly say that I am a winner.
AHHH YOU WON THAT ONE! THAT IS LIKE... THE BEST ONE THEY HAVE. D:

Winning that made my week. Seriously. Of course, it won't get here for 8 weeks, but I am nothing if not patient.
Feel free to envy me now. (Truthfully, you can find them for like $80 if you find a good sale, but I am a cheap, cheap person and would never buy one for myself when I have a $4 french press that more or less does the same thing.)
