I looked up at him and tried to focus on his face, but it was hard. I started to get lightheaded and my vision started to become a little blurry. The pain in my wrist was starting to become unbearable. And my back is killing me... I whimpered softly and turned my head away from him, closing my eyes.
I had just the thing for her. "Honey, take this." I said, and I got up and got her some water. And I headed her a pill. "This will help you with your pain.." I said. It would have her fall asleep for about three hours, and it sped up the healing process, and it numbed her pain. I helped her take it, and I gently picked her up, not wanting to hurt her. I carried her to my apartment, and too my bedroom. I had to watch her.. This was my fault.. When she was asleep, it made me relax a little. The pill has helped her, and she was feeling no pain. I laid beside her and watched her as she slept.
The next morning I woke up, and squirmed slightly, a little sore. I sighed and sat up, looking down at my wrist. I slowly unwrapped it and stared at the large bite mark. I ran my fingertips over it and flinched slightly.
I opened my eyes and watched her. "Hey.. You feeling okay?" I asked her, and I saw as she touched her wrist. "That will be sore for a little.. Just keep it clean and change the bandage twice a day.." I said. There was a lot of unanswered questions. I knew she wanted answeres to..
I looked up at him, my eyes wide. I stood up and walked to the other side of the room, turning and looking at him. "What happened?" I whispered.
"You were attacked by a vampire.. I came just in time and saved you.." I said and I stood, and I walked over to her. "You should stay sitting down.. You still pretty beat up.." I said, and I touched her cheek.. I was so worried about her..
I sighed and stepped away from him, walking back to the bed and laying down, staring up at the ceiling. A vampire? That's crazy..
"And.. I'm a vampire slayer.. That's how I was able to kill him.." I said, and I walked over to her. "I've been hunting for 6 years.. I never told you because I wanted you to be safe.. Whenever I'd come back with bruises, that's when I would have hunted a vampire.. "
"Well I'm not so safe now am I?" I asked sarcastically. I looked over at him and glared at him. "You should have told me Jake. What if you would have died one day and I'll never have any idea how it happened?"
"You are safe.. Because I'm here with you, that vampire knew where you were because he must have survived last I staked him.. No others know where you are.. And I have not died, I was born into this and I went threw training." I said. I knew she would be pissed at me..
I sighed. "Just because you went through training that doesn't guarantee you safety!!!" I snapped. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, shaking my head, trying to control my temper. I've always had a quick temper.
"I'm very careful with what I do.. Because I won't leave you." I said. "I love you.. Please don't be mad at me.." I said and I took her hand. "Just let me be with you right now.. I'm worried.."
I sighed and I opened my eyes to look up at him. "Lay down with me please.." I whispered. I pulled him down next to me and I snuggled close to him, taking a deep, shaky breath.
"Of course.." I said and I laid beside her, pulling her close. I was gentle with her. I knew she was still sore. But not as bad as yesterday. "How do you feel?.. " I asked her. the worry had a good grip on me right now. I couldn't lose October..
"I'm fine." I whispered. I nuzzled my face into his neck and kissed it gently. "It's crazy... Being best friends in kindergarten.. Then being with you now.. And you being a vampire hunter... It doesn't seem real..." I whispered.
I nodded.. It was a lot for her, and I knew that.. "You'll get used to it.." I said softly. I kissed her forehead gently. "Today I want you to stay in bed, and drink lots of water.. I'll take care of you." I said softly.
I sighed softly. "You're acting like I'm dying... I'm fine Jake. I promise. I'm just a little sore." I smiled gently and kissed his cheek gently.
She was right.. Maybe I should calm it down.. "Im sorry.. " I said and I kissed her back. She could have died.. So of course u was going to be a little worried.
"Don't apologize... Thank you for saving me..." I whispered, looking up into his eyes. I reached my hand up and stroked his soft hair gently.

My girl
((Let's just say my guy's name is Ash and he has ashy blonde hair, pale skin, and green eyes.))
October: everything was soon back to normal. My wounds have healed, but the scar on my wrist will remain there forever. I stood in my kitchen, cooking chocolate chip pancakes and bacon.
Ash: My back is killing me. I guess that's what you can expect when you sleep in the streets all the time. I'm always on the run, hiding from those damn vampire hunters. They think they're doing the world a favor when really they're doing the same thing we vampires do. Kill.
Lia-
I had gotten more information about my brother. We were seperated at birth. Apparently we were identical twins. Later on, I would go to his apartment, and see if it was really him. I was kinda lost. Behind buildings in an ally. I tripped and I fell, I scraped my knee pretty good. It was bleeding. I groaned and stood up..
Jake-
I stood up and I rubbed my eyes. I headed to the kitchen and I hugged her from behind. "Smells great.." I said and I kissed the back of her neck gently.
October: I smiled and turned to kiss his lips softly. "Thanks." I murmured softly. I fixed him a plate and handed it to him. I fixed me one as well and sat down across from him. "Have any plans for today?" I asked.
Ash: a strong smell of blood hit me. I breathed in deeply and slowly stood up, dusting myself off. I usually don't hunt humans, but it's been a few days since I've last hunted and I'm so thirsty. I followed the scent to an alley and I smirked when I saw a pretty girl. I was in front of her in seconds. "Hello there..." I purred. I grabbed her hands and pinned her to a dumpster easily. "You smell.. Really good.."
Jake-
"Thanks." I said, tasking my plate and setting it on the bar. I sat down and started to eat. I shook my head. "Nothing really, I got a phone call the other day. Apparently I have a twin sister. I never knew that.. I guess I do have family. She lives in the area and I think she was going to stop by sometime today. Lia, her name is. She's very nice." I said.
Lia-
"Uh.. Hi.." I said, and I was a little shocked about how quickly he walked to me. I yelled out when I felt myself get pinned to a nearby dumpster. He had a hungry look in his eyes.. "No.. Please.. Let me go... Don't hurt me.." I said and I looked away. I tried to get out of his grip. He was inhumanly strong...
October: I smiled warmly at him and took a bite of my pancakes. "That's really amazing. I'm happy for you." I said softly. I sipped my orange juice and looked out the window. I saw 2 people struggling in an alley. "Babe.."
I pointed.
Ash: I sighed and shook my head. "I don't want to hurt you. But I really have no choice. It will only hurt for a second, then it will all be over. I promise." I leaned in and got ready to bite her neck..
Jake-
I looked out the window also.. Was that.. Lia? She was pinned to the garbage, and.. That was a vampire! I quickly grabbed my stake and I bolted out. I ran down the stairs, almost falling. "Hey! Leave her alone!" I yelled and I pushed him off her. Losing the grip on my stake. "Get out of here! that's my sister!" I said and I stood guard in front of her.
Lia-
I felt the man get pushed off of me.. Who was.. Jake? Was that my brother? Where did he come from? I looked at the guy, he had fangs.. Oh god.. He's a vampire? What the hell? And Jake had a.. Stake? A hunter? My head hurt now..
October: I ran out after him, and I grabbed his stake after he dropped it. I don't know how to kill a vampire, but I'll try if it comes down to it.
Jake: I glanced at the boy, then the girl I had attacked, then the new girl who looked vaguely familiar. I rose my hands up in surrender. I began to back away slowly. I looked straight into the girl's eyes. "I'm sorry."
Jake-
The look in the guys eyes was very apologetic, and I waited until he started to back away. I walked over to Lia. "Hey? You okay?" I asked her, my sister.. I had a sister! And she did look a little like me, same hair color, and same eyes. She was watching the vampire still.. Yeah, I bet she was a little confused.. "Hey, come inside. We are just eating, we have enough, join us."
Lia-
I watched as he walked away.. And I looked into his eyes.. He looked familiar. Maybe I've seen him around. "Oh.. Yeah I'm fine. Thanks. You must be Jake.." I said. This was an odd way of meeting your brother. "I guess I could. Thank you." I said, following him to the apartment. I smiled at the girl who was with him. Must be his girlfriend. She was pretty.
October: I smiled at her and fixed her a plate. "I'm October. It's really nice to meet you Lia." I smiled sweetly and sat back down, continuing my food and looking out the window. That vampire... I've seen him somewhere before..
Ash: I was starting to feel very weak with hunger. I sighed and hunted the sick and dying. The suffering. They were going to die anyways, I'm just putting them out of their misery.
Lia -
"Thanks. Nice to meet you.." I said, smiling. I glanced at her. "Yeah.. I've seen him around town before." I said, and I started to eat. This was actually really good. Especially loved the bacon.
Jake-
"Like where?" I asked October. Maybe he was a newborn. A new vampire, I've never heard of him being around here, I'm just glad I caught him today before he got my sister..
October: I bit my bottom lip and glanced at him. "Um.... I don't know...... Wait... I've seen him on the streets... And I tried to give him some money but he rejected it.."
Ash:I went out to the woods and I climbed a tree, resting there. I have an apartment, but I can't go back since I'm being hunted by vampire hunters.. Humans.. How ironic.
Lia-
I was soon finished, and I set my plate in the sink. "That's odd." I said, and I slowly sat at the bar again. This was a nice apartment. "We should meet up later, maybe go out for dinner or something. I have guests over in a few minutes." I said, "thank you so much for saving me, and the breakfast. I'll text you." I said. And I hugged Jake, and October, and left. I was kinda new to the area. I wondered where the vampire was.. I walked down the ally slowly, wondering if he was still here somewhere.
Jake-
"Okay, definitely." I said, and when she left I smiled at October. "Its nice to know I'm not alone family-wise." I said. I kissed October gently. "What did you think of her?"
October: I smiled and leaned into him, kissing his cheek gently. "I think she's a really sweet girl." I replied.
Jake: I was walking around town when I saw that girl in the alley again. I stayed in the shadows so she couldn't see me. "You should know better than to walk down alleys alone by now.." I said.
Jake
I smiled and nodded. "Yes.. I think so too.." I said and I kissed her once more. "I'm going to take a shower, okay?" I said before walking to the shower.
Lia
"I guess I should have learned my lesson.." I said. I knew who it was. It was the vampire. I should be scared of him, but for some reason I just didn't feel scared of him.. I felt a strange connection.. I tried not to let it control me though. "What's your name?" I asked him.
October: I sighed and sat on the couch, watching TV. I ran my fingers through my hair, deep in thought.
Ash: I slowly stepped out of the shadows, looking at her. I sighed gently. "Ash. What's your name?" I asked gently.
Jake
When I was done with my shower, I dried off, and dressed nicely. I put a bit of gel in my hair and I walked out to the living room. I Quietly snuck up behind her, and I kissed her neck, feeling her jump. I chuckled slightly, and I sat beside her. "Gotcha."
Lia
"I'm Lia.. Or Lialyn. Lia is just a nickname." I said and I smiled. "Where do you live? I mean, I've seen you around before. But your always sitting against a building or something." I said.
October: I stuck my tongue out at him and smiled."You look nice." I said with a giggle.
Ash: I sighed, a little irritated. "I live anywhere I can lay down. I can't stay in my apartments anymore." I mumbled, looking down.
Jake
"Thanks, love." I said and I kissed her softly. She was funny to scare every once and a while. Then she would always get me back somehow. Most of the time do her little teasing thing.
Lia
I noticed how he was irritated. With me? I felt bad for asking. "Oh.. I'm sorry.. Well, I have a two bedroom apartment.. Its a guest room. If you want to stay there you can.." I said, and I handed him my phone number. "Just call.." I said.
