"That's what I've also been studying the past two years. There must be a figure head for Chaos and one for Harmony right? Well, what if, someone like me was on the side of Harmony, and others were on the side of Chaos. Then, the highest ranking person like me would be the figure head of Harmony, and the Side of Chaos would have one as well. Of course, there won't be much of stuff we can do, as I can not enter the Demon Realm unless aided by a Demon, and You.... well.... you are alive. You can't exactly just walk up to a Demon and destroy them, yet alone the one in charge. So it might just be an everlasting conflict surrounding the Earth. The more Chaos in one area would increase the peoples suffering there, and the more Harmony would increase the peoples joy and health. That's all I know on the subject." He said with an empty tone in his voice. 'It's because the Angels can't win this fight that children are suffering...'
He smiled lightly at her small rant. "I haven't thought about it like that. So make friends with demons, got it." He reached up and ran a hand through his hair, yawning lightly as he did.
"Yes they would know quickly, but they shouldn't just try and kill me for it. We usually just stay away from each other, except the head honchos. Wait, did you just say...." Fallen paused "...Hard? For me? Come on, did you forget who I am already? I'm Hope! Nothing is difficult for me! The world will end when something is hard for me!" He announced playfully. He still had doubts, but there was no way he was going to tell that to Ella. She had enough on her plate for now.
"All right." He stood up behind her and folded his wings behind his back. "And yeah, there are a few things difficult for me. Sewing for example. I can't ever get the needle to go through where it's supposed to. And socializing can be awkward since I was never raised by anyone. But that's about it. Oh, and talking to girls. That gets hard fast." His eyes widened slightly. "I mean it gets difficult fast!" Fallen explained.
His face turned red and he scratched the back of his head.
"I can deal with teasing." Hope said with a smile
After a few seconds, he grinned and dashed to where she was. "Of course!"
He followed closely behind her, making sure to keep her in his vision. The only thing he hated about Friday nights was that some people that shouldn't come out did. He shivered at the mess that he made when he saw that old man take a little girl down an alleyway. The kid was fine, but the pedophile never made it to the hospital. After that thought, he sped up the pace to stick with her.
Fallen walked directly behind her and enveloped them in his wings, preventing from others touching and seeing them. "I don't like some of the people in this town..." He mumbled lightly. He gently picked her up and started to pick up speed. Claustrophobia always kicked in when more than eight people were in a crowd.
He did as she said and took a right. After a few more long strides he put her down and pulled his wings away.
He reached into his pocket and made sure the objects he put into his pocket was still there. After feeling the cold metal in his pocket, Fallen walked right next to Ella. "I don't like it here."
"All right." He said as he waved at Candy to be nice. He kept walking beside Ella, trying not to panic. 'Do not want. Do NOT want.'
He tried to relax as he spoke mostly to himself. "Just keep swimming... Just keep swimming...." After a moment he looked at her. "But we aren't swimming...."
Hope smiled lightly and gave a small laugh. "I'm glad you had something for those times."
"Ah." 'Rich snobs? I hope I'm not in that category... I probably shouldn't have done the TV thing.... I don't wanna be a snob.' "Left. Got it."
"Easy." Hope said as he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small box. There was a tiny switch that he used and the box turned into a regular sized suitcase. "We fit it all in here."
"It's a bottomless suitcase. It can fit anything from a sphinx to a skyscraper." He said as he stood up. "We could try the alarm. I haven't had any fun like this since I was nine."
He followed closely behind her and laughed quietly to himself.
He went to help her with her drawers but thought better of it. "Tell me where you clothes aren't. I don't want to come across stuff that you don't want me to see."
After a few seconds, he shrugged and lifted the drawers and put it in the suit case. "That's quicker, eh?"
"Be careful." He said as he started moving everything else into the bag.
He looked over and saw her predicament. After a small chuckle he got up and placed his hand upon the small of her back and gently pushed her towards the suitcase. "It's right over here."
He nodded and opened up the window. He flicked the switch on the suit case and put it back in his pockets. Hope opened his arms as if to embrace her. "I'll fly us. Just don't close your eyes or look down. Look at me and you won't even know we're flying."
He walked to her and picked her up bridal style. "Remember, Don't look away from me." Hope then looked to the window, his wings started to unfurl and they flew.
Mikael looked at the crowd and smiled. He liked to watch the humans, such pathetic creatures sure were funny. No one was looking at him, humans knew when to look and not look at a demon. That was a relief, he didn't want to have some curious human asking him about the color of his eyes or hair. Even though it was easy to make up with an excuse, he just had to say that his hair was dyed and that he was wearing contact lenses, but probably he would have ended up killing that stupid curious human.
He walked around the mall, thinking about how the demons had the city almost on their hands and about that strange angelic power that he had felt before. He thought about his brother. He had never seen him, but he knew that they were twins so it would be easy to recognize him. He had heard rumors about his brother being an angel, Mikael didn't know if they were true or not, but he was determined to find it out.
"Then I will be very offended. I might even cry when we get back home." He said in a fake sad voice. He even gave a small fake sob. Hope angled his flight pattern as he flew over the park and into his neighbor hood.
As he took a right he saw his house. "It's okay. You're home now. You're safe." He told her as he landed in his spacious back yard. Hope let her down and gave her the little box/suitcase of awesomeness. "I'm sorry for not flying faster." Hope leaned forward, gave her a peck on the cheek and went inside the house, immediately falling on the couch and passing out.
The next morning, he woke up with a small pain in his back. "Stupid couch...."
Fallen walked into the kitchen and started cooking breakfast. "Need... food..."
Mikael felt a soft angelic presence when he was near the mall, the day before. He followed it to Fallen's house and now he was spying them from the roof of one of the nearby houses. "An angel and a human? Interesting. He may know about my brother. I'll just watch, for now" He stood there hiding from anyone's sight and looking at the two youngsters. He looks lke a minor angel. Good. I'm stronger." Although he wasn't one of the strongest demons, he was, more or less, in the middle of the hierarchy.
"Bacon, sausage, and pancakes." He hollered to her, sleep still in his voice. "I also got coffee, milk, and orange juice for drinking."
After a few seconds, he answered. "Like two minutes."
After he escorted Kirby to his house, just to be sure that he was safe, Miguel spent the night exploring the city. He stopped a couple of robberies and killed two or three demons. One hour before dawn he was bored of walking around and decided to pay a visit to his friend, Fallen. It took him a couple of hours to find Fallen's angelic essence, but after that it was easy to follow it to his house. He waited at the door for a couple of minutes, unsure of what to do. Eventually, he decided to knock at the door and waited.
Miguel was surprised, he didn't expected a girl to open the door but then he recognized her as the girl from the other day. "Oh, hello, you are that girl from the park." He smiled. "My name is Miguel, nice to meet you."
He heard a voice over the sound of the sizzling bacon. "Hey Miguel! Come on in! Breakfast is almost ready!" Fallen quickly flipped the pancakes.
He looked over at Ella when he heard her walk in. "Morning Hun." He pushed a plate towards her, filled with food. "A meal for a queen."
Miguel came in, he was about to hide his wings using the glamour when he saw that Fallen's wings were not hidden. "Does she know what are we?" He said as he closed the door behind him.
Miguel unfolded his wings for her to see. "Yes, I am. I apologize if I've offended you, it was not my intention." He folded his wings and walked into the kitchen. "Mmmm. . . breakfast. I have not eaten since yesterday."
Miguel blinked a couple of times. "I think it's a habit. I was born on the 15th century and I was raised to speak politely. To be honest I haven't thought about it until now." He laughed friendly.
