Childhood Friends Turn Into Sweethearts?

I pulled back and winked before rolling out from under him, getting up and walking away. "I'm gonna take a shower." I said. I love teasing him. I used to tease him, (in a different way) and he always got so angry and frustrated with me. It was so cute.

I sighed , a little frustrated. She got me going a little. "I'll be here." I said, chuckling. She always did that, teased me. This was in a different way. But when we were little, and sometimes now I would get a little mad with her. I guess she thought it was cute or something.

I took a hot shower, doing more thinking then washing myself. This feels right... But I can't help but feel a little.. Weird.. I shook the thoughts away and got out of the shower, drying myself off and putting clothes on. I walked back into the bedroom and crawled in next to him. "Sorry for teasing you." I said softly, kissing his neck gently.

I shrugged, and I kissed her softly. "Its fine." I said, and I rubbed her back gently. "Its only fair that I get you back, though.." I said, and rolled and shivered over her, my legs between hers, and I was propped up on my elbows, I kissed her once more..

I chuckled and kissed him back gently, placing my hands on his cheeks, closing my eyes.

(Do you still roleplay guys? Maybe we could have two stories going? Just an idea.)

I kissed her a bit more passionately and I ran my hand down her side slowly. She was so beautiful.. I felt like I could truly be myself around her. All the other girlfriends I had I felt I couldn't do that.

(I feel like I should add a twist.. maybe he could be a vampire hunter or something. Or a vampire himself?)

I ran my tongue across his bottom lip slowly and smiled behind the kiss. His lips move perfectly with mine, like they were meant for each other. A sudden thought ran across my mind. What if we break up? Would that ruin all of our years of friendship?

My phone rang, and I slowly rolled off, and answered. "Hello?" It was my friend John, he was having trouble getting this one vampire down and needed me now. "Okay, I'll be over in a few. Okay, yes I will, Aunt May..." I said. Giving October the impression it was my aunt. "My aunt needs milk.. I'll run to the store and I'll bring her some. I'll be back, okay?" I said, and I kissed her forehead. "Love you.." I said and I walked out of the room, and to my car. I opened the trunk and grabbed the stake, and my gloves. I was born into this.. And I hated that I had to keep it from everyone. If someone knew, the chances became higher of them getting hurt.. I got in the car, and sped off. I was soon at the forest where my friend was. I ran over to him, and pushed the vampire off, he went after me, and threw a few punches. I felt something run down my cheek. Blood probably. Great. I tussled with the vampire for a little, finally getting the upper hand and driving the stake threw his chest. He fell to the ground and disappeared. I looked over at my friend, his eyes wide. He was still new at this. How would I explain my bruises to October?

I sighed and cleaned around the room boredly. I walked to the living room and sat on the couch, watching a comedy. I looked at the clock and frowned. What is taking him so long?...

I cleaned myself up, and I saw a bruise clearly forming on my cheek . I closed the mirror that was in my car and I sighed. I checked the time and I quickly started the car. October would be worried.. When I got back I walked in. "Sorry I took a while.. And I got in an argument with someone, and they punched me.. I'm fine." I said, October's face clearly showing worry. My face hurt pretty bad.. I grabbed an ice pack from the freezer and I put it on my cheek. "He got me good.."

I got up and walked over to him, taking the ice pack off so I could look at his face. "He did get you good baby..." I said softly, placing the ice pack back on it. I kissed his other cheek and sighed, sitting back down. "I'm glad you're okay.."

"Me too.." I said quietly.. The vampire was very close to getting me that time.. Too close.. I walked over and sat down by her, I put my arm around her, and set the ice pack on the armrest. I kissed her forehead gently. I always had a bruise on me, or my arm and always scratches somewhere. She knew that. She just all the time didn't know what happened. I couldn't tell her.. I couldn't have her be put in danger.. I looked on the ground, by the TV.. My hunting bag? I got up quickly, and grabbed it. I put it in the closet, hoping she wouldn't notice that much.. I sat back down, and sighed.

I saw him put something in the closet and I rose an eyebrow. The way he got up quickly, it would seem that he's hiding something from me. I frowned and looked back at the TV, chewing on the inside of my cheek. "What was that?" I asked.

I shrugged and looked at her. "Just a bag.." I said. "I didn't want anyone to trip." I said. I hated lying to her.. It hurt me. I had to keep reminding myself that this was to keep her safe. "Don't worry about it.." I said, and I kissed her neck softly, and I grabbed her hand.. What if she found out what I did? What I'd kept from her for all these years.. Would she be mad?

I sighed. "Okay.." I said softly, squeezing his hand gently. After a while I got a call. "Oh yeah? Thanks a lot. Bye." I hung up and looked up at Jake. "My heater is fixed. I should probably go home." I smiled slightly and kissed his cheek gently, standing up.

"Oh.. Well.. Alright. I'll be here." I said, smiling. When she left, I heard a window break in my bedroom. I jumped up and ran into it. I looked around my room, nothing.. But a broken window. I slowly grabbed my stake and gloves.. I felt the vampire jump on my back, and take me down. I fell with a thud, and I quickly got him off, I shoved him against the wall, and tried to stake him. He swung at me hard, making me black out for a few seconds. He ran down the hall, and opened the door, I charged at him, and tackled him, he could not get to October.. Hell no. I heard someone scream.. And I quickly drove the stake into the vampire, he disappeared. Meaning my job was done. I looked at the lady, and no one would believe her story. "Just get home.. You saw nothing.." I said and I made sure no one else was looking before I walked back inside.. No damage was done, just my window. That's okay, I guess..

My front door opened and I heard a loud scream and a thump. I jumped up, my hand gripping my heart and I ran outside, but nobody but the lady was there. "What happened?" I asked, panicked. She just shook her head and walked out the door. "I'm seeing things..." She murmured. I closed my door softly and slid down to the ground, trying to control my racing heart. What just happened? And who opened my door.

My breathing was still very heavy.. I grabbed my phone and called October. "You okay?" I asked her. That vampire managed to open her door, I hoped that she didn't see anything more.. Please don't notice my heavy breathing I thought. I tried my best to sound normal. I didn't want her worrying..

"I'm fine.... What the hell was that?" I asked, suddenly panicking. I stood up and locked the door, walking back to my couch and laying down, my heart still pounding like crazy. "And why are you breathing funny?"

"I don't know what it was.. That's why I checked to see if you were okay. And.. I'm not breathing funny?" I said, trying to aspect a little confused. My breathing was calm now. If that vampire got her.. I didn't want to even think of what he could have done to her..

"O-Okay... Well.. Thanks for checking on me...." I said softly, swallowing gently. My heart finally resumed it's normal pace and I sighed, closing my eyes.

"Yeah.. Well.. I'll text you." I said, and hung up. The resat of the week was pretty boring, me doing routine hunts, October and I hanging out. Our relationship got pretty good, we were being more of a couple now. We went out to eat a couple times. It was Friday again, and it was mine and Octobers movie night. Also, it was a week we had been together..

I invite him over around 7 and we sat on the couch, with popcorn and candy. Our first movie was a romantic comedy. I rested my head on his shoulder and took his hand, squeezing it gently.

(How should she find out what he does? How about she finds his bag? )

I chuckled at the movie, and I squeezed her hand in return. I kissed her forehead, and I took a few pieces of popcorn. Which was was actually really good. Popcorn was one of my favorite snacks.

(Or.. What if in the middle of the night a vampire breaks in and tries to attack her but he comes and saves her?)

After the first movie ended, I looked up at him and smiled. "Your cheek looks a lot better.." I said softly. It's now swollen and the color isn't as dark.

(Yes! That works better.)

I looked at the time. I wasn't really feeling up for another movie. "Yeah, no more fights for me." I said and I smiled softly. "I think I'll call it a night.. I'm tired, and how about tomorrow we go out for breakfast?" I suggested. When she agreed, I kissed her softly. And I headed back to my apartment down the hall. I laid down on my couch, and watched TV, then I slowly fell asleep..

I woke up at midnight and sighed, sitting up. Time for a midnight snack. I got up and walked to the kitchen, turning on the lights. I grabbed an apple and a knife and I began to slice it. "Why hello there." An eerie voice whispered. I turned around and I was slammed into the wall, something making a painful cracking sound. I groaned, tears running down my cheeks and I grabbed the knife, slamming it into his stomach. Unaffected. He let out a laugh and he grabbed my neck, pulling me up and slamming my head against the wall. He grabbed my wrist and sunk his fangs into it. Wait... FANGS?!

I woke up, sensing there was a vampire nearby.. October.. I had to check on October! I grabbed my stake and gloves and ran over to her apartment, opening the door. My heart sank.. I saw the vampire , he was drinking from her. I ran over and grabbed him, he released her and I shoved him against the wall, the stake horizontal against his throat. My eyes turned bright green. It was a slayer thing. "Don't EVER touch her ! You fucker!!!" I drove the stake in his chest, I watched his eyes as he disappeared. I quickly picked up October and I laid her on the couch. I tore my shirt off, and I ripped it, I tore a piece off to wrap around her wrist. "October.. Sweetie.. Are you alright? Please say something.." I said and I touched her for head. She had a red spot on the aide of her head.. It was bruising quick.. This made me hate vampire a million times more..
