I slowly pulled back, and I closed the door behind her. I walked over and I sat by the fire, gently tugging her along by the sleeve of her shirt. I looked at her, and I sighed. "Cancer. My grandma has terminal cancer." I mouthed
I frowned and gently took his hand. "I am so sorry Kian.." I whispered. I wrapped my arms around him and let him rest against me. "I should have been there for you.."
I took a deep breath, not wanting to break down again like last time. I just sat there silently. Hugging her. Christmas was in two days, and it would not be an amazing one, I knew it. It being the last one I'll have with my grandma. I slowly pulled back and I looked at her, then down. "You're fine." I mouthed.
"It won't happen again.." I said softly, watching him. With the death of his grandma determined, will he ever talk?
I looked up when she said that, and I touched her arm softy. "Promise?" I mouthed, looking deep into her eyes. God. I couldn't stop thinking about how her lips felt on mine. No. Stop,
I smiled at him and nodded
"I promise. "
I nodded slowly. "Good.." I mouthed, then I looked back at the fire, sighing softly, then I ran my hand through my black shaggy hair.
I sat quietly with him, holding his hand, running my thumb over the top of his hand.
It was a comfortable silence, to be honest. Not awkward at all. I slowly interwined our fingers.
I looked down at our hands and a small smile tugged at my lips. I looked over at him, watching the side of his face as he stared into the fire.
I wished her and I could be much more. I really did. I frowned slightly thinking about it. She got me, she understood me.
I saw him frown and I gently turned his face to look at me. "What's wrong?" I asked softly.
I looked down at our hands, and I gave hers a light squeeze. I then looked up at her. "Why?" I mouthed. Why was she holding my hand. Why did she care about me so much. Just.. why?
I frowned and stared into his eyes. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"Why cant we be together?" I mouthed, and I looked back down at our hands. "One date. Give me a chance."
My heart started to pound quickly. I looked into his pretty eyes. Then I slowly nodded. "Okay.."
I grinned, and hugged her. Whrn I looked back at her, I kissed her cheek. "Tomorrow night."
I blushed and nodded. I gently squeezed his hand before getting up. "I'll see you then.. " I smiled at him before leaving and going home.
The rest of the day was easygoing, my Grandma just slept, and I had to wake her so she could eat. The next day, it was about 6 in the afternoon. I had gotten all dressed up. I worw a blue button up and black jeans, and black vans. I styled my hair a bit messy, but in a nice way. I got her some roses, and I was now on my way to pick her up.
I was so scared that I was shaking. I wore a pretty blue blouse that brought out my ice colored eyes, and wore a nice black skirt with flats. I put on some massacra and eyeliner, and I curled my long silvery hair. I walked downstairs and my dad grinned. "You look beautiful."
I knocked on the door, and I waited nervously.. my god.. these butterflies.
My dad answered the door and gave him the fatherly talk, then he gave him the fatherly glare. "Dad.." I said from behind him. I peeked over my dad's shoulder and smiled. "Hi, Kian.." I said nervously. My dad moved out of the way and I hugged Kian tightly.
When he talked, he was very intimidating, and a very large scary man.. and when I saw Winter peek from behind him, my jaw dropped. She looked beautiful.. when she huggged me I wrapped my arms around her sweetly. Then when she pulled away I handed her the roses, smiling.
I smiled and took the roses. "Thank you.." I said softly. "I'm going to put these in a vase. Daddy, don't kill him." I said with a chuckle. I went and put them away, and I heard my dad say,"She must really like you son.. To let you hear her accent. She always made me hide my accent when she had friends ov-" he stopped talking when I walked in. "That's enough daddy. I'll see you later." I kissed his cheek and grabbed Kian's hand, leading him out of the house.
I chuckled softly when she told him enough, and I took her hand and I waved when we walked out. I opened my car door for her, then closed it when she was in. Then I got to my side and buckled in. She had no idea where we were going. Surprise.
I absentmindedly toyed with my mother's locker around my neck as I stared out the window. I wonder where we're going..
I pulled up to a nice seafood and grill place. My favorite. I got Out and I then opened the door for her. I kissed her cheek then lead her inside. We had a table reserved by a window, a very nice candle lit area.
I smiled and sat down across from him, looking out the window. "Wow.. This is really nice Kian." I said softly.
I smiled, and nodded. I glanced at her with admiration, she looked so beautiful.. when the waitress came over, I pointed at the coke on the menu.
I got the same thing, concealing my accent once more. I fingered my locket, while looking into Kian's eyes. "So.."
