The Knight.

Autumn:
I grinned and rested my legs on his lap. "I know! I've already started applying to colleges, and I'm going to audition for Julliard on Wednesday." I said.

Annabelle:
I threw a pillow at him and then went to the bathroom to fix my hair.

"Right." I said, nodding. She was actually doing something with her life, and im here, not sure what ill be doing yet. I would miss her alot if she went away to college..

I chuckled and I walked after her. "You look beautiful." I said, hugging her from behind and kissing her neck. "Prank war."

His smile didn't quite reach his eyes.. I frowned and took his hand. "What's wrong?" I asked.

I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck, pecking his lips softly. "You're on."

I turned at looked at her, then our hand. "What?" I said innocently. "Nothings wrong." I said, sipping on the coffee, trying to play it off. "My mouth hurts. Thats it." I said, the hot coffee reminding me.

I chuckled, and kissed her nose before pulling away. "Its hard to get me though." I said.

"Don't lie to me." I said seriously."I've known you our whole lives. I know when you're lying. What's wrong?" I repeated, letting go of his hand.

I smirked. "We'll see."

I looked at her, and sighed, I set my coffee down. "When you go to college, im just going to really miss you.." I saidx rubbing the back of my neck. "Im sorry if that sounds selfish, or cheesy.."

I smiled slightly. "I'll miss you too. But I'll visit all the time. You're my best friend." I said, grabbing his hand again.

Aaannnnd thered the friendzone. I nodded, and gave her hand a squeeze. "Okay. Promise?" I asked, looking deeply into her eyes.

His eyes are so pretty.. I could feel myself getting lost in them.. I blinked and snapped out of it, nodding vaguely. "I promise." I answered softly.

"Okay.." I spoke softly. "How about.. we go swimming in the pool?" I suggested, drinking my coffee, and not even eaiting for her answer before going to the guest bedroom, which was mainly my room I used, and changing into swim trunks.

I sighed. He's acting so strange.. I went to my bedroom and got dressed in a blue bikini. I brushed out my hair and then looked in the mirror. I stay fit. I went out to the poor and got on the diving board.

I quickly headed back down, and I dove into the pool from the side, the weather perfect to do so. I swam to the surface, seeing her on the board. "Water is great!" I said.

I smiled. I lifted my arms over my head and did a few practice hops before I dove in. I used to be on the swim team for my PE credit.

I dove under also, and swam to one end of the pool, and bsck, and to the end, just going back and forth. All under water. I could hold my breath for a very very long time.

I surfaced and sucked in breath, smoothing my hair back. I smiled as I watched him swim. He has a nice body.. I shook my head. Snap out of it.

I surfaced finally, and I sat on the edge of the pool for a breather. "I see you still have your swim team stuff down." I said.

I chuckled. "Shut your face." I teased. I sat next to him and sighed, rubbing my eyes.

"Just complementing, miss catty." I said, and I looked at her as she sat be me. "You alright?" I askrd.

I nodded and smiled at him. 'Of course. Are you?" I asked.

"Yeee..aaah." I said, and I splashed her, and laughed at her expression before diving in. It was on!

I laughed and dived in after him, chasing him. When I caught up with him, I jumped on his back.

I chuckled, and let her go as I went to the bottom of the pool, and held my breath, my belly touching the bottom. Ah ha.. she will never get me.

I surfaced and frowned down at him. Jerk. I chuckled and floated on my back, closing my eyes.

I slowly came up under her, and lifted her up bridal style and went to the shallow end, laughing at how much I had chocked her. "Boo."

I gasped and looked up at him. "You scared the shit out of me!"

"Goooood." I said, kissing her cheek playfully. "Muaaaah." I said, a bit delayed as I looked into her eyes. Craaap. I set her down on the edge of the pool. "Sooo.."

I felt my cheeks burning and I splashed some water on my face quickly. "So.."

"Want to go out for lunch? Im starving. But first I have to swing by my place." I said, looking up at her.

I nodded. "Alright, cool." I replied. I got up and wrapped a towel around myself. I went to my bedroom and dried off before getting dressed. I blow dried my hair and then did my makeup quickly.

I walked into the bedroom after drying off and I got dressed and ready, I out cologne on so I didnt smell like pool water. "Lets gooo!" I shoted from the front door..

"Coming!" I answered. I sprayed on some of my favorite vanilla perfume and I grabbed my wallet, slipping it in my pocket. I walked out and smiled at him. "Alright, let's go."

"You didn't need that makeup, you know." I said before opeing the door for her and I got in on my side and started the car. "Geez, its hot.." I said, turning the ac on.

"My eyes were red and puffy from the chlorine. Yes, I needed it." I answered, getting in and putting my seatbelt on. "Anyways, since when do you care weather or not I put on makeup?"

"Sinncee.. a few days ago." I said. "Anyway, where shpuld we go? Subway, taco bell.." I said, changing the subject, and I drove down the road and into the city.

"Subway," I answered, leaning my cheek against the cold window. It felt so good. I closed my eyes and sort of dozed a little, like I always do in car rides.

"We are here." I said, touching her knee and shaking it lightly, and pulling up to the subway, and getting out. "Im paying." I said.

I got out and shut the door, following him into subway. I just got one of their mini pizzas, because they're good.

I got a blt with avocado, and I sat down, taking a bite, groaning at the taste. "Amazinnng." I said dramatically, making funny hand motions. I could really be myself around her.. plus, no one elese was here.

I chuckled at him. "Aww how adorable." I teased, pinching his cheek. I took a drink of my soda and leaned back, looking out the window.

I glared at her, and laughed. "Silly." I said. "You know, your parents are touring here in this city tomorrow, would be a good chance to see them in action at the concert." I said with a shrug.
