Hearing his words, Sasha blushed even more. She was blushing?! Of course she was blushing, he was teasing her about Enzo!
Not that she cared about Enzo in the slightest. Nope. Not that. Sasha shook her head, almost certain of the fact.
She was just about to actually punch him, when he leaned away, and said something about his 'master plan' or whatever. A master plan? To do what? That confused Sasha; what was JD getting at?
Enzo, still blushing, figured it would be best to hurry and figure out what was in the box. Without saying bye, he hurried off, leaving Sasha and JD in the lobby. "What is JD talking about?" He muttered to himself. He walked up to his room door and unlocked it. "I can't kiss a girl." He walked into the dorm, it was different alright. For one, it was clean, and everything was in order. On the desk was some books he had not seen before. And right on the opposite side of the room, was a miniature chair, which Kenji was on.

"SHUT UP!" Enzo shouted.
Silver sat up quickly, looking around to see if anyone was there. That was when she felt his icy breathe on her neck. "Hello Silver.. It seems you haven't been a good girl since you left me." She froze. What could she do? She couldn't make a run for it or call for help; anyone she would call for would just get killed. She simply sat there as he put her hand on the side of her neck, brushing the hair away from her face and whispering into her ear. "What should I do about that?"
Please go away, please let this be a dream, please let me wake up.. She shivered a bit as she clenched her fists, hoping it would be over soon.
When Enzo ran away- JD almost felt a bit bad, but it really wasn’t his intention to shame the boy into fleeing. It was then he turned to Sasha and smirked. She looked totally and completely confused, and that only made him smile brighter. “Anyway- have a good day Sasha- toodles!” It was then he meandered off in an attempt to locate Silver.
Feeling defeated, Eos turned to more childlike antics. She wasn't one to throw a temper tantrum - instead she closed her door and reached for her journal. Taking hold of that along with a felt tip pen, she laid on her stomach and slid herself under the bed.
Hiding, it was something she had done often in her life. Sometimes it was instructed by JD - for her safety. But sometimes it was just something she did to hide from her problems.
The lighting in the room shown onto her journal, but other than that - she was completely hidden beneath the bed frame.
The man grabbed the back of Silver's neck as he leaned over her, picking up her hand with the ring on it. "Didn't I tell you to take this off?" he asked as he attempted to slide it off her finger. He became frustrated when it wouldn't simply slide off, however, and tried to pull it off using a bit more force, without tearing her finger off. She grimaced in pain as he wasn't being gentle in his actions. Why wouldn't it just come off already? Perhaps it was because she didn't really want it to come off after seeing how much it helped her with her magic. After a minute or so, he gave up and stood in front of her. "Fine, have it your way then. This will only make your punishment worse, you know." Before Silver could react, he stabbed one of his swords right into her thigh, going right through it easily. Silver bit her lip; she knew that screaming would only make him more irritable and cause more problems.
He slowly slid the sword back out and put it against her neck, leaning in close to her again. "Go ahead, scream. It will make it more fun for me, you know." Silver frowned, still biting her lip, and accidentally let a tear slip down her cheek. The man wiped it off with his hand that had slipped back around her neck, and spoke. "You've grown weak."
She tilted her head, still confused. What the hell was that smirk for? Did he know something that...that Sasha didn't..?
The thumping in her heart confused her as well. Was it really that embarrassing to be teased about that sort of thing? Or was it just...when it was about Enzo?
Sasha shook her head; she wouldn't think anything of the sort right now. Instead, the girl went back up to her dorm, and flopped backwards onto the bed, sighing a little, a bit deep in thought.
Enzo set down the box on his desk, where his computer was. Behind him, there was a figure moving in the bed, though he didn't notice it. Kenji, who had done all the comedy he could muster for one day, hopped onto the computer table, and looked at the box. "Did Ling give you that?" he asked.
"No, it's from Aleister.." he said. Kenji crossed his arms in thought, as Enzo unboxed it's contents. There, a school uniform, a pair of special gloves of some kind, and a stack of books with Aleister's face on some of the covers.
"The new Headmaster, huh?" Kenji muttered. "Yeah.. about that.." Enzo stopped unpacking the contents to look at Kenji. "Aleister wants to mentor me from now on." He said with a worried expression. Kenji stayed silent for a moment, before saying "You should do it." "Huh?.. You're not angry?" Kenji shook his head. "Consider it a training mission from me."
A muffled voice was heard from Enzo's bed. Enzo quickly turned around. "W-who's there?!" He pointed at the bed, calling out whoever was in there. "Sky.. Your room is amazing."
After a while, Silver ended up on the ground. The man stood above her, staring at her with the same blank face he always had. "You're not going to fight back at all, huh? You just want this to be over so you can go back to your weak little friends, and have them make you weaker? How pathetic." He kicked her in the stomach again. She had been quite beat up, and she was on the ground, trying to hold her leg so it wouldn't bleed too much. She was coughing up a bit of blood due to all the blows to her torso, but she was thankful he had only stabbed her leg rather than other parts of her body.
"Look at me when I'm talking to you." She slowly turned her head to look up at him, and he narrowed his eyes. He took one of his swords, raised it above her, and swung down directly at her head. He stopped the sword right as it got to her cheek, and he slowly ran the edge along her cheek, cutting it lightly. She gasped a little at the sudden stinging pain on her cheek, but still laid there and took it. He sighed. "You've bored me now, look at what you have done," he muttered as he put his sword away. "The next time I come back, you better not be as weak as you are now. And ditch that ring, plus those little friends of yours. You do not need them." He turned to walk away. "Oh, and if you don't, I can't promise they will stay safe from my wrath. You know how I get when people don't obey me." Silver's eyes got wide at his comment, and she stared after him as he disappeared behind the trees, and the darkness had gone away. Things went back to their normal, relaxed state, and she took a deep breath.

She looked down at her body, beaten, covered in bruises and cuts, and started crying. She curled up, holding her wounded leg close to her, hoping no one would find her like this. Maybe, if she got lucky, she would just die there. She didn't want to put people in danger, and she couldn't live with it if someone died because of her. She stared at the trees around her, thinking about what a nice and peaceful place this was, away from everyone. She sat up and dragged herself to a nearby tree, leaning herself against it and staring at her surroundings.
At least he's gone now..
"I wonder where this school is?"
Artur strolls through the forest in a blind attempt to find a school he doesn't even know the name of. It wasn't like his Nani hadn't told him what it was called, he just forgot. Of course no one could really blame Artur, he was nervous and had never gone to a real school before.
He had been taught by his Nani and the few qualified teachers in his village. He wasn't very skilled in the art of magic. In fact he knew very little about magic. All he knew was what kind of flowers could be brewed to knock someone out, tree saps that could heal flesh wounds and eradicate irritation with rashes and burns. What plants could staunch internal bleeding momentarily. He could also kill someone with the right type of berry consumption and Artur also knew how to make some gosh darn good tea.
He admires a butterfly that wisps past his nose. Artur watches it flutter to a nearby flower and promptly trips over a creeper.
"O-Oww!" He pushes himself up and hisses at the stinging pain in his knee. "You're such an idiot Artur!"
He doesn't notice he has company a few meters from him.
Silver looked up, as it seemed she wasn't alone anymore. A strange, young boy had wondered near her, and she frowned at him. "Who are you?" she asked weakly. She couldn't tell if he was friend or foe, but from the vibe she got off him, he didn't seem like a threat at all.
Artur snaps up from his self absorbed thoughts concerning his scraped knee. From the way his mouth drops he's obviously more concerned about her condition then Silver herself.
"OHMYGOSH! OHMYGOSH!"
Artur jumps to his feet and rushes to the girls side. His eyes waver over her body, counting bruises, scrapes, and signs for bleeding. His attention is taken to her leg.
Artur begins to mutter to himself. "Split lip, nicked cheek, possible fractured rib, minor chance of internal bleeding in chest, minor bruise, minor bruise, minor bruise, g-gaping leg wound .. "
He grabs his pouch from his waist and begins to pull things out. The odd bunch of dried leaves or a bottle of colorful liquids. He pulls out a small skin pouch of water and a rag. Dabbing it, he carefully cleans the leg wound.
"This might sting a bit." He whispers.
A clear liquid is applied and instantly it begins to bubble. To kill bacteria and prevent infection. Artur finishes tending by wrapping a sterile bandage around her leg and securing it with a sticky sap.
His wide eyes look to hers intently. "Are you tired at all miss? Feel nausous, faint, dizzy, or warm?" Artur feels her head for a fever.
Before she could even respond to his sudden yelps, he was spouting off her potential injuries and attempting to fix her leg. He was right, it did sting quite a bit. She bit her lip before speaking. "Aiyaa... What's with you?" He seemed to be very in-your-face and willing to help, which was good, but it annoyed Silver.
"I'm fine, I'm fine.. I've had worse.. Oi, stop touching me," she said as she flicked his hand away from her head. "You didn't answer my question, who are you?"
Artur clamps his mouth shout when she flicks his hand from her forehead. He pulls it to his chest protectively.
"O-Oh .. How rude of me!" He stumbles over his words. Artur has just realized what an idiot he was being. How could he forget to ask to help her?! That was one of the big no no's. You always ask if they're conscious. He hoped she didn't notice.
"My name is Artur." He smiles weakly.
"Artur? I haven't seen you around.. Are you new or something?" She eyed the strange boy suspiciously. They were close to the school, so she assumed he was a student as well. With all the changes that had been going on at the school, she wondered if all of the students had become as seemingly-weak as him. She looked to her leg as it seemed to be feeling better already, probably because something was actually there to stop the blood from flowing out now. She huffed. Which hurt. She put her hand on her chest and clenched her fist, trying not to express the pain too much. Who knows what he'd do?
"Yes I am new! I was trying to find out where the school was ... But I lost my way from the main road."
Artur notices the clenching. A common sign that someone is holding back the vocals of pain.
"Pardon me miss but I think we should make haste to the school. I need to examine for broken ribs and internal damage properly. I don't think it wise to examine you out in the open. Nani said that's public indecency so we should move to a private medical room." His smile widens earnestly with his naive suggestion.
"..." Was this guy for real? He comes out of nowhere and suddenly claims her as his new patient? Silver wasn't going to have any of that, no matter how much pain she was in. "No, I'm fine. Just let me be. Thank you for helping my leg, now go away. The school is that way," she said as she pointed off in the direction of the school, fighting back the urge to cough, which failed. She coughed a bit, and coughed up a bit more blood as well. She sighed and let her arm fall to her side; she was tired and didn't want to deal with this at all right now.
Artur's brow furrows at the rude gratitude he receives. His concern is further deepened as she begins to hack up blood. Quickly Artur makes a cover so he can assure her safety. A patients health is top priority and should be sought over until the end!
"... Sorry to er pester you miss but I'm kinda nervous .. " He frowns. "Do you think I could come with you?"
"Do you honestly think I'm in any condition to walk?" she asked, noting how rude that might have sounded. But she didn't really care at this point, he was bugging her and she wanted him to go away. "Unless you would be willing to carry me, which I don't think you could. You look pretty small to me."
Artur's face flushes in embarrassment.
"I can carry you! And I ain't small!" He stands up and offers her a hand with a determined look.
Closing her journal, she sighed. It had been a long day - or was it a long month? Maybe that was why she felt the way she did. Honestly, she was just tired. The comfort of the cool wooden floor made her feel at ease, and so did being able to write out all her thoughts and feelings.
Although she couldn't help lingering on the last thought she had jotted down, even as her eyes began to shut and her head rested on her arms. "Where has Voli gone...?" She had been so caught up in everything she lost track of him after he came out of the portal. Maybe he was mad she went through and didn't stick around to help. Would he think she was selfish?
"Enki, what are you doing?" Enzo's heart nearly jumped out of his chest. "Enki hasn't signed up for the school yet. I told him he could stay here." Kenji replied, in Enki's place. The red haired boy on the other hand poked his head out from the blankets. "How are these covers so clean?" He asked, with an astonished expression "Well," Enzo scratched his head. "I heard they shifted things around in the dorms, they may have given everyone new sheets or something." Enki sat up straight on the bed, his hair messed up. "I see. This is where you reside."
Enzo sighed, and looked back at the boxes contents. He took out the uniform and held it out infront of himself, examining it. "Looks very.. military." "I'll wear it if I have to." At this time, Kenji reached into the box and pulled out the gloves. "And these?" he asked. Enzo turned around and saw the gloves in Kenji's hand. Enzo set down the uniform on the computer chair and got a closer look at the gloves. "They've got..." "A magical presence, right?" Enzo nodded.
After ten or so minutes, Enzo was dressed in the new uniform, and had put on the gloves. He flexed his hand around inside the gloves. "They feel funny." He muttered. Just as he was about to leave, Enki got up and walked over to him. "S-Sky.. I want to hang out, too.." He said, nervously. Enzo turned around and smiled. "Mhm, come on then!" He said as he grabbed his hand and ran out of the dorm with Enki. Kenji couldn't help but smile at the two getting along after a harsh battle. He couldn't do the same about the rest, though.
After a bit, Sasha stood up, coming to a decision. She sighed; this was the toughest decision she'd ever made. Perhaps she would regret it, or perhaps that would be the opposite. Either way, Saha made her way out of her room, and outside of Eos's. she tapped lightly on it, "U-uh, Eos. It's Sasha," she muttered.
Volitaire rolled out of bed, feeling recharged after taking the Tonic Artizle left for him. He knew it was time, and he wish he didn't have to leave everyone out of it. But too many people would be endangered, he couldn't deal with it. But he figured he'd try to see everyone one last time before taking his leave, and possibly not returning. Artizle was still asleep, he was training all night. Doing exercises to keep his shape, leaving him pretty tired. He waved at his door and put a hood-jacket on he found around the laundry room. It was a grey jacket that managed to fit him perfectly. He lost his other suit jacket somewhere in the Gaze from when he had that fake prom. He exited the bunker and saw Montesque already standing there. "How long have you waited?" He said while climbing up and gaining footing. "Nevermind that. You need to help your friend, Silver." "Why is that..?" Montesque kept silent and a large clock-shaped seal, with spiraling cogs on the sides spun and the transported through a rift. Events quickly blowing past them and halting at a forest outside Sorcerers. Montesque pointed over at Silver, on the ground looking a mess. "Silver!" Volitaire shouted while running to her side. As he ran up he noticed a brown haired boy with her. He didn't look like her attacker, but he looked to be helping. He skidded to a stop. "And who are you?"
Silver looked to Voltaire and let out a sigh of relief, which hurt and ended up making her cough up more blood. "Voltaire, thank God, please, tell this guy to leave me alone." Her face became a bit more serious. "And we need to chat, what's this about you up and leaving?" She looked back to the boy standing next to her, who was still very determined to take her back to the school, and rolled her eyes.
"Hm?" She cooed, having already begun to drift off. At first, she became instantly nervous - afraid at whom might be on the other side. But after hearing a familiar voice she smiled to herself. "Come in~." She hadn't spoke since reaching school grounds, and was amazed how the thought of a friend instantly made her mood perk up.
Eos was still beneath bed, not realizing that it would more than likely be considered weird once Sasha noticed.
Volitaire looked up at the boy and narrowed his eyes under his hood. "I'm not sure who you are, but it looked like you helped before I got here. And I thank you. But she needs to get out this forest." He beckoned.
Sasha came in, uncertain about how to act. Never before had she done something as unorthodox as this, coming into a...a 'friend's' room to ask for advice.
Looking around, she found no one. Confused, Sasha called out again, "Where are you, Eos?"
She'd better not be hiding to scare me or something...or avoiding me...What I"m about to ask would make me look like a fool otherwise.
"This is important..." her voice trailed off, as Sasha scanned the room again.
Upon hearing her voice again she realized that she was hidden, "Oh! Apologies, love~." Her speech emanating that lovely British charm. Popping her head out from under the bed she crawled out and came to her feet - brushing off her dress. (She didn't even explain why she was under there, which made it all the stranger)
"Important?" She was a little shocked that Sasha would trust her with something important, but the thought warmed her heart. Eos' perky eyes blinked as she looked up at her, "What can I do for you?"
Enzo and Enki made their way back into the hardened school. Even though everything was different, Enzo still knew his way around. They couldn't have done too much, right? Enzo and Enki found themselves heading to the library. "The library?" Enki repeated out of curiosity. "Yeah, there is a book I found in the G-.. at your place that had a story similar to what situation we're in." Enzo explained, and in no time, they had entered the library. It was alot larger then he imagined, and he wondered how it even fit into the building, there was even a second floor catwalk going around the edges of the room. Aisles of shelves, filled with books, both on magic, and stories.
Enzo and Enki split up at this point, Enki seemingly interested in what history the real world had. Enzo walked down a few of the aisles, looking at anything starting with the letter 'T'. Eventually, Enzo found The Lady and The Book. And this version had an actual cover, with a woman's face on it.
So this is Aries...
The girl seemed rather embarrassed about whatever she was going to ask. Scratching the back of her neck, Sasha averted her gaze, thinking this over and over again. Was she really ready to ask this..this kind of...girly question?
"Am...Am I really that masculine, d'ya think?" The words finally slipped themselves out of Sasha's lips, and immediately, she felt regret at speaking them, but continued, "You seem to know a lot about this kinda stuff...would you mind teaching me?"
Almost immediately after the question, Eos burst into a fit of giggly laughter. "Hehe, good one Sasha~!" But, her laughter began to calm as she became aware that Eos was the only one laughing. "Oh... uhm..." She wavered and looked from left to right, feeling like perhaps the question was a loaded one, and the wrong answer would get her in trouble.
After a few moments of deliberating, the blonde answered reluctantly - figuring the truth was the best way to go about answering. "Well, yeah... but that isn't really... a bad thing." Playing with a strand of her hair she looked her over, "Teach you? Like, how to be lady-like?"
The laughing irked Sasha a little bit, was it really that funny? She'd never grown too self conscious of her behavior, and usually stuck it in the back of her mind. Only recently did Sasha realize that she did behave a little bit...on the masculine side.
She sighed, "I suppose so, but I guess...Y'know, since I'm a girl and all..."
Sasha nodded, "Yeah, ladylike, that's it. I just kinda...wanna experience it, or something."
Artur tugs on Silver's arm relentlessly.
"Miss please you need proper medica-"
A man of most unearthly presence jumps out from a cradle of trees. From his attire and face, straight to his attitude sends Artur reeling back in shock.
"OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH," Artur yelps as he falls on his butt. "PLEASE DON'T HIT ME! I'M A DOCTOR! MY BONES ARE FRAGILE!" He raises his arms in front of his face defensively.
He made a annoyed growl and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I'm not going to hurt you." He takes his hood off and moves the hair out his face. "I'm a friend of Silver's and I'm..a little worked up seeing her like this. Is it possible for us to get her to a safer place, soon?"
His arms lower and he cautiously speaks. "I-I am a medic, I need ... I need to get her to a secured facility so I can further inspect her wounds. The worst is over." He indicates to her leg.
Artur rises and back away from Silver and the man.
'He's still scary..' He mutters in his mind.
Silver glanced between Voltaire and Artur, sighing. "Do I get a say in this at all? I'd really just like to be left alone," she whined.
Remember what I told you~ His voice rang in her mind. He was still nearby, and probably watching her. Her face grew pale. "Fine, fine, take me, come on, let's go. We don't have much time to waste here.."
He picked Silver up off the ground and held her up. He remembered the forest well, the school shouldn't be too far away. But that bothered him a bit, her being so injured and so close to the school. No one would've gathered she's gone and come to find her? Especially with the new regime in play. He put that thought to the back of his mind and started walking towards the direction of the school. Wasn't hard to find, with its size and all. "My name is Volitaire, if you hadn't heard Silver already..." He exhaled a large but quite breath. First impressions wasn't a strength of his.
A librarian, and staff of the school, walked over to Enzo, who was nearly overjoyed when he saw a more recent version of the book. The man was bulky, and well built, despite being a librarian. It was obvious he was in a war of some kind. "Are you going to borrow that?" He asked. His deep voice caught Enzo off guard, and he nearly jumped. "Y-yeah, just for a day." He replied. "That's $25." "$25?! Just to rent the book for a day?!" "Take it or leave it."
Enzo sighed, and reached into his pockets. He was lucky to remember to bring with him his money. He took it everywhere. He handed the librarian $25. It felt like he was selling his soul to the devil. The librarian scoffed and walked off. I remember a librarian generally being nicer... Enzo shrugged, and carried the book with him over to the entrance. There, Enki stood. "Find what you needed, Sky?" Enzo nodded, showing him the book's cover. Enki's eyes opened like blinds on a window. "A-aries!" He stuttered. "Is that what she looked like?" "I don't know, but i'm going to read it once we get back to the dorm. It's getting pretty late, after all."
7:30PM
Artur stands awkwardly while the two leave. It takes him a moment to realize that the creepy man is talking to him.
"Oh! Wait for me! We're going to the school right?" Artur trots behind them and keeps his distance. He wrings his hands occasionally from all the stress of the day.
Volitaire, that's a weird name.
"Careful around her torso it's really bad!"
