I looked at her with a smile,"You know... i remember the last storm that came through here..."I teased.
I giggled and blushed, looking down shyly. That had to be the best night ever. "I remember too.."
I laughed softly,"It was what started the whole thing..."
I nodded. "Yeah.. Even though I hate hurricanes... I'm glad it happened." I said with a small smile.
I laughed gently,"I don't think anyone likes hurricanes. "
I smiled. "True.." I chuckled and shivered as I felt a sudden just of cold air. I stood up and grabbe her hand. "Come on. Don't wanna get caught in a storm."
I smiled,"Okay,"I said with a nod, walking with her towards the dorm.
When we got to the college, the campus was under storm watch which means everyone has to stay in their dorms. When we got to the dorm I closed and locked the door and turned on the news.
I sat down on our bed, pulling off my shoes, watching the tv.
It was going to be a pretty bad hurricane. I sighed and shook my head, changing into pajamas.
"It'll be okay, baby. Remember, we were alright in the last one,'I said with a smile.
I nodded in a silent agreement and lit candles around the room in case the electricity goes out. I changed the blankets to heavier ones because it'll get much colder.
I rubbed her back gently and smiled,"It'll be okay."
I nodded and laid down, pulling her with me. "I know." I whispered.
I kissed her forehead gently, smiling.
I held her close and kissed her cheek. A few hours later the storm was way worse. The electricity went out and it got really cold really fast.
I pulled her close, pulling the blankets a bit tighter around our bodies,"How are you holding up, hon?"
I looked up at her and sighed. "I'm fine." I whispered, laying my head on her shoulder.
I ran my fingers through her hair softly and kissed her forehead.
(Brb! Gotta wash dishes)
I flinched at the wind and thunder every once in a while, but other than that, I was holding up well. It was freezing though.
I pulled the covers over our head and held her tightly, shivering gently.
I rubbed her arms gently, trying to keep her warm as well. "Damn, it's colder then last time.." I muttered.
"I know... I'm going to grab another blanket,"I said sliding out from under the sheets. I grabbed the sheets she had taken from our bed earlier, and the sound of breaking glass shattered in my ears. I didn't feel the pain until a few second later, and I looked down at the shards of glass and wood in my arm and stomach.
I heard the crash and looked up to see that the window had busted. I got up and rushed over to Broady, grabbing her. "Oh my god Broady are you okay?" I almost fainted when I saw the blood. I pulled her into the bathroom and slipped her shirt off, gently pulling the wood and glass from her arms and stomach. I grabbed a towel and pressed it against her wounds gently.
I was trying to breath straight, but I still felt like I was gasping for air. I looked down at the towel in her hand, the purple quickly becoming black with blood. I put my hands over hers, looking up at her face,"I-I'm okay..."
"N-No you're not.." I whispered. I got up quickly and opened the door, looking outside. The storm was too crazy. I grabbed my phone. No service. "God damn it, I didn't come from a doctor's family!" I said, frustrated. I grabbed one of my dresses and ripped it. I walked back to the bathroom and tied it around her wounds tightly, trying to slow the bleeding. "You're going to be okay.." I whispered shakily.
"I kn-know... I-I-I will be,"I said, shaking violently in her arms as the floor began to pool in red as well.
"I'll get help I promise.." I whispered, tears streaming down my cheeks. I got up and ran into the hallway, banging on everyone doors. "SOMEONE HELP!" I screamed. Some people started to come out in alarm. "I need a doctor!" Several people who are studying to be a doctor grabbed their first aid kits and followed me to the bathroom where they began to work on Broady the best they could.
The small dorm room aid kits could only do so much, and I continued to fall in and out of consciousness. When the storm was over, I could only sense small things, like being carried and taken to the hospital.
I rode in the ambulance with her but they wouldn't let me in the room. I waited in the waiting room, my head in my hands, my heart pounding with fear. She has to be okay.
