I sat in my room, looking out the window, my fingers touching my lips absentmindedly. They were still tingling. My heart was still racing. I couldn't stop thinking about how perfect that kiss was. I never would've had the courage to do that when I was a pimply awkward freshman.
I had a part time job, and with that money I bought me a nice little car, a black 1965 mustang. I grabbed my keys and I walked outside and to my car. I had to do this right if I wanted more out of this friendship. I headed to the nearest flower shop, and I got purple roses, and I also got some nice chocolates from the best place in town.
I vaguely wondered where he went, but I wasn't too concerned. I went down to the kitchen and began to make bacon.
When home, I walked in, holding the stuff behind my back. "Astoria..." I said, and walked into the kitchen, bacon hitting me. Oh lordy.. "Hey.. dont laugh at me if its really cheesy." I said, pulling she roses and chocolate out from behind my back. "Astoria.. will you be my girlfriend?... and go out to dinner with me?"
I giggled and clapped my hand over my mouth. I turned the stove off and I walked over to him. "Of course." I answered, heat rising to my cheeks.
I smiled, the happiest and truest smile I've ever done in my life. I handed her the items, and I kissed her forehead gently. "Thank you..." I said softly..
I looked up at him and smiled. "You were never in the friendzone.. I thought I was." I whispered.
"Never." I said softly. I opened the cupboard and I pulled a vase out and set it on the counter for her flowers.
I smiled and put water in the vase, then I put the flowers in them. "I didn't realize it until you got with Ashley, so I couldn't do anything about it.."
"I.. dont want to talk about Ashley." I said softly. She was a huge mistake, and thankfully, earned her 'whore of the school' title by me and everyone else.
I sighed and put the chocolates in the refrigerator, and I put the bacon on a plate and handed it to him.
"Thank you." I said softly, not liking how serious she looked. "Hey.. how about some xbox after breakfast?"
I smiled slightly. "Yeah." I answered. We sat down and ate our bacon, then I went upstairs and brushed my teeth, then I came back down and sat on the couch.
After, I went and brushed my teeth also, and I sat down on the couch, and I leaned over, purposely pushing her off. "Excuse me miss, my couch." I said obnoxiously, clearly in the mood to mess around, and wrestle a bit.
I rose an eyebrow and I got up from the floor. "Excuse me, whose house is this?" I asked, slowly straddling his lap. I grabbed his hands and pinned them to the back of the couch. "Hmm?"
"Its .. partially mine." I said, sticking my tongue out at her. I then got my wrists free and I grabbed her waist and I set her on the couch, and I was on top of her now, straddling her, and pinning her wrists down.
"Now what?"
I struggled slightly and I smiled up at him. "You asshole." I said, biting my bottom lip.
"I know." I said, and I watched her bite her lip, boy did I want to do the same. "Fine." I said, and I let her go, and I leaned back onto the arm of the couch on the other side. I stuck my tongue at her.
I chuckled and sat up, pushing my wild hair from my face. "Thank you." I said, watching him for a moment. Then I shot forwards and pushed him off the couch. "Ha!"
I grunted when she pushed me off, and I sighed, laying there on the ground. "I liked the ground better anyway." I said, putting my hands behind my head. "So, xbox or nah?"
I laughed and grabbed the controllers, throwing one at him. "You're on."
"Ow.." I said, and I sat up, leaning against the couch. we played a few rounds and guess who won all of them, me! "HAH!" I yelled at her, what now!
"Fuck you!" I yelled, throwing the controller down. I'm a bit of a rager when it comes to video games.
"HeyHey.." I said softly. "Calm down." I said, sitting by her now. "Its not my fault you suck."
I gasped and punched his arm. "You're so mean!"
"Ouch!" I said. "Im not voilent." I said, sticking my tongue out at her. "Loosen up, its just a game." I said, and I kissed her neck sweetly.
I smiled and gently ran my fingers through his hair. "You know there's no stopping my raging when I'm in gamer mode."
"I think I just did." I said, chuckling against her skin. "How about a game thats hard to rage in, minecraft?"
I giggled. "I don't rage in Minecraft, I just get really evil and burn down the villages."
