I was just chilling in the corner of the coffee shop, and. Looked up, seeing Winter, and a man, and the manager of the shop. It must be her dad, the othet man. Considering the resemblance. When her and I met eyes, I looked down slowly, my cheeks burning a bit. Not just from the bruise on the side of my face.
-
I shot a warm smile at Kian. "That's him, dad." I whispered. My dad looked up and smiled at him. "What happened to him?" He asked. I shrugged and ordered a hot chocolate. "He doesn't talk so he hasn't told me." I walked over to the table and I smiled at Kian. "Hi." I sat down and looked into his eyes. "Are you okay?"
-
I looked up as I heard her coming. I smiled at her, then I nodded at her question. "How are you?" I mouthed, and I took a drink of my iced coffee. My only true heaven on this earth. Well, both this and her.. wait, that was weird. I just met her. She is really beautiful.. and actually caring.
-
"I'm good." I answered, tentatively taking a sip of my hot chocolate. I set it to the side and looked into his eyes. "What really happened to you?" I whispered.
-
I sighed, and I took my phone out. I just had to tell her. I typed 'Jason, he pushed me down and hit me in the hallway a couple times. He said I should keep my distance from you, since youre going to be 'his' as he puts it.' I typed, sliding my phone over to her, I took a drink of my coffee as she read it..
-
I frowned, and my face screwed up in a death glare at his phone. I've been told that I can be terrifying when I'm angry. "I am not an object. Why can't people get that?" I hissed, more to myself than to him. I had a lot of problems at my old school with guys trying to own me and stuff..
-
I gave her a concerned look, I knew that the look wasnt directed towards me. I was glad, but Jason better watch himself now. "Dont say I told you." I mouthed when she looked at me. I gently touched her hand, I didnt like her looking so angry. I just liked the caring look that she normally had.
(Aah.. staying home again today :c but my grandma is having her surgery as we speak, im so scared..)
-
((Just remain calm, and everything will be okay.))
I jumped slightly when he touched my hand, because I wasn't expecting it, but I quickly relaxed and smiled at him gently. "I won't tell him anything." I promised.
-
I sighed softly, a bit of relief in it. I then nodded, and slid my phone back over to myself. "Do you like cookies?" I mouthed. "My grandma made a whole bunch." I added. "I need help eating them." I looked up at her, smiling slightly.
-
I smiled and nodded. "Sure." I replied. I went and asked my dad, then my dad went and introduced himself to him.
-
I stood when her dad came, and I shook his hand, and moithed my name. Even though he probably already knew my name. When he said she could go, I smiled, and gave him a 'thank you' gesture then we were on our way. I only lived up the block, not too bad.
-
I walked with him, looking around. "It's really pretty here." I commented. It was a little strange with just me talking, but it was oddly comfortable.
-
I nodded, smiling. I had to think of a better way to talk to her. Or she may just get bored with me.. I sighed softly as we approached my porch. "Kathy." I mouthed, indicating that was my Grandmas name. When we walked in she greeted us right away. "Oh hello! Kian is this the lovley girl you told me about? Youre right, she is beautiful! Come in." I blushed. Oh Grandma.. I stepped in, smiling as she did so also.
-
Annabelle smiled and shook her hand. "Hello. I'm Winter Jones." I said politely,, and I blusher at her comment.
-
"Oh dear its great to meet you. I assume he invited you over for cookies? I just made a batch this afternoon, follow me." She said, and I smiled, and followed behind the two. She gave us two plates of cookies and some milk. "Now dears, im going to go to the store, Kian, let me know if you need anything okay?" She said her goodbyes and she was gone. I chuckled when she left, shaking my head.
-
I smiled and took a bite of a cookie. It's delicious! I grinned at Kian. "Your grandmother is a lovely woman."
-
I smiled, and I nodded. I got up and grabbed the whiteboard off the fridge and set it between us. "She is, ive lived with her for three years now." I wrote.
-
"What about your parents? " I asked, taking another bite of a cookie.
-
I froze. Crap. I quickly shook my head, and looked down. I wrote; "ill tell you.. another time." The letters looked a bit shaky, and I took a deep breath and I took a drink of the milk. Calm down.
-
"I'm sorry.. I can be nosy sometimes. I didn't mean to upset you." I said quickly, feeling very bad.
-
"Nono, youre fine. You didnt know." I quickly wrote, looking up at her and smiling. "I promise ill tell you another time." I added to the board.
-
"Well, okay." I answered, smiling gently at him.
-
"Im sorry if im boring you. This is normally how I lose friends. They juat get bored of me." I wrote, taking a bite of my cookie.
-
"You're not boring me." I said with a smile. "I think you're very interesting."
-
I looked up at her, tilting my head a bit. "Really?" I mouthed. I've never heard that before. I glanced outside, to see snow falling. I quickly got up and opened the window, everything outside was beginning to cover in a light fuz.
-
I smiled. "Really." I confirmed. I looked out the window and grinned. "Oh, I love the snow! "
((I'll be back in about 2 hours!))
-
I chuckled, and I nodded. "Me too.." I mouthed. "Hopefully no school tomorrow." I added, and I quickly opened the door and ran out.

(Okay! Ill be here.)
-
I chuckled and followed him, looking up at the sky. I caught a snowflake on my tongue and giggled.
-
I smiled when she did that. I dragged my hand across the ground, and made a baby snowball. I threw it at her, chuckling when it hit her leg.
-
I gasped at the sudden coldness. I laughed and made a baby snowball as well. I chucked it at him and laughed when it hit his chest.
