Stop and Stare

I smiled and kissed her back gently, resting my hands on her cheeks.

I smiled and sighed, getting up onto my feet,"Oh boy..."

I looked up at her. "What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Just kind of feeling weird,"I said softly.

I sat up and stood up, grabbing a robe and putting it on. I tied it around in the front and I looked at her. "Do you need to go to the doctor?" I asked.

"No... I think I just need to get some food... I haven't eaten for a day,"I said with a sigh.

I nodded. "Okay.. What are you in the mood for?" I asked.

"Something soft.. I feel kind of sick,"I said gently, rubbing my eyes.

I got dressed and placed my hand on her forehead. "You should lay down.. I'll go get you something.. Okay?"

"No... No, some bloodflow would be good. I can't hide in bed all the time,"I said gently.

I sighed and nodded. "Okay... Where do you want to go?" I asked.

"Let's just go down to the lounge, okay?"I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Alright." I answered with a nod. I took her hand and we made our way to the lounge. It was pretty cold outside, an aftermath of the hurricane.

I walked down with her, holding her hand. I sighed softly and made my way to the food stand, ighing.

"See anything you want?" I asked softly. I just got a burger and some fries.

I sighed and grabbed a bagel,"This will do,"I said gently.

"Okay.. I'll pay for you." I paid for our food and we sat down. I picked at my fries, looking around.

I took a nibble out of my bagel and sighed, shaking my head.

I glanced at her. "What's wrong baby?" I asked.

"Just the medication... I feel a bit goofy,"I said gently, sighing.

I frowned and took a bite of my burger. "Then when we get back to the dorm you should really get some sleep.."

"I guess,"I said softly, sighing.

When we were done, I took her hand gently. "You ready?" I asked.

"Yeah,"I said, rolling my lips gently.

I pulled her up and we walked back to the dorm. "Do you need some water?" I asked when we walked inside.

"Yes, please,"I said gently, shaking my head.

I got a cup and I poured her some water. I sat her down and handed her her water, touching her forehead. "You're a little warm.."

"Am I?"I asked, raising an eyebrow.

I nodded. "A little bit.. You need to get some sleep baby.."

"But... No,"I said gently, resting against her.

"Why not?" I asked, holding her close.

"I don't want to,"I said quietly.

"Why?" I asked, frowning slightly.
