The Knight.

I laughed. "Alright. Let's go dress warmer then." I said, patting his head. I got up and went to the bedroom, changing into a long sleeved tshirt, boots and a jacket.

I got dressed in a few layers and I put my favorite Seahawks beanie on and grabbed some gloves and I waited for her to come down by the door.

I walked down and grabbed his gloved hand, pulling him outside. It was cold, but not too bad. The snow made everything so beautiful.

"Youre going down Sweetheart.." I said, kissing her before running off and making a couple snowballs.

I giggled and went to the other side of the lawn, by the edge of the woods. I started to make a collection of snowballs. I was really quick at it. I grew up in snow!

I only had about four, and I ran at her, amd threw a couple, one hitting her in the shoulder, and the other in the chest, I chuckled and ran back

I grabbed some of my snowballs and chucked them at him. One hitting him in the stomach and the other one in the side of the head. I felt like a little kid. But it's a nice change.

I stood with my mouth open. "Youre gonna get it!" I said running at her and hugging her from behind and spinning her around, and I began to tickle her, and we both fell back onto the snowy ground

I gasped in surprise and began to laugh hysterically as he tickled me. I rolled over so I was straddling him and I pinned his hands to the ground. "Pinned ya." I said mischievously. I leaned down and kissed him softly.

I chuckled, and I kissed her back, and I rolled over, so I pinned her. "Hah.. Guess what?" I asked, and I grabbed a hand full of snow, and let it fall on her face as I jumped up and ran

I gasped at the sudden cold and I got up, wiping my face off. I ran after him and then jumped on his back, only to find that my weight didn't affect him at all. "Awh come on!" I groaned.

I chuckled, and grabbed her legs so it was a piggy back ride. "Gotcha babe." I said, then dropped her, and faced her, laughing. Glad there was no one around, just us for miles around.

I got up and dusted the snow off of myself, shaking my head at him. "You're being mean today!"

I sighed, and pulled her close. "Oh no. You know I love you." I said, placing kisses all over her cold face in a silly fashion.

I giggled and scrunched up my nose. "I love you too." I replied. I suddenly bent down and grabbed a handful of snow, dropping it inside his shirt. "Gotcha!" I said as I ran away.

"Ooh! ColdColdCold!" I said as I shook the snow from my shirt. That was cruel. I grabbed some snow and ran after her and once i caught her I stuck some down the back of her shirt.

I gasped and grabbed the hem of my shirt, shaking it so some of the snow fell out. I stuck my tongue out at him. "I'm gonna go make hot chocolate. You want some?" I asked.

I chuckled and nodded, I ran up to the door and inside so she couldn't get me with more snow. I put wood into the fireplace and sat in front of it and began to warm up.

I made us a mug of hot chocolate and sat next to him by the fire, handing him his. I took a sip and closed my eyes as the warmth spread over me.

I took a big drink, regretting it because it was very hot, but warmed me up quick. "Wow. Hot." I said, taking a breath. I took my jacket off, an then my second one, now just in my shirt and pants. I looked up as the power went out, most likely from the storm closing in. "Shit."

"I'm glad we came in when we did.." I said softly. At least we still had light from the fire. "I'll go light candles." I got up and lit candles in every room for light.

"Careful." I told her as she walked away. It was about 5 o clock, and it was starting to get darker and darker outside.

I managed to light all the candles and I fell down the stairs, but I only scraped my knee. I sat on the couch and rubbed it, closing my eyes and listening to the storm outside.

I jumped up once I heard her fall, and I helped her to the couch, "Are you okay?" I asked, and sat beside her, putting my hand on hers over her knee

I nodded and opened my eyes to look at him. "Yeah, I'm alright. Just scraped my knee." I said with a small reassuring smile.

I nodded. "Okay." I said, and I kissed her softly. I glanced down at her ring, and smiled. "So. The wedding. After all this crap," I said, taking my hat off. "We will get married, right?"

"Well duh!" I said with a grin, snuggling close to him. "It's gonna be great." I whispered.

"Well just checking." I said, smiling. I wrapped my arms around her and held her close to me, the couches were comfy, and big so we could both easily fall asleep here.

I closed my eyes and rested my head on his chest. "I love you." I whispered.

"And I love you.." I said softly, and I kissed the top of her head, I closed my eyes, really tired. Both from the chemo and the running around outsodeu
