Enzo looked back and fourth between Maya and Ryuu. "Telepathic connection? Like, you can hear each others thoughts?" He asked. A bond between human and anim-.. beast? seemed amazing to Enzo. He had only saw things like this in Disney movies, and such. "You must have some strong mental power..." Enzo wondered if Maya would be able to mind control people at some point in the future.
Maya crossed her arms and shook her head. "Telepathic connection meaning I command him to do whatever I want. He doesn't really have thoughts of his own beyond 'hungry' or 'thirsty.'" Ryuu took one last look before padding off into the woods. He was very hungry at that point. "Though, really... I see what he sees and he sees what I see. I have double the mental power to work with now." She smiled.
Enzo looked down. "I see...." I wish I had the power to use my flames the way I wanted them to. He looked back up to Maya. "Are you going to prom?" He asked her.
Maya was surprised by the sudden question. She paused and wondered if she was going. "Umm, I don't know. I've never been to any school dances, but there's no way I'd go alone." Her cheeks slightly reddened with embarassment. "And I don't think anyone's going to ask me." She sighed as she sat down under a nearby tree, no longer looking at Enzo.
So endorsed in his reading he hadn't noticed his clothes were done. He picked up his freshly cleaned outfit and donned it on his way back out. He planned to do his regular. Go see Enzo and company. Taking flight, once again, he fluttered over to Sorcerers. He had a bored yawn, reading for so long sometimes made other things look sleepily plain. He found a better world inside a good book or two. On his way to the door he found a flyer for "Prom". Volitaire made a long sigh. "Hopefully, people will know I'm not from here...but then why would I go in?" He began to think about his place in Sorcerers. He wasn't a student but he was welcomed as if he was one. This was his only place of leisure outside reading. He shrugged his shoulders and kept his head down and entered the school.
"Are you kidding?" Enzo said, surprised. "There are a lot of guys in Sorcerers who would love to ask you out to prom!" Maya seemed sad at that. The prom wasn't something to joke around about. If you were popular, but weren't seen at prom, everyone would know your failure. "If anything, it's me that wouldn't get asked out, I mean, everyone pretty much hates me!"
As they weren't far from the school, Maya noticed Volitaire's arrival. She sighed and looked back at Enzo. "You're my only real friend that's a guy. Otherwise, no one really knows who I am." She curled her arms around her knees, as this subject had never been brought up with her before. She chuckled. "I don't think even Kenji would take me. You, on the other hand, have many loving and caring friends, some of which are females who wouldn't mind taking you. You're supposed to do the asking, though." She chuckled again.
"I would love to take you out to prom." Kenji's voice appeared out of a nearby bush. He popped out of it. "And i'll use my true form while i'm at it." "Kenji?! Were you spying on us?" "No, I was carefully observing, it's different."
Maya nodded and smiled. "I am here for my sensing abilities, you know." She stood up triumphantly and looked at Enzo. "Of course he followed you after the fight." She looked back at Kenji. "I didn't realize you were listening in so much, though." She went and gave Kenji a hug. "Would you really take me? I've always wanted to go to a school dance."
She reached her room again. Sasha kicked at the fluffy dress that was on the ground, and it slid across the room as she fell back onto her bed.
"..."
She was bored. Sasha groaned, " Ugh. Now that I think about it, I need some idiot to -ask- me, don't I? Screw it..."
She rolled over, and flopped onto her stomach. Sasha's fingers reached forwards, and she pulled out a vial of water from under her pillow. It was 'healing water,' holy water that would help her heal when she was hurt. Sasha let the water fall out, and quick as lightning, Sasha snatched it up with a movement of her finger before it fell onto the ground, having it form a ball in her palm. She flipped up again, slipping out of her clothing until she was only in a blue tank top, and began to move the water over her wounds, starting on her arms.
" Tch..." the girl winced; sure, she was strong, but she wasn't impervious to pain.
"It DOES take quite the gentleman to ask out a lady." Kenji smirked. Enzo rolled his eyes. Gentleman? If anything, you're a troll, Kenji.
4:00PM. At this time, all of the students are either getting dressed up, or are doing some last minute shopping, as Prom Night begins in three hours.
Volitaire walked over to the dorms and knocked on Enzo's door, only to find no one was home. He again sighed and went back down to the Main Hall. Not finding his friend left him a little discouraged. He needed something to lift his mood. Not paying attention to the students asking others to prom and people scurrying in their outfits looking for criticism or to simply make themselves feel good he would occasionally ignore people who did ask him. He felt like a ass but he didn't want to look weird and say "I don't go here" which would raise whatever suspicion of his presence that's already there. He thought maybe he should leave. He didn't want to scale the massive place just to find Enzo. Quickly making pace towards the front doors he left the school and buttoned his jacket up, it was getting quite chilly outside.
"I guess we better start getting ready, then. Can't hang out here forever." She smiled and lightly gestured for them to follow as she began walking back. Maya paused before speaking again, her pace quickening. "I think Volitaire is here. We should go see him." She awkwardly pushed her hair back and tied it in a bun as she walked. She was suddenly very nervous about the dance.
Enki had been in the school for a while. His mind and his feelings were in conflict. He felt the urge to kill his friends, but he didn't want to make Enzo, his best friend, mad. He sat on the bench outside the entrance to Sorcerers, when he caught sight of Silver. Now, he felt bad. He didn't want to kill anyone. He wanted to experience what Enzo could aswell. He stood up, and walked over to her. "Hey, are you.. Silver Nagano..?"
By now, Enzo, Maya, and Kenji had Volitaire in their sights. "Voli!" Enzo shouted, waving him over.
Stopping from hearing his name he turned around and saw him and Maya together. He figured they must be hitting it off. He was actually proud of Enzo if what he saw was true. But he kept silent and walked over. "Hey." He said blandly.
She had finished healing her arms; there were only a few cuts visible. Sasha moved on to her face, where there were at least five cuts on her left cheek. She grimaced again, " Shoulda been more careful..."
Five minutes later, Sasha had completed the healing process, though her left eye hurt something fierce. " There's no helping it then," she muttered, slowly reaching behind her back and pulling off the patch, " S'not like people're just gonna barge into my room to make fun o' me or something."
She opened her left eye, " I still need to get used to seeing in red."
There wasn't a scar on her eye. Instead, there was a mark in Sasha's eye. The red iris blatantly glowed, and the curving mark that swirled from her pupil moved in a spiral like pattern, almost hypnotizing.
Sasha sighed, moving the water over to the side of that eye, and healed the cut.
"...Brother..." the words fell from her lips before she could catch them.
Silver looked up to see the redheaded boy looking at her, asking her about her name. She stared at him for a moment before speaking. "Yes, do I know you?.." She was confused as to why he was speaking to her. Wasn't he a friend of Enzo's?
"..My name.. is Enki.. and, um.." Enki looked around, to see if anyone would hear what he was about to say.

"Will you be my prom date?"
Enzo grinned when he saw his buddy. "What's up?" He realized he had just come from the dorm building. "Oh, you were in the dorms? Were you looking for me?" He asked him.
"Eh?.." Silver blinked a few times. "Me? Are you sure you want to ask me?" She felt her face get a bit warm, and stared at his bright red eyes in disbelief. Perhaps it was a joke?
"Y-..yes, i'm sure." He said. He had barely known her, but he wasn't sure how people usually asked each other out. He'd rather go for it then watch someone else ask her.
Maya smiled, happy to see Volitaire. "Hey you." She hummed and alternated between standing on her toes and on her heels. "And are you going to the dance, sir?" She followed Enzo's questions. She was a bit nervous still, and backed up a bit to where she was closer to Enzo and Kenji.
"S-Sure, then? I don't see why not.." She smiled a little and tried to hide her excitement, but she was still confused as to why he was asking her.
He nodded while looking to his side. "Have a date yet? This prom thing is a hassle it seems." Volitaire never thought of courting as something worth it or fun. It looked like a lot of wasted money and stress on making yourself look more attractive to your significant other so you could better enjoy yourselves. Even the stress of being rejected after working up so much of a nerve just to ask, and all the preparing? Nonsense. He didn't want to spoil Enzo's joy further, so he kept all these personal thoughts to himself. "I'm avoiding being a total killjoy. Be happy. I'm really only here because I just needed my mood to be lifted. But all this tension in the air is making my shoulders stiff. I do hope you get some good luck."
"Hah, no date yet." Enzo said, lightheartedly. Even if it sounded like he didn't care much, Enzo really hoped he could find a girl to ask. Man.. It's nearly time for Prom Night.. Asking someone out to prom isn't like really asking them out on a date or anything.. right? Enzo sighed.
"Cool, can we go now?" Enki asked Silver. It felt like a load had been taken off Enki's shoulders. He could finally feel what it was like to dance with a girl, and to attend prom.
Volitaire turned to Maya. "So Maya's not your date? Aw, well that's too bad. I do doubt I could get a date. I don't go to your school. Eh, well..how's JD and Eos doing? They seems a bit bothered from last nights events."
Eos had been making her way around the school, checking everywhere she could to find him. She had managed to finish her dress earlier while she relaxed and talked with JD, but wore a red pea coat that covered it fully. "Where could he be?" It seemed that every spot she thought he would be in, he was far from it.
Finally, she decided to walk out front - not just to see if he was there, but to feel the cool air on her face after running around like that. After exiting through the front doors, she could hear his voice, along with another familiar one. Eos wasn't sure why, but it caused her to stop and hide behind the pillar, once again eavesdropping on a conversation she wasn't apart of.
Overhearing him talk like that took all the excitement she previously had and made her heart sink. If he really felt that way, there was no chance he would agree to go with her. Her body fell back against the pillar and she let out a defeated sigh - until she heard him speak her name.
It made her blush a deep red, and she felt instantly guilty that she was listening in.
Maya shook her head. "Kenji agreed to take me." She looked at Kenji, Enzo, and then back to Volitaire. "I don't know about JD, but hey, maybe--" Maya picked up on the familiar aura that was Eos. Maya leaned in, as she realized Eos was listening in. "Maybe you should go ask Eos. I'm sure it'd cheer her up." She whispered, a bright smile appearing on her face again.
Volitaire tilted his head. "Someone's a bloodhound...Jesus...and cheer her up? I really do hope I didn't do anything to upset her yesterday. But I'll do what I shall, it's the least I can do. Umm..where exactly is she?" Volitaire looked about, his focus on magic wasn't as strong today. Everything was too peaceful.
When those words hit her ear, she nearly froze. Suddenly her heart was beating a mile a minute and it felt like she could barely breathe. What if he was only being nice to her in person, and was going to tell everyone he thought she was weird?! That was it - she had to run away. She couldn't listen in anymore! But as she went to move, a group of students walked out of the school, blocking her escape.
Oh no....
Maya pointed directly at Eos, extending her arm in full for dramatic effect. "Right there." She staid stolidly, not looking away from Volitaire to point.
