Childhood Friends Turn Into Sweethearts?

"Its.. Fine.. What's done is done." I said, heading I to the kitchen, grabbing a beer from the fridge, taking a drink. The bitter tasting liquid made me shiver for a spit second,

"No, it's not fine!" I said, getting up and following him. I frowned when I saw him drinking beer but I ignored it. Now I know how upset he is. "It's not that I don't want to date you, it's just that you've always been my best friend and I don't want to ruin anything! When I see you, I still see the little boy from kindergarten and I don't want those memories to go away." I sighed. "I also don't regret what we did."

"Well.. Maybe we could just try dating.. And if I'd don't work out, we could go back to being friends." I said, looking at her, I set the beer down, and sighed. "Just give me a chance.." I said.

I looked down at my feet and bit my lip, thinking. "Okay..." I said softly. I walked over to him and hugged him tightly. "I never even knew you liked me that way.." I whispered.

I had to think for a moment.. She said okay? I grinned, and when she hugged me, I wrapped my arms around her sweetly, my face going in the crook of her neck. "I always have.." I said, softly.

I rubbed his back gently and smiled. "Me too... I always have, even though I didn't realize it until a few days ago..." I whispered. I closed my eyes and sighed softly.

I let go of her slowly. And I looked into her eyes. "How about.. You an I go out to dinner, and start over?" I asked, maybe this would help..

I looked into hs eyes and nodded. "I would like that." I whispered. I kissed his cheek gently and smiled. Then I kissed him shyly. not a passionate, lustful kiss. Just a small sweet one.

I smiled at her, and I kissed her forehead. "Tonight?" I added, taking her hand, this was good.. I was happy that we could start this over, we had a rocky start, but we got through it,

I smed and nodded. "Yeah. Pick me up at 7." I said with a chuckle. I kissed his cheek before I turned and walked out of his apartment and went to my house to get ready.

I smiled when I saw her walk away, I checked the time, it was about three now. The rest of the time I spent getting ready and doing whatever. At about 6:45 I walked out to my car, making sure I looked alright in the mirror before driving off, pulling in front of the driveway, and getting out, and knocking on her door,

I was dressed in a nice little dress, nothing too much and my hair was curled. I had some light makeup on. I walked to the door and opened it. I grinned at him. "Hey there handsome." I hugged him gently.

I smiled at her, and I hugged her softly also. "hello, beautiful." I said, I took her hand slowly. "Shall we?" I asked, motioning towards the car with a swift goofy hand movement.

I grinned and nodded. "Yes, of course." We walked out to his car and I got in, buckling myself in. Soon we were at the restaurant and I smiled. My favorite restaurant.

Soon, we were at our table, already waiting for our food to arrive. I reached across the table, taking her hand sweetly. "So.. How have you been?" I asked her.

I grinned and looked down at our hands. "Pretty good since earlier when we made up... How about you?" I asked, looking up into his eyes.

I smiled, and nodded. "Well, same here." I said, and I looked into her eyes. "How about tomorrow night, we can have a movie night or something? You come over, you pick the movie and we just chillax?" I suggested.

I smiled and nodded. "That would be great." The food came and I took a bite of my spaghetti and breadsticks. "It's really good.." I commented softly with a cheesy grin.

I slowly let go of her hand as the food came along. I cut up my steak, and took a bite, nodding and agreeing with her. "Very good." I said.

After we were done eating, we got in the car and I leaned across the seat to kiss his cheek. "Thank you for tonight.." I said softly.

I smiled when I felt her lips on my cheek, and I looked at her. "you're very welcome.." I said, starting the car, and driving to her house.

I held his free hand while he drove and when we got there, I let him walk me to my door and I smiled, hugging him gently. "Thank you, again.." I said softly. I looked up into his eyes then I lightly pressed my lips to his. I'm not going to hurt him again.. I'm sure what I want now.

I kissed her back softly, and sweetly, my hands wrapping around her waist softlyt, and pulling into a hug after our lips seperated. "Goodnight, Tober.. I'll see you tomorrow.." I said, kissing her forehead, and going home.

I went inside and took a shower then went to bed. The next morning I took a quick shower, got dressed, then I went to my kitchen to fix some breakfast.

The next day, I hit the gym, working on cardio, abs , and lifting. Later I was going out with some friends at the field to okay some football.

I cleaned around the house a little bit, then I sat down and watched some TV. I decided to text Jake. 'Hey :) What's up?'

I stopped doing some laps, and I checked my phone. "Going HAM at the gym. You?" I sent,

'Nothing much, just chillin. :D' I replied. I looked up at the clock and sighed. I changed the channel and laid down, yawning softly.

"Want to come by later and watch me and the boys play football?'I sent, done at the gym now, and going home.

'Surree ;)' I replied. I grabbed my acoustic guitar and began to play a few chords. Guitar or piano or singing helps me when I'm down.
