JD pretty much crashed that night and slept through most of the morning only to find his rumbling stomach awakening him. Those silver eyes flicked around and he re-acclimated himself to his surroundings. There was a warmth to the room that his chilly bunk had clung to with all its’ might, there were drawers, there was a soft light, and most importantly there was door leading to a shower that he would abuse first thing.
So once he was fully cleaned and re-clothed he became aware of a notice stuck to his door. “Prom- what in the bloody hell? I’ve only been here a day and I didn’t bring a damn suit with me. Unfortunately I’m going to skip this one.” He remarked to no one but himself as he closed the door and made his way to the cafeteria- his stomach growling was top priority. “Prom- what am I going to do at a prom? Dance? But with whom? I think I made a bad decision there- making a plain ole arse of myself last night. Ah well no one is going to go with me anyway- all disheveled and what not.”
His ruminations turned inwards as he made his way to the cafeteria, scooped up some breakfast, and meandered to his sister’s dorm. JD learned quickly that boys weren’t allowed in the girl’s dorm considering all the incredulous glances that were being passed his way as he ate a muffin. “Good morning ladies.” He stated with a lazy grin and a mouth full of pastry. There was a chorus of hisses and explicatives as he did so, and that only hastened JD’s trip to his sister’s room. “E- open up- I think I’m about to get my eye clawed out.” He whispered into door as he tapped on it. “I brought a muffin.”
