Stop and Stare

"Oh, but I just woke up,"I said with a grin, shaking my head.

I laughed and turned on a small lamp so I could see her. I pulled the blankets over us and snuggled close to her.

I smiled, kissing the tip of her nose gently as we held one another close.

I rubbed her back gently and kissed her cheek. "I love you baby..." I whispered.

"I love you, too, Luna,"I said with a smile, running my hand down her arm to her fingertips, gently taking her hand in my own,"So I've been thinking... What do you want to do for Christmas?"

"Hmm... I don't know.. I haven't really planned that.. I was actually wondering if you would like to go to Ireland with me this Summer?" I asked, smiling at her.

I grinned,"I would love to... If we do that... Would you want to come home with me for Christmas?"

I sighed. "I would love to, but my family would really want me home for that holiday.. How about Spring Break?" I asked.

"I was hoping we could party... But, sure,"I said gently, nodding.

I frowned and held her closer. "I'm sorry baby.. I wish I could, but my family is really family oriented and they would never forgive me if I missed Christmas.." I whispered.

"That's fine,"I said gently, rubbing her back as I kissed her forehead.

I kissed her lips quickly and pulled back. "Okay.." I said softly.

I smiled and sighed,"I love you.."

"I love you too baby." I said softly. I shivered and leaned against her warm body.

I held her close,"You're cold?"

I nodded. "A little. You're so warm babe." I said with a grin.

I smiled and pulled the blankets around us a bit tighter,"Or you're cold..."

I chuckled and looked up into her eyes. "You're still warm no matter what."

I smiled and kissed her gently,"So, Ireland for the summer, huh?"

I smiled. "Yeah...I think you'll love it there.. It's very beautiful there.." I said softly.

I smiled gently and nodded,"I'm sure... And You'll be going home for Christmas, too?"

I smiled and nodded. "Yep..." I replied softly.

"How long?"I asked as I closed my eyes, enjoying our pillow talk.

"I'll probably come back a few days before Christmas Break is over.. Maybe a day after Christmas I'll come back." I said softly, glancing at her.

"Okay,"I said gently, relaxing into our bed.

"Why'd you ask?" I asked, looking over at her.

"Just gonna miss you,"I said gently, opening my eyes gently.

I frowned and kissed her jaw gently. "I'll miss you too baby.." I whispered.

I gave her a gentle smile, and sighed, turning onto my back. I didn't want her to know that I was staying here for Christmas... She would be fine.

I looked up at the ceiling and sighed. "What are you doing for Christmas?" I asked.
