The Coming Darkness

Enzo started to sweat a little. Talk about himself? He barely knows anything about his life before age 6. "Me? Well.. I was born and raised in Italy. I spent alot of time there with my Dad." Remembering his parents brought him back to the incident that caught Sorcerers' eye. He avoided talking about it like the plague. "I'm.. really bad with friends, and stuff like that. So all of this is new to me."

By now, they were exiting Sorcerers, and the night sky showcased hundreds of stars. Night skies like this, where you can view lots of distant stars, were rare where he came from. He took a break on explaining himself to look up at the sky. He felt differently about the sky then other people. He felt the sky had a soul. A soul he became friends with. When his other friendships end in horrible, embarrassing events, and when he is left alone, just the sight of the sky cheered him up, like a best friend telling you everything would be okay, despite the bad events.

Volitaire knew Enzo was hiding his curse. It made him worry a little knowing he was having a bit of trouble. So he began; "Actually, we should tell Eos how we met. That's possibly the only thing that holds some good significance to my life at least. Hopefully you remember?" He felt accomplished breaking some more ice and getting his friend out the little zone of discomfort and thought it would make for good conversation anyway.

"I don't really remember too much. I only remember some fighting." Enzo said with a hint of disappointment. Many of his memories were hazy and clouded. He sighed at that fact. He realized a building, with it's brightly lit sign saying "Wizard's treat" was open, and pretty crowded, too. He regonized some faces from his destruction class, and the students in general. One of them stood out like a sore thumb, though.

Getting a better look, Red was flexing his arms, showing them off to a group of teenage girls. Obviously, they responded with amazed giggles, and uncontrollable smiling.

Eos walked happily between the two boys that were chatting around her. "Well I'm not surprised you are a descendent of book worms..." She mused back on when he refused to pull his eyes from the novel he was reading earlier, but then she suddenly caught on to what he had so casually glazed over. His parents weren't alive? She immediately felt compelled to tell him of her past - but realized now wasn't the best time or setting.

Instead she let her stare settle on him, her expression a mixture of sadness and worry - but it was apparent that he didn't want to discuss it further so she tried to shake it off and look over at Enzo. "Italy? Wow! I've always wanted to visit there, like most romantics do~." She ended with a giggle, patting him on the shoulder. "You can't possibly be bad with friends, you are doing just fine here with me." She pointed to Volitaire, "And he seems to like you enough, so there! You already have more friends here than I do!" Another laugh escaped her as they came upon the eatery. "You two are a riot, like an old couple that can't remember their anniversary." Winking at them she took a step inside and cocked her head at the gawky male amidst a sea of excited girls. "Who's that guy?" She asked, unimpressed.

Maya was across from Red, outside of the huddle of girls, watching as he flexed his arms. She almost laughed, remembering smugly how she had defeated them in her first battle. She had smoothly felt the presence of her friends as they entered, but her fixation was on Red. That is, until she noticed Enzo. She looked at him, and then looked down, slightly flustered. Maya also noticed the brand new female in the group, along with a brand new male, who seemed to be quite interested in Silver.
Maya took a step back to make herself noticeable. "Hey, guys." She said, her eyes picking out everyone in the group. She focused on the new male and female. "I haven't seen you around before. I'm Maya." She smiled, and her words were genuine and non-threatening.

Enzo noticed Maya before he noticed Red. "Oi, Maya!" He smiled. He hasn't seen Maya since Battle Royal, and he was wondering how she and the others have been since then. Red on the other hand heard Enzo's voice, and stopped showing off. Whoa, who's she? Red thought, staring at Eos intensely. He instantly found himself infront of her. The previous crowd confused at his sudden change in behavior. "Red? What are you doing?" "And who are you?" He said to Eos with a flirting tone, completely tuning out everyone else.

Volitaire didn't pay mind to Enzo forgetting, but more to Red. He wasn't in the mood for his douche bag antics tonight. He had a feeling he'd pull moves on Eos while JD is around, which could cause conflict. But at the same time he's hoping it doesn't. It would still go under their agreement. "Well, we met when your friend Kenji wasn't present. You were on your own for God knows what reason and..." Large concrete buildings came to view, it was a medium sized city, some dodgy parts of course, and not the most busy. So a lot of underground things was quite common. Volitaire was going through the shopping district looking for clothing. He has been wearing the same white shirt and grey jeans for a while now, and he made some money doing jobs around town with his older brother. He walked passed a tailor and saw a pretty interesting suit that was on sale. His eyes lit up, but before he could go inside he heard some commotion outside. He saw some other boy, about his age being pestered by much older men, and two women. He looked back and froth from the commotion to the tailor and wondered what he should do. "Grr.." Volitaire was a bit worried but knew his brother told him to stay out of any trouble he saw, but he had a strong sense of justice when he was younger. Following under comic book heroes and authority he sometimes ran into. He swallowed some fear and carefully walked over to the scene. The young boy had brown hair and your regular casual outfit, donned in blue. The men attempted to look like his friend, while the women tried to seduce him, and make it look like they cared. Volitaire was disgusted, he hated manipulative people who preyed on innocent people. Especially children. He had no idea what they could be praying on him for, but he would soon find out. "Hey..! Leave this poor kid alone, what do you want with him anyhow?" What seemed to be the ringleader turned to Volitaire but he towered over him with. His littered and torn clothes showed why he took his path. He never guessed there would be so many people living in poverty like this. It made him sad he may have to defend himself and this boy before him. "Listen kid, what you see here is nothing compared to what really goes down in this small town. Go be a super hero somewhere else and leave us to this kid, okay? You shouldn't even be out all by yourself. You'll end up like this little twat right here. Now get going before we get you next." Volitaire was mildly frustrated. He looked to see the women were pointing at his rings and the man was trying to pry it off his finger. Volitaire shrieked. "Stop that!" His hand emitted a black aura and a chain flew from his palm and coiled the man who lectured him a moment ago. He pulled him down to the ground and slammed his left hand to the pavement, imps bursts from the opened cracks in the ground and hop on the large man attacking relentlessly. He turned his attention to the two women. "Harlots!" He shot two Shadow Bolts at them, not strong enough to kill but to stumble them over. The last assailant attempted to run, but he let him go. Volitaire sighed and the imps dispelled, the man took off shouting; "You little fucking creep!" That stung Volitaire a little, it made him remember his days back in the orphanage. He shook it off and helped the other boy up. He noticed he didn't speak much, but he didn't look scared either. "I could've handled it you know.." "But you didn't...not in time at least. I just thought I should help. Where's your parents?" The other boy had shook his head and shrugged. "Like me, eh?" After a brief moment of quiet a small little man hopped on the boys shoulder. "You didn't fight back? Well, I should thank you. But you sort of ruined a good chance for him to get some practice." Volitaire tilted his head. "Practice?" The little man shook his head and made a notion that they need to leave. The boy put his hand out towards Volitaire. "I'm uhh..Enzo Ferrari. You?" It looked like his greeting was routine rather than natural. Volitaire decided not to wonder about it. "Volitaire Lucath..if you need practice I can surely help you. Practicing with my brother is dull. Very dull." The little man scratched his chin. "Me and Enzo will think about it. In the meantime, we need to go. Thanks for the help, again." The two walked down the street passed the two unconscious women. Volitaire didn't feel like being clean-up crew so he went back inside the tailor.

"Something like that no? After that Kenji had us meet regularly for training. It was...nice. Kinda felt like I had a friend other than Einso." Volitaire was focused on the ground while hid finger laid on his chin as if he was still thinking. He wondered if he got all of it right.

Maya took a few seconds to process the story, partially distracted. "Quite the boy, Enzo was, eh? Quite the boy you were, too." She chuckled, looking at Voltaire. All of the conflicting feelings in the air made Maya uneasy, but she skipped over to Enzo and gave him a hug. "Sorry that I didn't come visit you in the student hospital." She stayed close to him, trying to ignore the rest of what was going on. Everyone else seemed to be in their own worlds.

"I was no one. That was the worst told story ever. But in a nutshell, I helped him with some trouble makers. And I'm a bit rude not saying hi Maya. Good to see you again." Volitaire nodded and looked towards Red, noticing he was looking Eos up and down. He chuckled and knew this was only going to end well.

"Ah!-" Enzo was surprised Maya felt familiar with him to the point of hugging. His face flushed red, and to make up for his pathetic welp, he added in an chuckle. "-ahahahah, it's okay, really." He hugged her back. This was the first time he ever hugged a female. He had to make sure he didn't come within contact of the packages, though. He pulled back and scratched his head, proud of himself that he actually got to hug someone that wasn't his parents. "I.. wasn't in the hopistal for too long, thanks to Kenji."

“Illusions~?” JD stated as he rubbed his finger along his chin. “How fascinating- almost- amazing actually. I’ve never met someone who could conjure illusions before, but then again I’m rather new to all this magical bulwark.” His hands pantomimed out in front of him rather comically performing something simplistically magical. “Tricking people-? Oh how very devilish- I enjoy a good trick myself; good ole fashion joke- hah hah- and all that tripe. The world is rather dull if everyone is so honest and straightforward all the time- a real snore if you ask me.” He stated- even though she really hadn’t asked. It was then JD paused and brought his hand up to his head once again- running his digits through those blonde tresses of his. “Oh I got here via plane. You know the usual economy air travel- they offer you peanuts and a glass with half a can of pop in it and call that a meal of some sorts. Really isn’t, and I don’t know how they go about ripping blokes off.”

Before he knew it they had reached the establishment of their current dinner hurrah, and JD found himself immediately unimpressed. There were multiple factors to this, but he had hoped for a pub of some sort. Then again when he reflected back on the drinking age- he was assured that maybe where they currently were that he was under the cusp of it.
His eyes shot over to the red head that went about attempting to show off how amazing he was. “Gingers- really- always so boringly predictable.” JD grumbled under his breath before averting his attention back to a new face. “JD VanCise,” he offered with a salute and laughed. “Pleasure to meet you Maya.” About that time he noted that the aforementioned ginger had found himself cozying up to his sister. Those silver eyes watched rather apprehensively at the other’s moves. Everyone had been polite so far to them, and he had had no reason to flare up. That and of course Eos could take care of herself- he wouldn’t have let her meander this far if he hadn’t assumed she could break necks. “Eos go easy on him- he is just a boy.” JD laughed as he found himself a seat and thought to cozy into it.

Maya smiled warmly, happy to know that Voltaire seemed comfortable with her and that Enzo was getting there. She squeezed Enzo's hand before backing up a little bit to give him space. "I'm glad you're okay. Thanks to... Kenji." She chuckled some more, remembering some of the strange things that Kenji had done before. She looked at the new boy and nodded lightly, "Nice to meet you, Mr. VanCise." She crossed her arms and smiled, slightly shaking her head. Maya glanced around and faced Enzo again. "Maybe we should step out for a few minutes. Everyone else seems to be involved in something."

Silver blinked and nodded at JD, listening to him and just now noticing the color of his eyes. She found herself staring at them for a moment, thinking that they were very nice looking, and tried to play it off by pushing some of her hair behind her ear and looking away. Her eyes wandered to Red, who had appeared in front of them. She rolled her bright green eyes and looked to Maya, smiling at her.
Is this what it feels like to be... Social?

Eos listened as carefully as she could to the story Volitaire was kind enough to give. It made her giggle - thinking of how the two could have acted. She felt like she was learning more about them by the minute! Was Volitaire really that type of guy? He seemed so calm and shy... if only she could see him using his skills in a combat setting.

An easygoing brunette stepped out of the crowd and approached the group around her. Eos felt a little nervous, bit it was probably due to all the excitement inside the establishment. "Salutations, Maya~! I'm JD's sister, Eos. We just arrived today!" By the way Enzo and Volitaire reacted, Maya must have been someone worth making nice with - this was only confirmed by her being the hugging type. Eos loved huggers, it made her feel a bit more normal.

But suddenly, the red headed male that was flexing for the world to see was inches away from her. "Eh..." Her eyes followed up his body to his face and she felt a little imposed by the sudden lack of space between them. "Eos... my name is Eos VanCise." She spoke cautiously, raising an eyebrow at his antics. Was he flirting with her? Looking around to the crowd of girls expressions - that was seeming to be the case. It was obvious this guy wasn't someone she'd want to be affiliated with, but she didn't want to be outright rude. "Sorry, but I was planning on taking a seat and having something to eat with my friends, so I'll see you around chap!" She gave him a friendly pat on the chest before looking over at Maya.

"Nonsense, Maya! We just were going to have some dinner - you should join us! If only just to chat~?" She waved everyone over as she quickly darted over to a free booth - her red heels clicking below her feet.

Volitaire kept his head low and hands in pockets and followed behind Eos. "You should join us, Maya. It's been a while since you last hung out with us. I'd feel terrible seeing you leave without at least inviting you myself." He paced himself, he felt that being inside of a eating establishment meant he needed to act more presentable. He lowly said to Red, stopping before continuing following Eos; "You can join us too, if you won't be so troublesome." His tone was a little violent, his relationship with Red wasn't the most friendly at the present time. He was also hoping he kept to his promise, he didn't fight him for no reason. After catching up with Eos he tried to reassure her that Red isn't something to worry about too much. "He's the typical douche of the school. Cocky, popular, strong, and a bigot. I doubt JD would let him get to you, I also believe you're better than him anyway. I'll make sure he doesn't cause trouble. We do have an agreement...that he hopefully kept." That last part to his sentence was darkened again. He wasn't feeling very tolerant of retarded shenanigans caused by Red's overly zealous attitude. He took his seat and looked out the window, amused by the allure of the stars.

Maya grinned at Eos. Her first impression of her was not a good one, but Maya liked her upbeat personality and openness. It was not something that Maya was used to, or, at least, not something that other girls graced her with.
Maya lightly smiled at Voltaire, hoping excitement wasn't beaming from her.
"Alright, then." She was still smiling and looked at Enzo. "Shall we?"
She paused and slowly walked up to the booth, sitting opposite of Eos. She dug through her pockets and found her money, now at ease that she knew she had it. "Oh, Voltaire..." she hummed in response to his bashing of Red. "What brings you here, Eos?" She smiled again, looking at Eos.

Enzo smiled and nodded, following Maya and sitting next to her. She was probably one of the easiest people to get along with. Kenji sat on the other side of Maya, with a spoon in one hand, and a fork in the other. "Hmm, what do you all like?" He said, reading a menu that was placed infront of him. Enzo took a look around the restaurant. Waiters were quite plentiful, and some of them had food dishes that were floating infront of them, with nothing holding them up. I guess it's called the Wizard's Treat for a reason.

"I haven't eaten here before, but I hear they have interesting soups. Special recipes, and all." She wondered if the chefs used magic to help prepare the food, but quickly dismissed the thought from her mind. She sensed something amiss in the atmosphere, but pushed all thoughts away and looked over her menu. Maya looked up and smiled at all of her group mates, never having so many friends or being so comfortable before. She was still very excited to learn more about the new additions, JD and Eos. It was also strange sitting so close to Enzo, knowing how nervous he was about girls. Maya smiled at Kenji knowingly and settled back down.

Volitaire surveyed the menu. His sweet tooth was acting up quite bad, he immediately skipped to the desert side and saw a large cinnamon bun and his face lit up with joy. He remembered he had some of his funds from the Aurora mission taken out and stored in his wallet, he pulled it out to see how much he really had. $57.00. It was a small amount, he didn't think he'd need a lot. But he saw it was more than enough for the cinnamon bun. "I'll umm..have the cinnamon bun.." His voice shook, he was embarrassed to show everyone he had a major sweet tooth, especially with Eos nearby. He felt she would nitpick at him for it just to get his reaction.

Right outside, stood a darkened figure, waiting to enter, " Tch," was the first sound that echoed from the woman's mouth as she stepped out into the light, revealing honey brown hair and electric blue eyes from afar. Sasha tugged on her baseball cap, mouthing the words on the sign that stood before her, " The Wizard's Treat...Interesting name, I'd say."

A smirk spread on her face, as she slowly entered the restaurant, shoving her hands in her pockets. She must have looked quite the mess; ripped skinny jeans and black sweatshirt with hair hurriedly tied back into a high pony tail.

One look Sasha shot at the staff, and they were on their heels, ushering her towards a booth right behind a rather loud group of people. Sasha sat down, immediately lifting her legs up and putting them on the table. A waitress stopped to correct her, but Sasha glared at her, sending the poor lady running in the opposite direction. Well, it was quite rude of Sasha to behave in that manner, but did she care? The answer was no, if you were wondering.

She sighed and leaned back a little, allowing herself to relax, " It's been forever."

Sasha had been in this region three years ago, with her older brother, but hadn't bothered to return since. However, as she had decided to apply for that school, she returned once more. Hopefully this time, she wouldn't cause a fight.

The fleeing waitress caught Enzo's attention. He felt it in the air. Murderous intent. Well, probably not that, but the air was thick, nonetheless. He wanted to look, and he did. He could only see a pair of shoes on the table. Someone's propped up like that? It seemed similar to the aura around Red.

Suddenly, a waitress came up the table with dishes of food. Enzo hadn't ordered anything, but he found exactly what he was craving for, secretly. A large bowl of ramen, and a smaller bowl for Kenji, as well. They must have been using some kind of magic with the menus. "Thank you." Enzo said to the waitress, and she nodded back, returning to her other duties.

Before he could dive into his meal, he heard a couple of phrases with 'Battle Royal' in them. He started to feel nervous again. Hopefully that wouldn't call out his name.

Eyes. Sasha could feel them on her. Out of the corner of her eye, she could make out several waitresses staring and whispering about her, as well has some males. She responded to this with a smirk, followed by sticking her tongue out, as if to say, " Scared of just person smaller than you? Pathetic. "

Then she felt another aura, something more powerful than that of the waitresses. It stood out , alright. Sasha lifted her head, and made out another male, who was sitting in the booth next to her. "...strange..." muttered Sasha, giving a small grin to herself, " This is very exciting. "

Meeting a person who had much energy and a certain aura excited Sasha. Back home, there was no one who could win a battle against her. Here, she could find a challenge.

Moments later, a waitress set a seafood salad in front of her, with some sparkling juice. Sasha nodded curtly, setting down her legs, and began to eat the meal, momentarily forgetting about the male she had noticed before.

Kenji noticed Enzo's curiosity, and spoke. "If you're going to leave your ramen there, I will eat it." This caught Enzo's attention. He turned back around and looked at his food and said "R-Right!" before hastily eating it.

Silver definitely wasn’t the talkative type- which was apparent by her studious silence in comparison to her friend’s free-flowing comments. JD didn’t mind that so much, but it did cause his mind to dither a bit onto other things. He wondered how Eos and he truly ended up here- no matter how much he dodged the question it was somewhat out of not knowing where to begin rather than the fear of giving away valuable information.

Eos was ever the planner and the partier, and JD was always along for the ride; he never seemed to be the one to force situations to happen but always abused them when they did. They all crowded into the booth- and JD found himself smooshed against his sister, and on the other side of her Voltaire. She was getting rather cozy rather fast, but he reminded himself that they might need Voltaire’s expertise at a later time. So he just sighed and glanced over the menu. Honestly he was starving- they hadn’t had much since getting here and the trip itself had been exhausting. Truth be told he hadn’t had much time to acclimate to the time change yet- but that didn’t stop him from trying to make some friends here.

“So,” he slowly stated. “What is good here- eh? Food I’m guessing.” It was then immediately apparent that he wondered if they would even have enough money for any of this. Ah well- if they did or if they didn’t he would find a way around it.


Noting that Eos hadn’t responded to Maya’s question- JD offered a response instead. “What are we doing here? Studying- like the rest of you-“ eyes went to Voltaire “well like the majority of you really. I suppose- isn’t this was this place is about. Learning about magical juju and the what not-?” It was then he gave a tilt of his head over to Silver, “she said she is quite good with illusions which sounds fun- what about yourself Madame? Can you top something interesting like that? I’m particularly interested in what everyone can do, because I’ve never been around much magic except for E’s and my own.”

Volitaire saw his cinnamon bun come to the table, it was warm, moist, and oozing with frosting. He picked up the scent instantly and tried to contain how happy he was. He took his fork and picked off pieces of it, looking quite pleased with it. "It's so good~!"

Eos couldn't stop smiling, things just seemed to be going so well! Maya agreed to joining everyone, and didn't seem bothered by the crowd. As she cozied up in her seat, closest to the window - she listened cautiously to the forewarning about Red. She held on to one sentence in particular, where Volitaire suggested she could do better than him. The comment made her blush a little, but the thought was immediately followed by a sigh accompanied by a grumble as she let her head fall against the table. "Figures only guys like that would flirt with me."

With another reluctant sigh she pulled herself back to the conversation, glancing over Maya. Surely she never had problems like this, she was probably given love notes on a daily basis! Just like in manga! Perhaps later she could ask her for some tips. "Oh, what brings me here?" She paused and thought on the question, but before she could answer JD spoke. Nodding with every sentence he spoke she decided to add a little more, "Well... magic users weren't too commonplace back where we're from, and we always felt like something was ya know... wrong with us? JD and I are a couple of wanderers, and just so happened to catch wind of this school. The second we could, we flew out to be here." It seemed that would be enough history for now, considering their past was something they liked to keep in the past. Fiddling with the menu, she looked across the table again at Maya. "What about you?"

It was then Eos had noticed Volitaire had been sitting beside her this whole time, making her wonder if he had heard her mumbling. Instantly becoming flustered she pulled the menu back up to her face - trying to read it but feeling more concerned about Volitaire. Either way, it seemed her stomach ordered for her. Floating platters and cups approached with a kind waitress behind them, a plate with two pumpkin scones and a cup of perfectly made Tea was placed on the table before her. "Oh wow..." Once again it became apparent on Eos' face that she had not been exposed to magic regularly. "Bloody hell, that's amazing! Thank you!" She flashed a thoughtful smile at the waitress before looking over at Volitaire's plate to see a large, sticky bun that smelt delicious. The way he awed at the sweet treat was just as cute as his reaction. Letting out a rather uncontrollably giggle she tried to steady her cup of tea in her hand. "Volitaire, you're the only person I know who can be dark and mysterious one minute and unbelievably cute the next!"

"N-not true! I'm not..'that' mysterious. There's not that much too me, I guess. It's how I figure it...and I just have a sweet tooth, leave me alone..." Volitaire kept chewing to ignore Eos' comment about him being cute. He had no idea how to react to it. It was a first since the lady at the Orphanage called him that. He pondered about how she said magic was negatively viewed from where she was from. It made him remember all the kids at the Orphanage being afraid of him and calling him a creep for summoning imps and raising dead animals in spare time, also the huge incident with the towns mayor. He wondered if he should bring it up, Enzo being the only person that knows wouldn't really care he thought. But he didn't wanna bring up his sob stories here. He wanted to have fun. "Also...that's rough, to have people look down on you for your profession. At least found somewhere you can put this ability to use." He took another piece off with his fork and his face brightened up again with the sweet melted frosting melting on his tongue. But deep down he was hoping no one would notice.

While Enzo was murdering his bowl of ramen, He overheard Red talking to a group of higher-ranked magicians about a 'Red headed boy'. From the sound of it, Red knew a little more about him then everyone else. He nearly finished his ramen, and spoke loud enough for Red to hear. "Um, Red?" He called out nervously. He wasn't on good standings with Red, considering he would still be mad for Enzo melting his sword in purpose way back when.


Red shifted his gaze to Enzo. "What?" He replied, a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Do you know Enki?" Enzo asked him. Red raised an eyebrow, and walked over to the table. "He was looking for me." Red laughed, as if Enzo told an amazing joke. "You?" He let out nearly half a minute's worth of laughing. Enzo looked around his group, he was kind of embarrassed, and confused, too. "Do you even know who Enki is?" Enzo shook his head.


"Heh, figures. Do you know what the Gaze is?" Again, Enzo shook his head. Red crossed his arms, almost in disbelief. "I take it you haven't done any research on the cult that was at Castle Aurora, then." Come to think of it, Red did disappear mid-mission... And the castle held many books. "I read about it in a book that was in Castle Aurora. The Gaze is what you can call, the land of the dead. But not like, zombies, or anything. The Gaze is a realm which the souls of dead people go, basicly. My brother, X, told me alot about it, since he goes there alot." Red unfolded his arms. At this point, he was talking to everyone at the table. Though Kenji continued to eat his ramen noodles, seemingly ignoring him. "That cult believed in Gaze. They knew it was real. But I wonder why they needed Aurora... Maybe to enter it?" Red shrugs, clearly clueless on what they were really after. "I know there is 7 godlike entities there." From there, a screen appeared next to him. It was more odd magic. But this magic looks familiar. This is the same magic teachers use to demonstrate different types of magic during class. A form of Archive magic.

"So, from left to right. Their names are: Solitude, Courage, War, Destruction, Tranquility, Luck, and Darkness. These are the 'gods' Endine believes in. Volitaire listened carefully and put two and two together. Enki must've been looking for Enzo, the man in the middle also has the same flames as Enzo. He knew his powers were special but not to this level exactly. He felt relieved knowing a little more about the subject, but was even more cautious of Enki. He'd sacrifice himself if it meant keeping Enzo safe as long as he possible could. He looked down and his cinnamon bun was finished. His eyes narrowed and he looked out the window again, lost in thought. "I see now...there's a lot you like to hide from a good friend, Kenji."

She continued to giggle, even more so as Volitaire began to protest. "Alright, I'll leave you alone. For now..." Eos teased before sipping her hot tea. Nodding in response she placed the cup down on it's saucer. "We had no idea there was a place where magic was even accepted.
