The Help

I closed my eyes and snuggled back against him comfortably. "Tired?" I asked softly.

"Kind of.." I mumbled and I kissed the back of her neck. I felt better... I really did.

I gently rubbed his arms that were wrapped around me. "Feeling better?" I asked.

"Yes.. as long as dont get brought up.. ill do better." I said gently, and I slowly fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning, I turned in Slade's arms and watched him sleep for a few minutes. He looks so peaceful... I kissed his forehead and then got up and went to go make breakfast.

I felt lips press to my forehead, and after a few moments I opened my eyes, after feeling the bed shift. I sat up slowly, and I rubbed my eyes.. I then stood and took a quick shower before heading down the stairs.

I was flipping pancakes and making eggs and bacon on the side when I heard footsteps. I turned around and smiled at Slade. "Good morning." I said. Jacob was already sitting at the table with coffee, looking like he could pass out again.

"Hey." I said, and I walked over, and I smiled and nodded at Jacob and I leaned against the counter and watched the bacon in the pan. My favorite.. "looks good." I said, grinning n

I smiled and fixed everyone a plate when I was done. I sat next to Jacob and began to eat.
