Uh, been doing this for a while...eight years? But I've been writing since I was just a wee-thing. And plus, when I really like a character, I like to think it comes out a little better, anyway.

So...now I suppose I should be doing the post thing. And maybe follow up on the one woman that I've set at her ease and the two that I've all-but-alienated, hmm?

I'm wondering if I should wait for Rialla to post... or not. x-x

RawrRawrRawr. It's funny because Deryn only has a few things that can really bring out her fighting spirit. One being food snatchers, two being egomaniac men and three being those who cheat while playing cards. :D

In real life I do get really irritated when people snatch things out of my hand.

I think we all put a little of ourselves into our characters. Makes them easier to play. Also, I don't think we can help it lol. And I think Alcy and Deryn will be alright, as long as Cas is off shooting someone else lol.


I don't think I could have played an elf. I can't do the constantly mean demeanor lol.

It's a challenge for me, but that was one of the reasons I was so eager in playing an elf. They had a lot of characteristics that I don't play often. I also really enjoy playing a character that isn't easy liked, (which is why I have recently been trying to play unlikable or evil characters in other games). Being easily liked makes for a boring experience these days for me. Characters with a lot of flaws make for a not so easy experience, and adds more depth... in the sense that if you can manage to see the glimpse of good in the character she may seem more approachable. I keep in mind nobody has seen her at work yet, which will be a completely different experience.

But for the most part I look at Cas and Deryn much like kittens who can't help but scrap. It's not like Deryn could actually bring herself to hurt her friend, but she'd certainly pull little pranks like cutting off a chunk of her pretty hair! If you think about it they have only been on this earth for a few years so it's kind of like shoving all those emotions/troubles/expectations at a kid.

I love how pretty much everyone thinks Alcy's too young. Even the elves that are less than half her age.

I know, when really she is an adult... and she has skill that surpasses people even older than her. I think if anything it would be the crew being envious of her having made such an accomplishment at her prime. xD

I don't know why this popped into my head but has anyone ever heard of "short man syndrome" in the sense that when you see someone acting really tough when they are shorter than average it's usually because they are trying to make up for their short stature. Oh Deryn ;_;

I've heard of a Napoleon complex? xD

I'm pretty sure it's the same thing, maybe my mom made up the syndrome title xD

lol they're the same thing. >_> Had to learn about it a bit in psychology. xD Now that I think about it, it ties a bit into Barasa's personality. Or his childhood anyway. Though being short wasn't as big of a deal as being physically different from his brother's in general. xD But he made up for it in... books!

Yes, I just feel the need to warn you that messing too much with "The Assassin" may have potential consequences and you shouldn't get OOC upset if there is a consequence.
