"It wont be easy. It just takes time." I said, knowing he would soon go back to his no speeking thing, and I understood. I could see it in his eyes. "Rest.." I said, closing my eyes.

I nodded and closed my eyes, falling asleep with her in my arms. I dreamt of Reuben, and all of our memories. There was school tomorrow.

The next morning, I woke up, and got ready, I then walked back into his room, and I gently kissed his cheek. "Do you want to go to school?" I asked softly, running my fingers through his hair softly.

I opened my eyes. I have to. I know I do. I nodded and got up and took a shower. I got ready and walked with Elsa and Christian to school. Christian was almost as upset as me, but at least he spoke.

The bell rang, and class started, I looked over at Rainer. He was zoned out, the teacher began talking, and I started to take notes. I hayed seeing him like this.

There was an assembly for Reuben and a lot of people who didn't even know him were crying. It pissed me off! English was horrible. The desk next to me was empty and I kept staring at it as if he would magically appear. Everyone kept looking at me sympathetically.

The assembly was sad, depressing.. I had given Rainer some space for the day. I walked down the hall, and someone grabbed me and pulled me into the closet. I screeched, and a hand covered my mouth. "Looks like you found your mate.." Ashton said. "Wouldnt it be a shame if something.. happened to you.." he said squeezing my arm tightly untill I heard a crack, and a sharp pain.. "Your story is that youfell.. you tell him, your leg is next.." hesaid, pushing me out, tears filling my eyes, holding my arm to me. I stood, and rushed to the nurse.

I felt a small pain on my arm, and then fear. My thoughts immediately went to Elsa. I got up and ran out of the classroom, straight to the nurse. I saw her sitting with the nurse. I gave her a look that said what happened?

The nurse wrapped my arm, saying I would need to head to the hospital for an xray. I looked up at Rainer. "Stairs." I said softlt, looking down. I cant look someone in the eye and lie..

I knew she was lying. I took her other arm and took her outside. "I'm not stupid, I know you're lying. What happened? And why were you scared?"

"Im telling you. I fell down the stairs, and that was scary.. thats why I was scared.." I said, gradually looking down. I hated this, lying. and I got a pain in my chest, it didntfeel good to lie like this.

I fell silent again as I took her to the hospital. If she's gonna lie to me already, then she doesn't deserve my words.

I had to just tell him what happened. After my arm had a cast on it, I walked out where he was. I would have it only for two weeks, since it was a small fracture. I took his hand, and lead him outside. "Fine.. I didn't fall down the stairs.. Ashton.. he did it.." I said softly.

I clenched my fists. "And what did he say he would do if you told me?" I asked.

"He.. would have broken my leg next.. hes an alpha, isnt he?" Isaid softly. He was so angry..

I scoffed. "No. He's a beta. The same position as me but in a different pack. If the alpha dies, the beta takes his place. He's a sore loser. He's angry that he doesn't have power. So he torments humans."

I nodded. "Hes very rude.." I said softly, looking up at him. "Lets go home." I said softly, taking his hand with my free one. "Im sorry I lied.."

I shrugged. "It's ok." I took us home and I fixed her a cup of hot coco.

I was glad that my arm had happened after school, I didnt want to miss any classes and have him dothe same, and get behind. I thanked him, and took a drink, carefully thistime. Would my happy Rainer ever come back? I thought. I just had to give him time.

I sat next to her and kissed her cheek. She's already getting hurt because of me..

When he sat beside me, I slowly crawled into his lap, straddling him, and resting my head on his chest. I loved being close to him, feeling this unexplainable thing for him was addicting.

I rubbed her back gently and kissed the top of her head. My heart warmed slightly. I feel like I've known her forever. I already love her.

I felt the tingles go through my body when he kissed my head, I looked up at him, and I smiled softly, and I slowly pressed my lips to his, sweetly. God.. ive never felt this before..

I gently ran my fingers through her hair as I kissed her back gently, my eyes closed. The world disappeared once again. It was just me and her. Us. Forever.

I let my hand slowly give his shoulder a squeeze, and I kissed him , slightly deeper than before. Feeling his hands run through my hair mafe me shiver.

I smiled behind the kiss. I let my arms wrap around her waist and pull her closer. My body started to tingle pleasantly.

I gasped softly, the way his strong arms pulled me close, just brought me a lot of pleasure. Just his touch.. I slowly pulled away from the kiss, and I kissed his neck softly, before looking into his eyes.

I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and I kissed her nose. "I feel so lucky.. That I have found my mate.. It's so rare.."

I blushed, and I looked down, playing with the hem of his shirt mindlessly. "Isnt it bad luck.. to have a human mate?" Ibasked,

I shrugged. "It's superstition. It's fate. It was meant to happen. We were born for each other. Why would it be bad luck?"
