Rejected at first sight.

He must not be my mate. Ive been with all my friends when they found their mates, and it was completely different than this. I just stayed quiet, and watched as people walked into the room, finally. I stood and moved a few seats over. Since I annoyed him fairly easily with my nervous hands.

I rose an eyebrow and smirked. Princess. I turned my seat back to the table and my father sat beside me, giving a sigh that I knew well- disappointment. I didn't mind it. I cared abiout my pack.

I just didnt want to annoy him.. I listened to the meeting, very bored. "Didn't you have an idea, Lavender?" Someone asked. I quickly shook my head. "No."

"Come on, let's hear it,"I encouraged, sitting back comfotably and opening my arms out,"We are all here to listen."

"I said I dont have one, Alpha.." I said, and thankfully they moved on to the next person, and I breathed a sigh of relief. The guy by me, was the same one from last time.. he kept staring at my legs..

I scoffed softly and shook my head, collecting my things. Way to be, girly, way to be.

I felt the man grab my leg under the table, I quickly slapped it away. I heard him growl lowly and I sighed.. how annoying..

I could sense what was happening and before I knew it, my hand was gripping his wrist so hard my knuckles were white and a growl was rising from my throat, my body wedged between her and him,"Keep you filthy paws to yourself."

I jumped slightly, then I felt his warmth beside me.. the doubts I had about him being my mate.. the room went silent, and I looked up at him. "Hey.. its alright." I said, seeing him so angry.

I released the mans wrist and my father nodded at me. I looked around at all the men, some approving and some not. I stood straight, strong,"This is the twenty-first century. Women are people and are to be respected like one. They are not meat, if they were we wouldn't be having this meeting now would we?" I recieved a few chuckles and I returned to my seat.

"Psh..." I said at his little joke, and I watched as he walked away. The meeting was very boring, and during the break I sat in my car, and I ate the lunch I brought.

I knocked on her window with the knuckle of the finger, leaning on the hood of her car as I looked out over the parking lot.

I slowly opened my door, and stepped out. "Hey.. thanks for.. earilier.." I said, leaning against the door of my car. "Whats up?.." I asked.

"You need to speak up. You have an idea, bring it out. No one here knows what we're going to do,"I said with a nod, turning to face her.

"Well.. okay.. my idea was that, we can go anywhere to hunt, as long as its strictly hunting. And whatever you catch, some goes to the owning packs land.."

I sighed and looked out over the parking lot once more,"That'll never pass... I'm sorry."

"That's why I didnt want to say it. Who would listen anyway." I mumbled the last part, and I checked the time. Ten more min. I opened my car door and got back in, rolling my window down.

"We are all willing to listen. Just bring something reasonable,"I said with a shrug as I leaned against the hood, facing away from her/

"Im trying. But my alpha has completely cut me off and I cant come up with anything else. Maybe we could compromise with the Bluehorizon pack.. they dont have any trouble hunting , theres alot of deer there.. maybe we could see if we can turn some into just hunting grounds welcome to everyone.."

"See, now that's an idea,"I said with a grin, nodding to her before heading back inside. I knew she was smart. She just needs to think sometime.

Like those guys will listen to me though. After the few more min I got up and I went inside, this time I sat by him, thinking that was best, because the other man was expecting me to sit by him.. hell no.

I sat down and I glanced at her,"Speak up,"I whispered softly.

After everyone went quiet, I told them, exactly what I told him outside. They were all quiet, one guy just scoffed, and shook his head. "This will help us how, women?" he spat, and I ignored him. But, everyone else is all for it

The meeting concluded with an agreement to organize that plan at the next meeting and I smirked. At least that was a step forward.

The meeting was soon over. And I headed out to my car. So.. my mate.. did he even care?

(I gotta go to bed. I've been running around all day and my brain isn't working correctly for me to write so we have an awesome rp. xD Goodnight!)

I followed after her slowly and grinned,"Come on, say it, I'm waiting,"I said, cupping my finger around my ear and leaning toward her,"You were right. You told me so. I had a good idea." I laughed softly,"You know you want to say it.."

I chuckled, and I leaned against my car, watching him. I crossed my arms and I smiled. "Fine, I told you so, I told you so!" I said, hitting his arm playfully. "I would have gotten around to it."

"Yes, yes I'm sure, right after the pig fly, right?"I could help but laugh and nod,"It was a good idea. You definitely impressed them."

I shrugged, nodding lightly in agreement. "Well, I impressed everyone, but that one alpha from the Starlight pack, what a jerk," I said, shaking my head.

"Always had been, always will be. He was kind of cool, but his mate died and he just... Became an ass,"I said, leaning on the edge of her car beside her.

"Ah.. thats terrible." I said, looking down, I then glanced up at him. He was very handsome.. and my wolf inside of me was dying to get to know him. Ive only talked to him at these meetings. "Well, I better get back.. my alpha still hadnt responded to anything from me in a couple weeks. I think hes dicthed out on us." I said, with a sigh. "Feel free to swing by the pack house," I said, unlocking my car.

As her door began to open I stepped back, fighting the urge to pin her against the car,"Maybe I will."

"Really?" I said, and I hoped I didnt sound too excited. "I mean. Yeah, youre welcome anytime.." I said, more formally. "See you." I said, getting in and starting my car, I put it in reverse and I was.off.

I watched until I couldn't see her car anymore and I smiled. A few days later I took her up on her offer and knocked on the door of her pack house door, sliding my hands into my front pockets, looking around. They had nice land.

The pack had gone out for hunting, and im here, backed up on pack paperwork. I heard someone knock, I stood, and I opened the door, smiling when I saw who it was. "Oh? Hey, come on in." I sai..

I nodded politely and stepped inside, turning as she closes the door behind me. Her hair was frayed and small bags hung below her eyes,"Yiu look exhausted." And yet she was so attractive..

I took my glasses off, and put them in its case. "I am.." I said, and I showed him to the living room, papers on the coffee table. I quickly stacked them and out them in a folder, and I put it away. "Want anything to drink?" I asked, smiling.

"No...no, just.."I grabbed her by the wrist, softly, and pulled her to me, grabbing her by the cheeks and kissing her tenderly. I couldn't stop myself... I was done being mature and professional.
