That's what happens when you're Salutatorian. You get stuck giving speeches and since my other fellow classmates hated standing up in front of 500 people, I was always like - FAWK YEAH, I'LL TALK! >.> I swear, I just like hearing myself talk.
Anyway, it's one of the main reasons why I decided to take on a second major - Advertising and Public Relations. Being an engineer was too boring for me. So I found a profession that interacted with people more. I love what I do as an APR person. For my internship I got to go to a tradeshow in Florida where I had to lure people into our booth and chat with them about our company's products. It was sooooo much fun.

LOL! So I decided, Nick also likes to hear himself talk. It would explain his long-winded speeches.
It probably also helps that you have such an inviting smile.
In high school I wouldn't be caught dead giving a speech in front of my whole school, I could barely speak when 20 students were staring at me. It's funny though because my older brother is a lot like you, he is great with people and has the same kind of charming smile. He works as a club manager so he is always always dealing with the bands, the staff and he knows like every single person who walks into the club. I've always tried to be more like him, which is probably why I've come out of my shell in the past few years. He always grills me, "You can't expect to play guitar in front of a room full of people if you can't even keep your eyes off the ground."
I bet Nick is one of those people that walks around the house talking to himself. xD
Nick: Whaaaaa, I'm not that crazy.
>.< I might be one of those people who talks to herself. But it's usually me trying to figure out what a character might say. Or I might just talk to the walls... since they're always listening... but that's another story..........

Then my best friend was like, "Jen, you need to toughen up." Ever since she moved away in 9th grade, I've been a different person and I owe it all to her.

I think on the inside I share a lot in common with Gavyn but just like her, I try a lot to be a "Rynn Type" which isn't such a bad goal in my opinion. Your friend sounds like a good person, it's funny how people like that can make such a difference in ones life and they may not even realize it.Quote:
