Hiaute saw the cat and got down from the couch. He tilted his head to TK and whined a little. Like he was saying 'What did i do wrong?' So without an answer he went to Ikitasha still on the floor and curled on his head and started to sleep.
T.K. sighed once more and shook her head. She got up and went into the kitchen, opening up the laptop she left there. She turned it on and picked up ehr tablet, begining to draw.
"Owww that really hurt..." Ikitasha said as he walked into the room and yawned. He was rubbing his head that he fell square on when he passed out. He opended his eyes and saw that TK has a tablet in her hand and her laptops opened. "Hey i never knew you could draw" he said as he grabbed a chair and sat down next to her.
T.K. smiled some and then glanced at Ikitasha. "Well, you never asked." she said, still drawing. Her tablet pen flew across the tablet and on the screen, a face began to appear. It was a familiar face. And she didn't realise it before she glanced at Ikitasha again. Suddenly she saw the resemblance. She didn't know who she was drawing, nor did she care, usually. But she was drawing Ikitasha! Of all people! She quickly opened up a new document and continued to draw in there.
"Hey that was gunna be a good looking picture, and you draw really fast you know, and pretty good" he said and put a hand on his head once more. He went to the fridgeand accedentally bumped TK's shoulder and he winced. Thats when he started to run to the fridge. He couldnt take a chance that if TK wasnt drawing at the time and didnt ruin the picture. But if she was drawing it, it could of ruined the picture. But he didnt want to take that chance and face her wrath.
T.K. quickly pressed the CTRL+Z button and whatever Ikitasha did, was erased. She snickered some at his scared expression. "Its alright! There's still milk in the fridge! Its not going to disappear." she said with a slight smirk. While he was away, she kept working on the picture of him.
"Your still on that arent you. As well you should be cause i've had like 5 glasses of milk today only, this will be my 6th."He said and flicked his bang up so he could look with his cat eye at the picture that she was drawing. "My hair could do some work but so far your doing a pretty good picture." He said as he pushed his bang back down and got a carten of milk and a glass. Then he started to pour the milk out until he had a gratious serving and put the carten back into the fridge. And before TK could say anything he started to point at his left eye.
T.K.'s cheeks were tinted a slight pink, but besides that, her concentrated look on her face remained. She looked up for an explaination and then saw it. She bit her lip and nodded before remembering her own eye.
How was this vicious cycle of remembering her own pain going to end? Just the fact that Ikitasha had something done to his own eye made her want to shiver. She sighed and ran a hand through ehr hair. "Well, I guess. But now its a rough sketch. I haven't added on another layer for inking it yet." she explained the imperfections.
"Well i guess so, you are a pretty good artist after all and you have just started on it." And he took a few gulps of his milk and put the glass into the sink and filled it with water and rinsed it. Once he was done he put the glass into the dishwasher and went to sit down by TK once more. And he watched her laptop screen as she kept on drawing.
"I have to draw fast, otherwise, I loose interest in what I'm drawing and go do something else." she said, glancing back at him. She sighed and put the tablet down for a moment before getting up and grabbing a glass of apple juice. She came back and climbed back up onto the bar stool she was sitting on.
"Very interesting" he said thoughtfuly as he grabbed the tablet and pen and opened a new document and started to draw. He was hoping before TK noticed that he could draw something too. He wanted to draw a wolf howling at the moon. And after a few seconds it started to take shape.
T.K. stared at the computer screen as she sipped at her apple juice. "Hey..." she said with a tilt to her head. "That's pretty good... You like drawing on the computer?" she asked, looking at him. "I have an extra tablet I can let you use..." she said quietly. he had some major potential.
"Well im not that good, am I?" he said with a tilt of his head. The picture was fully drawn and ready and it looked much like this but with a few changes.http://www.google.com/imgres?q=wolf+...8&tx=105&ty=62 He looked at Tk while she was sipping her apple juice. "If you want me to i will but i got to tell you i draw some pretty random things every now and again" he said and Hiaute started to walk into the room but he stopped, turned around, and walked away like his animal instincts told him not to interfere. But Hiuate did something really bad. He found a way to get into Tamani's room and started to bark and growl at Tamani while he was still sleeping.
Tamani sat up and glared at the dog. "STUPID DOG!" he roared, getting out of bed and chasing the dog out. He stomped on the floor and then shooed him out, slamming the door shut. He made sure that it was locked and then went back to bed. He didn't want to hurt the dog, knowing full well that that Ikitasha kid would go full blown at him. He sighed and waited for a few moments, making sure the dog wouldn't try to get in and then ran a hand through his hair.
T.K. stared at the door for a moment and then sighed, shaking her head. "Your dog is so strange... A lot like Claudia, but louder." she said with a laugh. She turned to Ikitasha and nodded. "Yeah, you're pretty good. How you ever used a tablet before...?" she asked.
"If that Man ever hurts my dog I will hurt him" he growled. He shook his head at TK indicating that he never used a tablet before. He kept an eye on Hiaute just in case Tamani let his anger out on him. He continued to draw until he was satisfied at his work.
T.K. smiled some. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Well, you cna have that tablet." she mumbled as she watched the dog. She got back up and then streached, standing on the tips of her toes before falling back down on the heel of her feet. She rolled her neck as well, tension from being hunched overbeing released from her neck. A soft "Ow." escaped her lips when she pulled her muscles, but it wwas releaving.
"You know sometimes I feel just so alone out there, in the world" he said looking down at his feet. He really was alone out there. No one else knew what he was going through or how it felt to go through it. He felt like such a monster sometimes and he feels like he cant help his condition.
T.K. stared at her own feet for a moment, shifting her balence from her toes to her heels slowly. She looked up with a sad smile. "Eh. You're not really. While it may not be your same situation, there are many people out there, very much like you." she shrugged somewhat. "Kinda like me." she said rather quietly. She spun on her heels and then went to the fridge.
"Wow I havent thought of it that way, well the way with you being like me." he said like it was his fault that he had to hear about that. He ran a his hand through his grey hair and softly touching his cat eye when it was closed. And she was right. She is like him, probibly one of the only ones that are, if he screwed up his chance then it would probibly be over for him. So he cant mess up this chance, not today and not ever.
T.K. went over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hey... Its okay. We all have our secrets that we want to hide." she said quietly. "My mother went insane and tried to kill me before killing herself. That's why I'm here." she said, lifting her bangs to reveal the scar. "And I really have no idea why I just told you that, or why I didn't freak out when I said that..." she said quietly, pulling her hand back. Her eyes were wide with surprise. She didn't tell anybody but Anaya about this, and Tamani had witnessed this himself...
"Well at least before that you even had a mother, I didnt even have a mother, all I have is my foster mother" he said with a sudden change of tone. He didnt want to say that in that tone but it sort of slipped out. He quickly turned his head so it would be better but he knew that he said it and he couldnt take it back. It was good that TK was sharing that with him, it told him that she trusted him with those kind of secrets.
But my mother hated me with all my guts! She wanted to kill me and then protect my twin! If it weren't for him, where would I be? 6 foot under! the voice in her head screamed. She hated the tone he spoke in, as if he didn't want to talk about it. It came out like he was feeling snippish. She sighed and sat down in front of him, putting her hands on her knees and leaning forward towards him. She had a sad look on her face. "Well... Its the past." she said quietly. "While it may leave scars, the tiniest of them, or the largest... We have to move on and live. You can't live while dwelling in the past." she said, suddenly feeling like a hypocryte. She didn't know where this advice was coming from, but it wasn't her own... And she hadn't even begun to listen to that advice.
Her father left her, her brother died, her mother wanted to kill her... She had no other loving family. The only warm memories she had of the past were with her brother, while sitting in between his legs while he had run a comb through her long curly brown hair. And then all that disappeared when he died... And he left her with no more memories of him.
She felt tears prick at her eyes, stinging their way though her eyelids. She leaned back and lifted a hand to her face, trying to hide it.
"Im so sorry... I didnt think that...he began to say when he just shut his mouth. He felt her crying, and he felt himself crying as well. He didnt want to cry. But he just did, for he had no memories of a loving family. He didnt even know if he had any brothers or sisters. To him all he had was his dog Hiaute. Thats why he protects him and in return Hiaute protects Ikitasha. He put his elbows on his thyies and hands on his face trying to shield the tears. But he knew that there was no stopping the crying they both endored. Even Hiaute was right there beside Ikitasha whineing obviously feeling the same way as him. He took a hand and gentle picked him up and put him on his lap. And started to gently stroke Hiaute's back.
T.K. tried to stop the tears, the scar tissue on her right eye beginging to swell. She kept holding her breath, making herself stop. She calmed herself down and then got down out of her chair. She turned and went to go to her room, to deal with this on her won, but she didn't have to do that any more. She glanced back at Ikitasha. "I'm going on a run." she said simply before going into her room, grabbing a jacket. She left ehr room and headed for the door. She needed to clear her head. Badly.
"Sure lets go now if you want to" he said and he grabbed his coat. He ran to get to the door and Hiaute ran to be with them. "No Hiaute not this time, ill make it up to you next time" he said pointing to Hiaute and Hiaute just whined and tilted his head. He knew very well that Hiaute wanted to run with Ikitasha but this is his moment to releive some steam and help out TK.
T.K. sprinted down the stairs and through the complex. She slowed down to a run when her feet touched the concrete of the sidewalk. Suddenly, her whole body was in rhythm with the rest of the world. She sighed and closed her eyes, feeling the cold of the air. She rolled her shoulders some as she ran.
"Hey wait up!" he said as he started to run after TK. He isnt going to let her out run him. He was the fastest man at his other schools. And he knew that he needed to help her out with stuff so he kept her in the lead for a great deal of time.
T.K. smirked back through her swollen eyes. "You didn't have to come, you know." she said before turning back to the front. She sprinted through an open gate and then began to run down the sidewalk of the small town. She passed up the cafe`, the music shop and the Mechanic's shop before stopping at the race course. She collasped into the soft grass there, trying to catch her breath.
"I wanted to come, a run would help me out" he said as he ran with her. He didnt want to collapse beside TK but he tripped and fell right next to her anyways. He wanted to help her out with what she was going through and it would help him to know her better. He still couldnt get out of his mind that the Hollowween dance is tomarrow.
T.K. rolled her eyes some, smiling. "Whatever." she mumbled. She stared at the race track, watching someone practice by themselves, the car swerving around each corner. Before getting up, she had run a hand through her hair. She stood there for a moment, just staring into space. She needed to sort out her thoughts, because now they were all squishing themselves into one huge thought that ate at her mind.
She sighed angerily and pulled at her hair, tugging it gently for a moment. "Dammit." she whispered, sighing. She shook her head and then sat down once more.
