At least I slept in this last night and got plenty of sleep. And there's plenty of coffee! And at least there's unlikely to be real work on the first day, just training. And it's the sit down kind of training. And a sexual harassment seminar for some reason, they do it on the first day for new employees. Maybe because they employ a lot of guys who don't know how to act around women? XD
-
I've gotta say... that's kind of hilarious. ><
"Hi. My name is Gregg." *shakes hands with boob*
"DAMMIT I'M DOING IT WRONG AREN'T I?!"
-
And that is how first day sexual harassment seminars began. xD Seriously I have never heard of this lol. Good lord! You only shake hands with boobs in Canada, dammit.
-
This is why I should move to Canada. America, we just high five with our shlongs... girls do it with their metaphorical shlongs.

WTF. I need to stop making up terrible things. >.> I'm going to get a reputation as "The Weird/Inappropriate One."
-
As a Canadian... I can only say.... wtf?
-
I'm Canadian too. And somehow half the people I know online are Canadian. xD Nonsense, Schiz, we all have that reputation here.
Lumine, what part of Canada you in?
-
lol Most Canadians I know online are from Ontario. x-x Only met one or two from Alberta, one on this site.
Alberta. Though I'm heading further west in due time. BC calls for me. Where you from?
-
My family's from Quebec but I'm raised in California. They all speak french but I ignored them as a kid so didn't pick any up. ._. [/pained regrets] Boyfriend and I are dying to visit Canada sometime. I think we both want to move there. xD I'm afraid aside from Quebec, though, I don't know two cents about the difference between the provinces.
-
Uh... this is off topic but I've been meaning to ask this FOREVER.
Eden, your icon? What's goin' on there?
-
Umm... well put it to you this way. Alberta is the Texas of Canada... and teh rest of the country hates us xD Quebec is a dick of a province who always wants money but insists on wanting to seperate from Canada andddd Ontario is stuffed with liberals, BC - pot junkies and hippies who hate Albertans for the oilsands... and... the rest of em you don't hear much about xD Where I am anyway. And... yeah had to take french immersion for about 9 years. Still managed to forget some of the language x-x;; It's strained, though I can understand it a heck of a lot better than I can speak it.
---------- Post added at 07:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:10 PM ----------
lol Schiz xD random much.
---------- Post added at 07:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:10 PM ----------
But if you want to move out here... I would suggest BC xD Beautiful province.
-
@Schizo: You asked! It's from this.
http://images.cheezburger.com/comple...80e77c068f.gif
@Lumine: Thank you, that helps a lot. xD Not exactly the sort of thing you'd get from Wikipedia! I love how Canadians know as much about the U.S. as we do, but we don't know anything about Canada. You're all just so....mysterious. xD
-
God which drama is that from? x-x;;
lol it's called Social class. Our history's so lame we have to learn about everyone else. I swear grade seven and eight, we're stuffed up on American History to the point where I wanted nothing to do with it. European culture is soo much more appealing. x-x;; Granted, the school systems vary. That was more or less my experience on it.
Anyway you're welcome ^.^ Any questions about Canada, I can try to help, specially if you're thinking more about moving out here.
-
It's not really something that'd ever happen in the next 5 years ago, so eh. xD I've plenty of people to go for, for advice about Canada.
Man, I can't imagine how much it'd suck to have to spend so much of history class on other countries! Then again, that's for the better, much more well rounded and less patriotic...
-
Hahahaa if you think Canadians aren't all that patriotic xD think again. All that learning about other countries induces a pride in our own culture and how... much 'better' it is. x-x;; Speaking in general terms anyway.
---------- Post added at 07:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:22 PM ----------
But I suppose there is pros and cons to it... I'm just feeling cynical at the moment x-x;;
-
Well, that's a better route to patriotism than... ONLY AMERICAN HISTORY ALL THE TIME EVERY TIME. AND IT'S ALL PERFECT SFKHDFSHDFJHDS derp
...you can tell I don't like how public schools teach history...
-
WHAT. O_O Lolololol.
*Knows nothing about Canada other than they have a hockey team called The Canucks!* (I'm terrible.)
-
I don't think I can really blame you there Eden. I may not like learning American or Canadian history, but learning about other countries and different perspectives once I got into high school made the course quite worth while. Having awesome teachers helps that along.
lol Schiz xD S'all good. We're not all that different from the states... people wise anyway.
-
I can add that history teachers seem to always be the best ones... maybe that is because I like history but I've never had a bad one. Every math teacher I've had though has been insane.
-
lol one of the math teachers at my school was a total pot head, used to jump onto his desk and break out into song... if he wasn't throwing erasers and rulers at the students. But I agree, the History/Social Studies teachers are usually the best. ;x; I miss my social teacher. Short Ukranian woman. Absolutely adorable, she dressed up as Lady Gaga for Halloween xDDD ..... -unnecessary babbling-
-
I love Literature teachers myself. And in my American Public school, we learned world history as well as American History. Although in college, I learn western art history which is actually almost more educational about history than history class was lol.
-
Hahaha! That's awesome! I never had a teacher that interesting but all my history teachers were either really relaxed dudes or this guy who looked like FDR, he was a BAMF.
Although I did have a math teacher who was the meanest woman ever then she lost her mind and then came back from her leave really bubbly and happy to the point she would play coldplay covers on her keyboard... and they were terrible.
-
I find Art History to be a lot more in depth in areas that aren't usually covered in normal History classes. Usually a lot more interesting too xD but I enjoy both myself.
lol that's awesome Schiz, can't say I've had many male teachers that I've liked though. x-x;;
And geezus, that's hilarious xD I had a french teacher in grade eight that did that, called her 'Bodzilla'... Course when she came back all happy it was cause her granddaughter was born... and three months later she's all psycho monster again. D'; She went and retired a year after I left the damned school. aksljfhsdf bahh x-x
-
You have had...really interesting teachers, Schiz. ._.
-
Yep. My favorite teacher of all time was actually a history teacher and I almost forgot. She had all the same hobbies as I did and when everyone told me I was weird she would sit down at my table during study break and talk to me about comics and music... it was pretty cool. Also insisted on complimenting my clothes or hair every day, which nobody did ever. So it was very strange but she made me get some self confidence.
-
-
Guys stop encouraging my rambling! @-@;
I just realized I rambled for like four posts... Ah. My middle aged neighbor added me on Facebook... hm. He is a strange man.
---------- Post added at 10:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:07 PM ----------
Eden, my Deryn playlist is horrible. :l
-
x-x;; Rambling.... is.... fun...
But I have to go now xD Gameee date xDD
Later Ardent folks!
-
Schizo I'm sure it's fine <3 Still, take your time if you're not content with it yet. ^^
That is kind of really creepy Schiz.
Lume: Have fun! What kind of game date?
-
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood with my Nyan <333 xDD but yesss baibai~ <33 At least... for awhile >;3
-
O: Game date? If I think that is what it is Lumine just got 10 snazz points. c:
The thing is, I don't know if he is creepy or not. He might just be really friendly, because he has a wife and kids and stuff so... he can't be that creepy.
-
Oooh, I love that game. Have fun Lume!
Just...don't end up in a ditch somewhere! We love you too much Schizo! Q_Q
-
He is shorter than me, so I think I could take him... xD
5'9'' over here. BUAH I'm enormous for a female~~~ I could easily step on Deryn and Cas. :p
-
Schizo smash! Oh, pfeh, anyone could step on those two. Oh so many old posts Cain and Fort made in the old game about poor Cas gazing at their belly buttons...on that note, I'm still cackling at the situation poor Alcy's gotten herself into.
-
is alcy really that screwed over lol?
-
No, not really. I'm sure Fort would just thank her for making Cas less evil. xD But it's a funny situation nonetheless. And it shall only grow funnier when Barasa gets in, or Cain...oh, the things Kolloposa has planned for Cain...
-
???
I'm lost. But amused.
-
I'd just give up on making any sense of our ramblings... : P
-
probably would be best.
Also I want Cain to come back. Alcy is dying to tell him about what she said to Cas lol.
-
Yeah, I think Kolloposa's been busy. I miss Cain's posts so bad. ._.
-
Well lovelies, I'm off to snuggle up in bed with a good book and try to fall asleep.
Good luck on your first day tomorrow, Eden! I can't wait to hear all about it when you get home. (Assuming the Sexual Harassment Seminar is as hilarious as I hope it will be. I.E. Rules like don't shake hands with boobs.)
Anyway~ Sweet dreams all!
