"Thanks." I said, taking the bowl and I sat at the table by her . I took several bites, and before I knew it, it was gone. I stood and I put my bowl in the sink.
I went and washed the bowls, then I put them up and turned to her. "Better?"
I nodded. "Yes. Ill be right back." I said, and I headed to the bathroom... another thing about me. Ive been lathargic for three months now.. I didnt make myself throw up all the time. Just occasionally when I think I had to.. I did my thing, and was glad I had mastered doing it very quietly. I brushed my teeth three times, hating the taste of it when it came up.. and I stepped out, and headed back into the kitchen smiling. Doing that, ive lost 30 pounds and counting.. good right?..
She looked a little pale, and I frowned. "Are you okay?" I asked, crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow.
I furrowed my brows in confusion. "Yeah, why?" I asked herx and I leaned against the counter.
"You look kinda peaky." I replied with a shrug. I got out a coke and took her hand, leading her upstairs.
I gave her hand a gentle squeeze once we got to her room. "So. What should we do?" I asked her, feeling bad that I was so boring.
I shrugged. "Anything." I replied, flopping down on my bed and stretching out like a cat.
"What aboouutt..." I thought. "Gosh im boring.. I dont know." I said, with a small laugh. My voice a little scratchy. Shit.
I looked up at her. "Um... You okay?" I asked suspiciously. She's acting and sounding weird.
"Im fine." I said, snd I took her hand and squeezed it. "Its probably from yelling so much in volleyball." I said, trying to cover the really slighty scratch in my voice.
I frowned, and I smelled mint. "When did you brush your teeth?" I asked.
"When I went in the bathroom." I said, staring at her. Was she catching on?
"Well.. Okay then.." I answered with a shrug. I kissed her cheek and then went to the bathroom to brush the ramen out. While I was there, I smelled a faint odor. Throw up?
I sat and waited patiently for her, and I played a game.on my phone while waiting. What was taking her so long?
I frowned and sprayed the room with fabreeze. I waked back into my room. "Did you get sick or something?" I asked.
"Yeah... sorry...." I said, and I looked down. "I feel fine now.." I said, and I set my phone down.
I frowned. "Okay...." I answered, sitting on my bed and then laying down
"I should've told you.. sorry.." I said, and I laid by her and I kissed her cheek. That was probably a major turn off. Great..
I sighed and closed my eyes. "It's okay." I answered, closing my eyes and pulling her close. I've dealt with a lot of throw up in my time.
I snuggled close to her, and I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. "Night.." I whispered.
"Goodnight." I answered softly, closing my eyes and slowly drifting off.
I did the same, falling into yet another dreamless sleep.. I hated these ones..
I woke up the next morning and sat up, yawning softly and looking down at Adira.
I groaned softly, and I opened my eyes, very sore from volleyball.. I looked up at her, and smiled slightly.
I smiled back and kissed her forehead. "Good morning." I said softly.
"Morning.." I said, and I sat up wincing. Crap.. I hate the two days after practice..
I frowned and rubbed her back gently. "Are you okay?" I asked softly.
"Just sore from practice." I said. If I stretched, it would feel a little better.
I nodded. "I see." I answered, kissing her cheek. "Are you hungry? I could make pancakes."
I nodded. "Yeah, sounds good." I said, and I stood slowly. "Hold on.." I said, and I did some stretches, including the splits both ways. When done I stood. "Okay, much better."
I chuckled and got up, going to the kitchen. I made us both some pancakes, and I handed her a plate.
I took th plate and smiled. "Thanks." I said, and I sat down and ate it. "Sleep good?" I asked her, taking a bite.
I sat down and nodded. "Yes. Did you?" I asked, taking a bite.
I nodded. "Yep." I said, and I smiled seeing she had something in the corner of her mouth. "You have a little something.." I began, and I kissed her softly, smiling when it was gone. "Got it.."
I blushed and looked down, smiling softly. "Thanks." I answered, taking a sip of my orange juice.
I felt my cheeks get red and I continued to eat, not planning to get rid of my meal this time.
After breakfast, I cleaned the dishes, then I went and took a quick shower, getting ready for the day.
I took my hair out of my braid and I let my now wavy hair fall. What would we do today?
I came out and smiled, wrapping my arms around her waist. "You're so beautiful." I said softly.
