As Fallen pulled into the driveway, he noticed that Ella was asleep. He got out of the car and gently picked up Ella and took her to her room. He sat her down on her bed and gave her a small kiss on the forehead, before going back and putting all of her merchandise in her room. He then left quietly and sat on the couch.
Arianna lowered herself to the ground in silence. He was confusing her. It was easier when everyone acted like her enemy ... she didn't feel any guilt or mercy because of it ... but when he was acting this way, she wasn't sure what path to set herself on ... "Don't come any closer", she warned lowly, her voice trembling slightly and her eyes fading to a calm violet tone. Jasper took another step towards her despite this, kneeling down to where she sat on the cold ground. "You don't have to be what everyone says your supposed to be, Ari. I'm not like the rest of them", he murmured, referring to the majority of the Angels. "Neither are you", he stated as he stared into her eyes, although she seemed to be avoiding his.
He jumped lightly and looked over to her. "Hey." He said quietly.
He shook his head no. "I feel empty inside..."
He shook his head again. "I just know that it doesn't feel right..."
S'all good.
He squeezed back lightly. "I don't know how to talk about it. I've been alone for so long... I used to just practice fencing to get rid of the feeling, but my sabre is getting fixed at the shop." He said quietly. "I don't know what to do now, to feel whole again...."
"My instincts?..." He questioned and tried to listen to them. All he heard was silence. "They are silent..."
"I... I hope it will be okay." He shook his head and tilted his head forward, letting it rest against hers.
Hope gave a small smile. "Yeah... I could use one..."
"So far, your all I need." He said with a blush on his face.
"A little." He said, bringing her into a hug.
"Maybe..." He whispered as he lightly kissed her neck.
"Is all of you too much to ask?" He questioned.
"Then I'll have that." He said with a smile as he snuggled closer to her.
His eyes began to droop, as he didn't sleep well the night previously. Before he fell asleep he loosened his grip on her and softly said, "Tu sei la mia luce. Mi fai sentire completa."
When Fallen woke up, he noticed two things. One, that he fell asleep on the couch. Two, Ella was on top of him, sleeping as well.
'I could say two things here... I'll choose the better option..' "No we didn't do anything." He paused for a second. "Unless you did something while I was sleeping..."
He sighed in relief. "Oh thank goodness. I don't want to lose my virginity in my sleep...." Hope paused. "This really shouldn't be the first thing to talk about when waking up.... Want food?"
"I would love to, but I'm comfy as crap with you on top of me." He said with a smile upon his face.
"Funny?" He shrugged. "I guess."
"I feel in the mood to play some games."
He was thoughtful for a minute. "I don't think we should play poker again, considering I beat you pretty bad last time. That and we are out of goldfish crackers. Hm.... I don't think I have any good board games..."
He racked his brain for a few minutes, thinking of what they could bet with besides money and poker chips since those were stolen long ago. "The only thing that can come to my mind that won't get messy would be clothes...." Hope answered shyly.
Fallen blushed. "You don't know how strip poker works?"
"Well... Every time a person loses a hand, they have to give up the outer most layer of clothing. The person with the most clothing on at the end wins."
"It does?" He asked, surprised about her decision. "Well... okay then. Where do you wanna play it?"
"Your room it is!" He spoke.
He nodded and rose to his feet and headed to her room.
He pulled out a deck of cards, shuffled them thoroughly, cut the deck twice, and dealt the hand.
"Besides the privilege of seeing the other person naked?" He questioned, "When ever I get that check for $1000, the winner will be able to use it on what ever that person wants."
He looked at his hand. "I bet my shoes."
"Not that good of a hand," He explained. "The better the hand, the more important stuff you use as your bet. My hand isn't very good as of now, and is only worth my shoes, the least worthy thing to bet in strip poker. You follow?"
He nodded. "I'll call." Hope discarded one card from the deck, and laid three face up. "I'll bet my socks and under shirt."
He put the top card of the deck on the discard pile and put another card next to the three face up cards. "I'll bet my pants." He said with confidence.
He smirked and flipped the last card, showing a 10, a King, a Jack, a Two, and a Five on the bed. "All in."
I assumed we were playing poker. You know like Texas Hold 'em or something along those lines. That would be Strip Poker. Blackjack would be Strip Blackjack.
Its all good.
I lost track as well in all honesty.
