"Fairly Simple. I'll teach you, If you help me not suck at bowling so much." I said, with a chuckle. I took a bite of my Tamale. Heaven.. I glanced up, To see our eyes meet. Wow.. He really is stunning isn't he?
I held her gaze for a few moments before I adverted my eyes and sipped my drink. "Deal." I answered. After we were done eating, I paid and then grinned at her. "Thanks for coming to lunch with me."
"Yes, No problem." I said, and I stood. "Thanks for taking me out." I said. "so, My place for coffee?" I asked, looking up again, I felt my cheeks get hot.
I smiled and nodded. "Of course." I touched her cheek gently. "You're blushing." I said, my voice amused. We got in my car and I drove to her house.
"N..no." I said, grinning. And when we got to my house, I was grateful I had cleaned my house the other day, and it still looked great. "Sugar or cream?" I asked as I began to make coffee.
"Cream." I answered, leaning against the wall and watching her. I've been in this house loads of time. We often visited each other to pour over files and such. Never really on a personal level.. Until now.
I felt my cheeks heat up again. Gosh. I made the coffee and ooured some creamer in his coffee then handed it to him. I made my own, and took a drink. Hot.. both him and the coffee. "This is different, not talking about the cases and such."
I nodded and shrugged. "Yeah... It's kind of nice." I replied, sipping my coffee. Yum. I ran my hand through my hair once and then smiled charmingly at her. "So.. What would you like to talk about?" I asked.
"Well. What made you want to have lunch with me?" I asked, just pure curiosity. I wasnt used to nice little things like that. Last boyfriend was a nightmare.
I shrugged. "I don't know... I just thought it would be nice to take a beautiful girl like you out." I smiled at her and sipped my coffee once again, looking around.
I chuckled, and felt my cheeks turn pink again. The things he can do.. "Thank you.." I said. I felt my sleeve going down, and I pulled it up on my shoulder again. I didnt want my cuts to show.
I saw something strange on her shoulder but she slipped her sleeve back up before I could tell what it was. "What was that?" I asked, stepping forward and gently pulling down her sleeve. I frowned when I saw the cuts. "...What happened?"
I swallowed hard, looking down.. "I.. nothing.." I said, I couldnt look anyone in the eyes and lie. There was a lot he didnt know about me. The fact I suffered from depression half the time. and that I turned to self harm.
I frowned. "Toria, I'm a special agent. I can tell when someone's lying." I put her sleeve back in place, then I pulled her into a warm hug. "I'm here, okay?"
His hug was so warm and caring.. ive never really felt rhat before.. I felt tears come to my eyes, and I wrapped my arms around him..
I rubbed her back gently and closed my eyes. She always seems so confident and strong. I would never thought she was hurting so much..
I slowly let go and wiped my eyes. "Sorry.. its just.. you actually seem to care.. I havent had that in a long long time.." I said, looking up into his eyes
I smild and gently tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "I do care. I've always cared." I gently kissed her forehead.
"Thank you.." I said, and I wiped my eyes again. "Probably not used to this, huh? Im good at hiding this I guess." I said, with a soft chuckle,
"You most definitely are." I answered with a small smile. I leaned back against the wall and finished my coffee. "Thanks for the coffee."
"Yeah.. no problem." I said. "You like movies? We could watch one if you want." I said. I loved having company.
I smiled. "Sure!" I replied. We went to the living room and we decided on The Heat. A really funny movie with my favorite actress, Sandra Bullock.
I turned the lihhts off before sitting beside him, not too close, but not far. Didnt want to seem clingy. This movie was actually really good!
I laughed loudly as the two cops got drunk together and were doing stupid stuff. I love this movie. I glanced at Toria and was glad to see that she was smiling.
I chuckled, and I scooted closer, resting my head softly on his shoulder. Hope he didnt mind.. my stomach began to hurt, from laughing as much as we had
I smiled and leaned my head against hers slightly as we watched the movie. "This movie is fucking hilarious." I commented with a chuckle.
"It is," I said, looking up at him, my eyes felt heavy, and I glanced back at the screen. I slowly began to black out, unintentionally falling asleep.
After the movie was over, I glanced down and saw that she was asleep. I chuckled softly and carried her to her room, kissing her forehead before leaving to go home.
I woke up the next morning in my bed. What the? Then I remembered. I checked the time, seeing I was late for work, I jumped up and got ready quickly and grabbed my car keys and I opened my front door to realize.. its fucking Saturday. "Oh my god.." I said before slumping onto the couch.
I woke up and made myself some bacon, watching a movie. Since I had today off, I was going to be lazy today. I laid in bed, playing Grand Theft Auto.
