The Coming Darkness

It was clear Harley was in a damn good mood as she sauntered her way around the building, singing one of her favorite tunes to herself. "Buy my casket gown... it betta be black, it betta be tight, it betta be just my size~." There was a smudge of red lipstick on her neck that made how she had just spent her time all the more intriguing. But it was a well known fact, Harley was a hell of a charmer when she had gotten hold of booze.

She had stumbled toward a room that seemed to have the most divine smell trailing from it's slightly cracked doors. "Hello~?" She poked her head in, examine the room to see that none other than Kira was seated down beside the table. "Well, well, well! There you are!" Her hazy eyes noted David was there as well, "And specs too?! This better not be a date!" She hiccuped a little at the end of that sentence, the now empty flask shaking about in her coat pocket.

Kira had dug in as soon as it was allowed. She'd been more or less, starving. Still no signs of Harley. I'll look for her after I eat. She decided. Just means I'll have to hurry. While there was plenty of food, she was worried about the mischief her friend would get into. The longer Harley wasn't there, the more trouble could happen.

As she ate, Silver yelled something and ran out, only to return with a tired looking male. Voli-something. Hm. Went straight to the sister. They're probably an item. Or just really close friends. Hearing a very familiar voice, Kira smiled. "Where have you been?" She asked, turning to look at Harley. Raising an eyebrow at her drnken state, she stood and walked towards her. "Of course not. --you drank on an empty stomach. Oh boy." Closer inspection, and by scent, revealed Harley Was tipsy. "You didn't share. Hurts, sweet." Leading her to the table, she smirked. "Eat and be merry."

As much as Enzo tried, he couldn't help but eat his food more savagely than the others. This led to him finishing his food quite early, but he wasn't done yet. Just as he stood to reach over for more, Silver had darted across the room, and then, both her and Voli emerged from outside. "Volitaire!" He shouted. He didn't need to move, as Voli came over to give him the signature pat on the back. He couldn't even begin to express how relieved he was to have Voli rejoin them. "You came just in time to eat, pal!"He informed his necromancer friend as he refilled his own plate and sat back down.

Just after Voli had entered, so did a new person, this boy's magical presence felt odd. "A-are you okay?" Enzo asked the boy with the mohawk hair. He had not seen him around the school, but he DID look familiar. "Ohohoho.." Red silently laughed to himself once he had envisioned what was to follow next.

As Kira came toward her, Harley leaned into her beautiful companion and grinned from ear to ear. "No, no, no! We just have to find that alcohol-ol-ic of a teacher! I bet he has tons more!" She held a hand over her mouth as if she was trying to be secretive, but her tone was no where near a whisper.

But when Enzo's voice hit her ears, they wiggled slightly and she turned her head to him. "Me? Absolutely dandy, little one- hic!" She remarked, holding onto Kira but leaning toward Enzo. "What's it to ya?" And with that she flicked the center of the boys forehead and chuckled. It seemed that around the same time, a male she hadn't met yet had begun to laugh just the same - not at what she thought he was laughing about, but it was good timing. "This guy... he gets it." Her finger pointed to red.

Kira smirked. "Is that so?" She could guess just which teacher it was. There hadn't been many, and Harley said he. Holding onto the girl, Kira glanced over at Enzo. "She'll be alright." Chuckling, she shook her head. It was still a concern, but at least her friend was here. Spotting a bottlein brown paper bag, she raised an eyebrow. "Oh, lookie here. We didn't have to go far, after all." What a surprise. Leading Harley to the table, she motioned for her to take a seat. "Sit sit. You must be starving."

Enzo flinched back when Harley plucked him. Something didn't feel right about this person. Then, he looked over to Kira who seemed to be explaining for him. She? He wondered. It's a girl? He gave it a moment of thought, but ultimately accepted it. She didn't look like a girl, or gave off a female vibe. The mohawk was kind of cool, he figured.


He had many questions, and he wasn't going to lead them into a fight they know nothing about. His facial expression turned more stern as he thought about it's urgency. He stood up from his seat, facing everyone in the room. "Everyone, a moment, please." He spoke in a serious tone, and it was loud enough for it to be heard over the common chatter.
"I hope none of us have forgotten why we're here." He scanned the room, his eyes moving from left to right, looking over both familiar faces and new. "I'm going to be honest with you all, this fight that we're going into will take the lives of many if we mess it up. We cannot afford to lose our focus, or neglect our training." He paused a moment. "I don't expect any of you to follow me to our deaths, but if you're going to fight, don't do it because we're friends, or anything like that."

Again, he looked around the room. "If anyone isn't willing to fight, please finish your dinner and return to the other students. We.. cannot afford any distractions." Enzo didn't want to hold their lives in his hands, considering he was their 'boss'. So he gave them a final chance to back out, because there was no more stopping from here on out.

It was all or nothing.

Something had set this kid off, but his tone and expression switched in a blink of an eye. Listening in, Harley couldn't help but feel like this wasn't a place she wanted to linger by. Those sea green eyes of hers looked at Kira, waving her hand about the air - motioning that she wasn't staying long. "No, I came for you Kira. What is all this anyway?" She still didn't really know what was going on with this group of kids, but she didn't want one of the most important people in her life to take any of the risks Enzo had so sternly explained.

"I got my ass dragged away from home, and I only came here to stay with Kira. You aren't planning on going into battle with this kid as your leader, are you?" She stumbled a bit and tugged on her friends shirt, "What do we have to do with any of this? Nothing!" Harley wasn't the noble type, but she knew Kira was...

With his blood-alcohol content in check, Marcus was finally able to begin his search for the feast. His gut was still aching and now was churning from the addition of the booze to an empty stomach. In hindsight, he probably didn't think that one through very well.
In an attempt to hide his grief, he strolled nonchalantly through the hallways, taking a whiff by every door he passed in hopes of catching the scent of...oh, yeah, the door labelled 'Dining Hall' probably would've been a good place to start. He slapped his palm against his face and dragged it down his cheek, letting out a grunt in response to his own absent-mindedness. Swinging open the door, he stepped inside and observed the students lounging about, talking among themselves, laughing, enjoying the beautiful feast in front of them. However, one of them seemed a bit loopier than the others. It was one of the Americans, and all though she irradiated uniqueness from every pore, something was off. Namely, her staggering, stammering and overall 'playful' attitude. She was intoxicated. As a teacher, he had to initiate corrective behavior. Regardless if she attended the school or not, she was still under his supervision.
Marcus walked silently behind the students, shimmying towards the beverage table. There was wine here, but given the age range of the teens, it probably had little to no alcoholic proof. He discreetly poured himself of glass of water, eyeing his target's mannerism. Before he could approach the punk-rocker however, Enzo had stood to give a speech in regards to their mission objective, which, was swiftly interrupted by the drunk American attempting to slander the boy's reputation. He stepped in and grabbed the girl's shoulder lightly, "You, hall, now." He spoke in a stern voice, attempting to stare her down, but not intimidate her.

Harley hadn't noticed the teacher she had swiped the booze off enter, and before she could try and mask her behavior she found a heavy hand on her shoulder. "Ah..., friggin' A." She spoke under her breath and rolled her eyes. If she was in the right state of mind she would have walked out quietly, leaving the scene she had already begun to cause behind her in as dignified of a way as she could, but instead she just proceeded to salute Kira and speak in a tone louder than necessary, "Well I'm off on a date with Professor 100 Proof!" And she turned on her heel slightly bumping into him before leading the way out, head held high.

Volitaire's frown lifted into a faint smile. He could tell if something was wrong with her. So much time spent with Enzo's terrible lying made it easier for him to read if someone was hiding their problems from him. He combed her hair with his fingers letting each individual finger race each other down her hair, and titled his head. "Eos... I know something's wrong. But, I should tend to JD, he's waited long enough for my help." He gave her a brief but embracing hug, squeezing her to show how much he's missed her. He pulled back an walked over to JD."So have you been having any episodes since last I saw you?" He looked up to him with his fringe covering over his eyes. Talking to JD made him feel so terribly short, and his overgrown head of hair made it a bit of a trouble to see sometimes.

Watching the strange turn of events go down, David ate his food slowly. First, Silver went out to the hall and brought Volitaire back in. He went to Eos, of course. Then all of a sudden Harley came in, appearing to be a bit loopy. Kira mentioned something about drinking on an empty stomach, and it all made sense. He shook his head a bit and ate the last of his food before standing up and looking to Enzo. "Well, if anyone needs me, I'm going to go find a place where I can beat something up. Y'know, train a bit." He glanced at Kira and Dora, who seemed to be getting along just fine, and walked to the door. "Ciao, everyone." As he left, he passed by Harley and Marcus having a little discussion, and couldn't help but smirk a little. Somehow, he figured it might end up like this.

Silver huffed at Volitaire as he didn't explain what he meant at all. Was it so bad to want to know where her only alive family member was and what he was doing? 'Second trump card' didn't answer anything. She sat back down in her seat, frowning at him. She took a sip of water and turned as she heard David was leaving. Training? Maybe that would be good for her too. She stood up and walked out after her him, passing by Harley and Marcus as well, but avoiding eye-contact at all. "David, I'll come with you. I need to train a bit too."

David paused as he heard her voice, and turned to see her walking towards him. "Huh, well, alright. We can fight each other." Silver rolled her eyes. "Are you kidding? I don't want to kill you." David turned and started walking again. "Pretty cocky aren't you.." he mumbled. "What was that?" "Oh, nothing, nothing."

He did his best not to cause a scene in an effort to not disturb those still trying to eat, but of course, a rowdy, underage drinker wasn't going to go quietly. Marcus let out a heavy sigh, his hand still on Harley's shoulder and pushing her softly towards the exit. "I'm sorry everyone." He turned and said before entering the hallway.
The teacher crossed his arms standing in front of the tipsy teen, contemplating what exactly he would say to her. He tilted his head to the side, seeing if the girl's eyes would follow the movement, but of course, they didn't. This wasn't going to be a very easy conversation, the girl obviously has an issue with authority, stemming from a possible lack of parental supervision growing up. Though he wasn't trying to be a psychologist, he grew up with people like her, and witnessed first hand the aftermath of the acting-out behavior.
"Harley, right? Listen, I'm not upset with you. You're what, seventeen? Eighteen? You're almost an adult now, but all because you're almost one, doesn't mean you can drink like one." It became obvious at this point, with each of her scoffs and pouts that the whiskey coming off her breath was indeed his particular brand. When his flask fell from his pocket, she must have been the one to pick it up. He proceeded to give her a mini-lecture about alcoholism and the effects it has on the body and the mind, and where she would be heading if her actions were to continue, "...I know you're unique, and that's awesome, it's you, and no one can ever change that...look, I'm sorry, I know I'm not your Father, or your guardian, or whatever, but you're under my supervision while you're here. And I'm just trying to keep you safe." He held out an open palm, "Now please, can I have my flask back?"

Harley was never the type to admit she was wrong, even when it was clear that she was. She had stayed relatively quiet during his lecture, but mainly because the booze was getting to her in such a way that it made putting up a fight far more a challenge than she had realized. Drinking on an empty stomach, and drinking something as strong as that was a bad idea for her slim form.

As he held out an open palm, she eyed it before trailing her glance upward into his forest green eyes that hid behind square framed glasses. Without saying a word, she fell forward, letting her face press into his chest. A muffled voice making it's way up to his ears. "You can have it back on one condition..." She used her hands to press against his chest and gain a bit of stability to look up at him, "...carry me to my room." She offered a grin before nodding at his broad shoulders, "Looks like you could manage that."

After he said what he had to say, Enzo plopped backwards into his seat once more. Harley's rant was understandable. Enzo wasn't a fit leader for these people, and he really didn't want to consider himself one. He just found the natural urge to 'show the way' for people. As I expected... He let out a sigh, and finished his second plate of food quickly.

Marcus had come out from half court and took Harley away, but why? He didn't understand, so he left the matter alone. What mattered was that he had his friends with him. He stood up from his chair. "I'm heading in, it's getting late and i'm sure we have to train tomorrow."" He said to everyone before turning back and heading through his apparently assigned bedroom.

Faint sounds of rain and waves crashing against the island filled the room as he turned the lightswitch on, and closed the door behind him. The atmosphere made Enzo thing harder on the situation with Kenji, his memories, and his mother, Aries, who had been murdered by a GodHunter.


Enzo wasn't one for revenge, but he felt the burning hate inside him start to grow as he thought more on it. Why is everything hidden from me? What reason? As he struggled to find the logic, he fell back onto his bed, and instantly found himself getting sleepy. The sound of the rain outside intensified that.

JD inevitably found himself in the conference area with everyone else. Eos had seemed flustered and confused- and honestly he didn’t know what was going on. Unfortunately that hadn’t had much time to talk considering they had both gone their separate ways shortly after arriving to this base. He had gotten a bit of a wild streak about him and explored the base. More than once he had ducked away into a plane and fiddled with all the obsolete nobs and buttons. Then he had managed to rummage through one student’s bag and procure an entire bag of chips- which he then devoured in his little hidey-hole of a plane.

So now he was here, and returning to stuffing his face. One might have assumed JD hadn’t eaten all day, but the poor kid was bottomless pit hovering over an abyss with a black hole attached to it. The next order of business he figured was locating Silver and showing the plane that he had managed to sneak into. He figured they needed some alone time. “Seriously,” JD pointed at Eos’s plate. “You are eating all of that? How dare you be a healthy and heart-minded individual. You’re not going to outlive me E- no matter how many precautions you take.”

Silver wasn’t eating anything. Honestly JD was going to have to find something she enjoyed and pilfer it away to the plane. The love of his life wasn’t going to starve on his watch. Yet before he could ask what was wrong everyone broke out into a chorus of ‘Voltaire’, and JD nearly choked. “And now everyone’s panties got wet.” He hissed a bit, and returned to his meal.
Enzo rallied the troupes, and of course JD was with them all- he would be hard pressed not to be.

Sometime later- between this third of fourth helping- he found himself confronted by Voltaire. JD stood up and wiped his mouth quickly on a napkin. “Eh- what you don’t see my sister for a while and you just give her a hug? Bloody hell- go do a lot more than that. There are almost four planes I counted you can break into it and some of them are bombers.” He waggled a finger at the other boy. “I’m fine.” JD remarked- and it was a lie. He had felt compelled to say it, and now he felt compelled to visit the bathroom. “And now the john is calling me. Go have fun- you aren’t young forever.” With that the blonde haired boy broke out in a hustle towards the bathroom.
About that time he nearly collided with Marcus and Harley in the hallway. There was a heavy smell of booze in the air, and he glanced at the obvious inebriation in the mohawked girl’s face. “Oh no- someone got busted.” JD smirked. “Throw it over to me- I’ll hide the evidence.” He stated blatantly in front of the teacher with his widest shit-eating grin.

Volitaire hung his head to hide his sudden fluster. He thought a hug was suitable, a peck on the cheek or lips probably would've caused his face to set on fire. Especially in front of JD. "Well, glad you're at least alright." He said with a pout. He was so bothered by his own embarrassment he hadn't considered if JD was lying for him not to worry either. Before he knew it he was off to the restrooms. Volitaire snickered and thought of a little bathroom joke after he went through the doors. "Well, JD's a tough guy... Though I still worry." He said thinking out loud. He caught himself and shut his mouth. He hated making random little outbursts like that, they were almost impulsive you could say. "Hey, E. I know you're bothered by something... Why won't you tell me what's wrong?" His cheeks were still red, even more so now that he's beginning to get sentimental with Eos.

Before Marcus could say anything else, the girl's eye lulled up into his and her body swayed to and fro, finally collapsing forward, straight into his chest. Of course his natural reaction was to catch her, his arms flung around her thin frame in what looked like an embrace. But as always, this couldn't be the end of his embarrassment. His cheeks flared a bright red when she uttered, or more so slurred, a request for him to carry her to her room. The situation was no more so helped by the sudden appearance of a certain English bloke, who was making quips in regards to Harley's current situation.
"Shoo, this isn't any of your concern." Marcus spoke softly to the teen, pointing away from himself and down the hall.
He looked back at the American girl, still a bit shocked by what she had said. Though it was expected of a drunk girl in the presence of an older gentleman. "I...uh..well..." He stammered, "Alright, fine. I'll take you to your room, but understand, I'm just humoring you. You probably should rest anyway." With a swift swoop of his arms, he was cradling the thin girl, who's head now rested on his shoulder. "Okay, where is your room anyway?"

Harley peered around the professor to see JD, that good looking Brit from earlier. "Oh why hello there, ol' chap!" She hiccuped and giggled to herself after a poor and slightly racist impression. (Giggling was only something the girl did when intoxicated.)

But before she knew it, the teacher had graciously complied to carry the girl away to her room. And a good thing too seeing as things were starting to get rather "spinny". "Uhm, my room... this way... I think! I wrote it on my hand so I wouldn't forget..." She looked on the back of her hand and it said 2C, so on the second floor it was the third room down on the left. "Do you get your own room... Professor.... uhmm..." She couldn't remember his name, or if he had ever told it to her, so instead she just trailed off and let her head relax backward before waving at the blonde they were leaving behind. "Ta ta!"

Her eyes fell back to the man carrying her, and she bluntly made an observation. "You're blushing."

She never thought the words would leave her lips, but as she hung her head at the table she sighed. "I'm afraid you wouldn't understand..." She watched JD leave the room and wanted nothing more than to talk with him about what was going on, but he fled for a reason. She knew it. She had that feeling. They were twins after all, she knew when something was wrong.

"I'm not hungry all of a sudden, have you eaten? You seem weak again..." Her eyes brought themselves to his as she took a step close to him. Without hesitation she leaned in, closing her eyes and gave him a soft kiss on the lips, transferring a bit of magic through him.

He leaned into her kiss, feeling the relaxing sensation of her magic slipping through the kiss and into his body. He felt energized again, he pulled back from the kiss and look at her through his fallen locks of hair. Though, he looked disappointed. "That's fine. I have eaten... But not a lot. I plan on going back to train. Would you like to come with me?" He began playing in her hair again. He couldn't help it. Her hair was silky to the touch, so soft, her strands fell through his caramel fingers. In the back of his head he thought about Enzo. He barely has been giving him any attention since Eos showed up. It pained him to be away from him, and he wondered if it hurt him too. The fight they had back at Sorcerers haunted him. Was that him showing anger towards Volitaire for not being such a good friend...?

At this point, Ines's stomach was hungering for satisfaction, and she happily made her way into the dining area, taking a spot away from the group of students and beginning to eat her dinner by herself, glancing a bit at the cluster of students- particularly the one that seemed slightly intoxicated. Her brows furrowed at the thought, but she knew that Marcus was talking to her. Hopefully he'd take care of the androgynous looking female soon.

Meanwhile, you had Sasha devouring almost everything in her sight; the female hadn't had any food for a while now. She didn't really pay attention to the people around her, only focusing on the food in front of you.

Adorra sighed, finished her wine, went over an refilled her glass, excused herself with the glass at hand, and walked out of the area where most were still dining. She went back into the room where she was preciously and sat down near the changing screen against a wall. She pulled out what looked be an old Grimore from her shoulder bag and she opened the book to her surprise a lengthy letter had fallen into lap.

My Dearest Adorra,

I hope this letter finds you well, I'm sorry your childhood didn't amount to much. There is hope though, one day I will get to see you again my child. I relied on the Nun's to see that you got this on your twelfth birthday, but I highly doubt that obliged. There's so much to tell you, I just don't know how I'm going to get it all written down. You see, whilst I carried you in my womb we were in hiding. I came Ireland and stayed with the Nuns just weeks before you were born....

The rest of the pages were blank, Adorra's heart feeled with grief. She had hoped to find some form of peace and happiness from the one thing her Mother left to her, but all it had given her thus far was great Sadness. She didn't even know her name, she closed the book, placed it on her lap, and drank some more wine.

David and Silver had come across a large, empty room which looked to be an old gym. They went inside and Silver almost gagged at the stench. "Ugh.. Did someone die in here or something?" David shrugged and laughed at her. "C'mon, there's worse smells out there. This is nothing." He walked into the center of the room and looked around. "Hmm, this will do." Looking back to Silver, he grinned. "So, you wanna take me on, huh?" Silver rolled her eyes. "I'll practice with my swords. No magic, because I seriously don't want to kill you."

David's grin faded. He glared at her, crossed his arms, and began to pout. "I'm not weak because I don't have magic.. But fine, as you wish. Whatever." He reached into his pockets and pulled out his two long daggers. "Blade vs. blade. Come on." His tone seemed a bit less playful than it had been earlier. He was clearly bugged that she didn't want to use her magic, and he wanted to make her use it. He swayed back and forth a little, waiting for her to attack. "Fine." She narrowed his eyes and glared at him as she pulled out her trusty swords, looking them over a bit before starting. When she looked up to see what David was doing, she saw one of his blades flying at her head. She moved to the side quickly to dodge it, but it did cut a bit of her hair.
"David, what the hell?!"

"You don't need to make sure your swords are all clean and pretty when you're about to fight." He stood there with a serious look on his face. Silver simply glared back, looking back to her hair. He cut quite a chunk off. "I'm gonna kill you..."
She charged at him, sliced at him, and he blocked. Thus, their battle began.

It wasn't long before Enzo slipped away from reality and into his dream world. Lately, his dreams have been more flashbacks then regular dreams. The more he remembered about his past, the more fragments of the past would be revealed to him. This one, however, would trouble him.

And so, the flames of the candles are blown out, and it's followed by an applause. Enzo was having another birthday. Around him were the entities, Aries, and his friends, way before conflict had broken out. Enzo eyed his gifts on the otherside of the room, but had to get through his cake first, which was no problem.

After everyone had a slice of the cake and it was mostly gone, Enzo was permitted to open the gifts. Most of them contained small-time things, but one gift was smaller then the others. It peaked Enzo's curiosity. "I wonder what this one is?" Enzo thought out loud as he opened it up to find several rings inside. "Rings..?" He picked them up and examined them. Aries walked up beside him, putting a hand on his shoulder. "It's for your protection, Sky." "Protection? Why would I need that?" Destruction bursted out laughing when he heard that out of Enzo. "Because you keep getting into trouble over meaningless things." "They aren't meaningless things! Alot of people need my help out there..."


Destruction sighed. "He's just like you, Aries. Always trying to help people when it's out of his way.It's going to cost the poor boy later on." "That's just how he is. Alot of people will cherish him like we do." While the conversation was going on, Enzo was putting on his rings, barely paying attention to whatever they were saying. They're kind of cool, I guess. He thought as he wiggled his fingers and letting the rings catch the light.

Enzo tossed and tuned in his bed, the noise of the rain outside playing a sleepy spell on him as another flashback came his way.

Sometime in the future, the Gaze was on fire. Warships fell out of the sky, half of the city around the fortress was destroyed, and everyone scattered. Enzo, along with a group of other kids were just having fun in the woods before this happened. And now, they offered Enzo aid as he longed to see his mother safe within the fortress, as well as take shelter there, as it was well armored. By now, they were heading up to the top floor using the stairway. "Sky, we should split up, that would make searching easier!" Enki suggested as they ascended the stairs. "Alright, do it! Meet me back in the art room!"

He told Enki as they reached a T-section after the stairs. Enki and the others went one way, while Enzo took the other path.


He ran down the hallway, windows on his left let in the red, smokey light as war raged on outside the fortress. A falling warship crashed into the fortress, blocking Enzo's path in the hallway. The blast itself pushed Enzo back a few meters, but he was quick to get back onto his feet. The warship stuck out of the fortress like a dart, and there was an opening in the wreckage for Enzo to climb atop the ship, so, he went for it, climbing up the destroyed fireball of a wreckage. This gave him a clear view of the chaos happening. Cannons hidden around the fortress fired upon invading warships as they unleashed hell on the city below. "What's happened here..." He muttered.


He shook his head, he had no time to waste, Aries could be in danger, and she wasn't a fighting type, either. Enzo saw a way onto the roof of the fortress from whre he was standing. It only took a few carefully placed jumps here and there before he was up. The wreckage he was previously standing on loosened up, and fell back down to the ground some hundred feet down. There's no going back now... He raced onward to the top of the fortress to see Aries standing there, her back facing him. He sighed of relief to see that she was still okay. "Mom!" He shouted as he ran over to her and hugged her from behind. [/CENTER]

"Sky, what are you doing here?" "Saving you, of course!" He shouted as he tightened his grip on her. Aries smiled at the effort. "Sky, you need to get away from here." She warned him. Enzo let go of her, and looked up at her. "So do you!" He pulled on her sleeve, but she wouldn't budge.

On the other side of the roof, a figure appeared, and Enzo froze in place. "So, you've come." Aries looked back at the figure. "You know I would.
replied the man. Enzo let go of his mother once more, and ignited his flame, a black sword formed into his hand, like his gloved did. "Who are you? Stay back!" Enzo warned him as he readied his sword. Your swordsmanship is sloppy, you don't deserve to use it unless you can actually protect with it. The figure rudely commented on Enzo. Before he could attack out of rage, Aries grabbed his arm just as he was about to run. "Stop." She said, turning Enzo around to face her. "This isn't a fight you can win. I'm sending you away." then, she pushed Enzo toward the edge of the roof. "Whoa- Wait!" He staggered back, struggling to regain his balance. Aries stared at him with shaking eyes. "Remember me, Sky." She told Enzo as he fell off of the side, dropping his sword by accident. "Wait! MOM!" He cried out, but the next thing he knew, he fell straight through a portal leading back into the real world.


He shot of the portal, hundreds of feet into the night air. Other debris followed him on the way down like comets. He looked at his glove, trying to figure out what had happened as he dived down to earth.


I.. lost?

Marcus turned and said a goodbye to JD before walking towards the stairwell that would lead to Harley's room. Without her feet firmly planted on the ground, her head was rolling about and her body was rather listless in his arms.
"Actually, I'm not a professor, just a teacher. And you can call me Mr. Tormod, or Marcus. It doesn't make much of a difference, I'm a pretty lax person. And yes, the teachers have shared quarters, but seperate rooms." He offered her a kind smile that soon turned into an awkward one when she pointed out the flush in his cheeks. "Yes, well...we caused a bit of a scene earlier, it was a bit embarrassing to be honest. Though I'm sure you don't care. Judging by your appearance you're a...musician? Guitar and vocals? So you'd be used to making a scene, even if you weren't drunk." He let out a soft chuckle before they finally arrived to Harley's room, which was unfortunately locked. "Do you have the key?"

Adorra had finished off two full wine glasses and decided to head back into the dining area, where she went and settled back alongside Kira, "Sorry, I disappeared for a few minutes. I needed some time to think. I found this, too." She paused as she opened the old grimore and place the unfinished letter in front of Kira. "It's all I know about my mum, it's the first time I every opened the damn thing. I only just received today, I haven't even tried to read the book..."

She then waved her hand over her glass clumsily, refilled it, drank deeply from it, and finally set it back down, "She must have died or something, I'm not all that certain."

Silver and David were still at it. David was putting up more of a fight than Silver thought he would, and Silver was pushing back just as much. Clang after cling and twang could be heard from their blades crossing. David went in to attack again, and Silver blocked. Instead of backing up to attack again, David kept pushing on her swords.

"See.. Why you should take me.. Seriously?"

Silver gave him an angry and confused look as she pushed back harder with her swords, pushing him back a few feet. "Who said I don't take you seriously?" David glared and went in to attack again, but Silver sliced at David's dagger, cutting it right in the middle. David stood there, shocked, and not realizing that Silver was using her illusions now. "What the hell, Silver?!" His daggers were almost as important to him as Silver's swords were to her. His fists clenched up and he glared at her. "David. Who said I don't take you seriously?" David threw his dagger on the ground and held his hands at his sides.

"You said it yourself when you refused to use your magic on me. I'm not some weak little twerp who likes to pick fights, Silver! I'm strong, and I can take on anyone, even you 'powerful' magic users." He got closer to her and attempted to swipe her feet out from under her, but she jumped over it. "David, I don-" Before she could finish, he punched her in the stomach. Rather hard, too. "Use your magic. You'll need it. You have to rely on it to win your fights. Just like all the others." Silver took a few steps back as she held her stomach. That really hurt. She looked up to him, glaring. "I don't have to rely on my magic, because I'm an expert at fighting with blades. I don't want to use my magic on you, bec-" "Oh, shut up.." He went in to punch her again, which she avoided. "Because, David, I can't-" He kicked her in the side, which caused her to balance to get thrown off a little. Silver was getting very angry.

"You know what?" Silver spun her swords around and sliced at his chest, and since he was so close, he couldn't avoid it. They left an 'x' shape on his chest, and the gash was pretty deep. She again sliced at him, only it was his neck this time, where he put up his arms in defense. Leaving a couple much deeper gash on his arms, she kicked him in his stomach to send him skidding back a dozen feet or so. "Will you let me explain now?" David glared, noticing his other dagger that he threw at her earlier not too far away and reached for it.

Well.. things got soured quickly. As Harley's words rang true. They still had no clue what exactly they would be fighting for. Not their business. Not their fight. It was in an entirely different country. However, she didn't want to sleep in with all those other students while there was a more private area with this group. Why should they risk their lives? She was dragging Harley into this. The girl basically stated it before she got dragged off somewhere. Noticing that the others were also leaving, she stood up and grabbed a plate.

Filling it up with food for Harley, she picked out what the girl would like best. Hopefully Marcus wasn't too harsh on her. She'd have to look for them. 'We spend more time looking for each other than actually hanging out.' That was almost amusing. Enzo would have to answer some questions later on about what they would have to do, if they decided to partake in this little mission.

"Sorry, I disappeared for a few minutes. I needed some time to think. I found this, too."

Startled, Kira looked up to see Dora return. "Oh. It's fine." she said, offering a smirk. Looking down at the letter, she tilted her head. Seeing that Dora was starting to get drunk, Kira almost sighed. She wasn't much of a wine kind of girl. She needed too much to get buzzed.

"You could try investigating the book tomorrow. Once you've rested. I'm sure there's valuable information." she offered. "I'm going go find Harley and bring her food. You can join if you want." With that, she glanced around and gave the others still there a wave. Turning, she headed out the door, wondering where the girl could be.

Adorra grinned before she took another sip, then set the glass down again, "Alright." She paused, "That's what I was thinking would be good to do tomorrow. I should rest eventually and I'm sure there is, too. I'd love to join you, I've got nothing better to do. I would also enjoy getting to Harley."

Dora packed her letter an book back up in her shoulder bag, then got up and followed behind Kira, We could find a teacher and see if they know where her room is. I'm sure there's teacher's...

"They wouldn't know." The only teachers she saw, were Ines and Marcus. Harley was the type to get an unoccupied room or find a place to sleep off the alcohol. They normally didn't like sharing with hundreds of other people. Hell, Harley could be anywhere. "We'll have to find Marcus." Hopefully they'd still be together somewhere. As they went down the hall, Kira looked over at Dora. Dora hadn't even come here by choice. What was her opinion on all this. Whatever 'this' was. "So, you willing to risk your life for complete strangers?" she asked, almost smirking.

As they headed out, she couldn't help but notice the noise levels in one of the rooms increase. Hm? What was that? It was tempting to check it out, but with food... She wasn't sure. "Shall we?"
