The Coming Darkness

People were gathering around the group as Enzo made his speech, and soon, it all became a blur of confusion. Sasha vaguely remembered being pushed by a wave of students into the crowd that was entering the plane. "Agh, dammit, lemme go!" she half yelled into the group, but the chatter of excited and very motivated students drowned her voice with sheer volume. Sasha could barely make out Enzo a couple of feet away from her as she glanced over her shoulder, but couldn't really talk to him, as he seemed preoccupied by other things.

A bit in the distance, a familiar woman strawberry pink hair and breasts that bounced while she ran called out to the group, "W-wait for me!" Ines called out, her brows furrowing as she half panicked. She'd just been enjoying some tea, and the next thing she knew, there was a plane that had students going into it near the school building! What a strange place Whiterun was.

Silver smiled and nodded at JD's comment, following him as they walked back to the other students. She might have said something, but JD had already said what was running through her mind. Instead, she simply smiled and looked to the others, waiting for further instruction.

David grinned, a bit uneasy at Harley's forwardness, and gently pushed Harley's hand down, nodding at her. "Um.. Where had he run off to.." He looked back to the door trying to think of where they all might be. "And uh, I think I know where they are going. Maybe. Well, to be honest I wasn't really listening. But that's another story." He glanced outside to find that Kira's statement was correct. "Oh, right there. Shall we?" He took a step back, gesturing towards the door with a smile.

Giving David a smile, she linked her arm with Harley's and headed out the door. "Of course." The only reason she didn't do David's was, the door wouldn't fit three people walking through it at the same time. Recalling where the exit was, she headed that way, making sure that David was keeping up. "We seem to have been gifted with a spell or something to make us understand the language. Sweet, right?" It'd take a load off of David being around to translate everything to the others. Making their way outside, she looked for the mass of people trying to be the first ones onto the jet. Sheesh.Mobs. Some things never change.

Enzo was glad to see the rest of the guardians heeding to the jet, as if everyone knew what they had to do. Enzo, Enki, and Kenji went aboard the jet once the other students had as well, and it took no time for Enzo to find and sit right next to Sasha. He gave her a smiling wink as the rest of the guardians and teachers got on-board.



With a quick head count, the pilot was given the green light, and so, they launched off the airstrip leaving whiterun behind in a trail of jet smoke and magical power. Enzo looked past Sasha, and out the window, seeing Sorcerers get smaller and smaller. And at the same time, Boone, the ex-headmaster, watched the plane disappear into the sky from the window of his principle office. "It's hard to accept that our future weighs on the will of our students." He said. He had his hands behind his back as he watched the smoke trail start to fade. "Though, I am glad kids like these know when to step up and do what's right."


The plane flew over the small patch of forest, then the ocean. Voli will be there.

Last time on The Coming Darkness,

Team Valor battled in America, and took two unsuspecting Americans with them, back to Japan. There, they got to know each other, but time is running out. With Volitaire in the bahamas, JD's curse could thicken, and could end up taking lives. On the other hand, Silver fought and defeated her own demons, with the help of Enzo. [thanks neen]

Realizing the small amount of time they had, Enzo made a unexpected speech infront of the school to rally both his guardians and students who wanted to fight for them. Now, Team Valor, fueled by their friends, and the unseen desire for revenge, set out for a base off the coast to train and prepare for the final series of fights that laid before them.

The base was in view. A large steel fort sitting atop an island, surrounded by violent waves, and rocky cliffs. It was clear this place was used only for military purpose, but now, it served a different purpose. As the plane landed, Captain Azure stood infront of the rows of seats. "When we leave the aircraft, it is required for you all to stay by me. I will show you the different areas of the base, as well as show you were you'll be staying at for the duration of this operation."

The students complied, and soon, they were on the ground. Somehow, Enzo hadn't noticed the plane was hoovering, instead of actually flying like a jet engine. The doors opened, and the students poured out. Enzo went along with the group as they grouped up outside of the vehicle, and onto the strip with the Captain in front of them like a drill sergeant. He did a quick head count before continuing. "Some of you aren't good in navagation, so I'll give you a tour of the base. If you get lost, just ask anyone of the soldiers for help."

With that, he beckoned everyone to follow him into the base through the large aircraft hanger. Wow, this is amazing... Enzo thought to himself as he stared in awe at the old WWII Japanese fighters that were stationed there as well. It was clear they had just started using the base recently after abandoning it during world war II.

Adorra walked off the plane rather quickly, as it was the first time that she had ever been on one. She continued to follow the large group in front of her, she gazed around and noted the Japanese fighter planes. Was in Ireland, now I'm in Japan? This has to be an old World War II base, She thought as she continued to walk forward.

She sighed, consumed deeply in her own deep thoughts as she had apparently sped up her pace and run face first into the middle of someone's back. She fell onto her butt, her eyes grew wide when she looked up she saw the backside of a tall guy with shaggy henna hair in black clothing, with head phones around his neck.

Silver was still not good with planes, and she hated that they had to take one here, too. But the ride was over quicker than she thought it would be. They got off, and Silver looked around for the others, deciding to just wait and see if anyone else would find her in the large crowd.

David had also gotten off the plane, but didn't notice Silver or anyone else. His thoughts were wandering, so he didn't really notice anything. Suddenly he felt someone bump into him, so he turned to see a small girl with long, pretty hair and orange ish eyes on the ground. "Oh, I'm sorry.." He bent over a bit and offered a hand to help her up. "My bad, I wasn't paying attention to.. Well, anything really.."

Adorra's pale skin flushed a bright red when the guy turned around to help her, "I didn't mean to walk into you. I'm sorry, too." Adorra took his hand, "I guess we both were not paying much attention, then. I'm Adorra, you can call me Dora. I guess you could say I'm new here. I appeared halfway through the aircraft ride..."

David easily lifted her back up and made sure she was alright. "No worries at all... Dora? That's a nice name! I'm David. And it's okay, new people are always welcome. I'm fairly new myself." He smiled at her and glanced around to see if he could see anyone he knew, since whatever little trance he had been in was broken. "Appeared halfway through the ride? Did you teleport in or something?.."

Once the plane landed, Kira waited a few moments to let some of the others out of the plane. The last thing she wanted was to be trampled in the rush to be out first. Somehow, Harley had gotten separated from her. Still same plane ride, just... different seating area. Ah well. Harley would be fine, and they'd meet up again soon enough. Now that they understood the language, it was a lot easier. Once she was out, blue eyes scanned the area.

Nice area. She wanted to get a close look at those aircrafts. Were they genuine? Or just replicas. She noticed some of the others from 'Team Valor' had already gotten out of the plane, and were waiting around to be shown around the base. Glancing down at her phone, she almost sighed. No signal yet, and her batter had about an hour at best before it died. Hm.. Hopefully they'd get time to rest and be prepared after this. She was getting hungry.

She felt herself being lifted up right again, "Thank you for helping me up and thanks for the compliment, too." She paused, "It's nice to meet you, David. It's also really nice to know that I'm not the only new person here." She grinned and paused again, "I did and it was quite strange, I walked out of where I used to live and then I ended up on the plane. So, I guess I was transported some how, though I would love to know who did it.."

“Ah yes such wonderful bloody memories for my country.” JD remarked as he glanced at all the planes, and sighed. Not that the Brits had had much investment in the Japanese theater of that war, but it was still the same war that nearly broke them as a country. Still he wasn’t one to get bleary eyed over history long-lost; he was currently enrolled in a Japanese school and fighting for the Japanese (alright so for the entire good of the world was more correct but one shouldn’t get into particulars).

JD was a bit curious why they were here, but he was used to the magnificent master plan being revealed to him in due time. Just like he wondered when this ring would allow him to voice his thoughts into everyone’s head like Enzo had earlier. “Anyone have snacks? I’m starving. I need snacks. Bring them to JD.” He whispered softly into it. It was then those silver eyes darted about in an attempt to see if anyone was pilfering through their belongings for food.
“Ah it was worth a try.” JD blubbered. It was then glanced about for Eos and/or Silver. Since Voltaire was nowhere in sight he was back to being his sister’s keeper and of course he was keeping a general hawk-eye on his girlfriend. He loved her too damn much not too.

Yet his eyes glanced back to the planes and he stared for a prolonged moment. Something rumbled through his mind and he found himself rather instinctually grabbing his pendant in thought. ‘Soon’, and then it was gone. Quickly JD bled back into the group of Sorcerer students, and found Silver- wrapping his hand around her own as they walked. ‘Probably would be smart to distance myself,’ JD thought but honestly- he didn’t know how he would start.

David chuckled lightly. "Hey, don't mention it." As he listened to her story, a perplexed expression came over his face. He tilted his head a bit in confusion. "That's... Interesting, indeed..."

Silver kept looking around and waiting for someone, until she felt a hand wrap around her own. She looked back to see JD there, and smiled. "Have a nice trip?"

"I can tell that this is a base, but where are we," Adorra curiously questioned. "I thought it was rather peculiar myself, it was definitely a first for me." She looked down at her hand it was still in his and then looked back up at him, "May have my hand back?

By now, they were inside the base, and entered a long hallway. The air was alot warmer once inside. The walls, floor and ceiling were broken up with age. "We'll go to the quarters first, which is the closest from here. I'm sure some of you are tired and ready to call it a day."

After turning some corners and up onto the second floor, it was obviosus they had arrived within the living quarters, so it needed not saying. Nearly half of the students peeled off to unpack, or to claim the best bed spots. Enzo peeked into the room, and scanned it left to right. Alot of bunk beds. All in the same room? He stepped back. That must be noisy at night. "The Guardians will have their own private floor. The 3rd one." Enki frowned a bit at this, and Enzo noticed. "Hey, Captain Azure?" He called out. "Could I.. bring certain people?" "It's possible, if you so choose to do so." Enki looked to Enzo with a slightly apologetic expression. Sky... Enzo returned his gaze with a victory grin.


And so, they continued, showing that the second floor also contained a command room, where the important things were to be discussed, and at the very last, showed them the 3rd floor, which was completely different then the others.

Some of the students huffed in jealously. "There is a garden outside of the base as well, if you're seeking fresh air. The training room is on the first floor, too. Excuse me for forgetting, It's been a long day." He turned to Enzo and the rest of the group. "You may stay here now, the tour is basically over. I know you can all handle yourselves." He gave a few curt nods to them, and left, with the students leaving behind him, boiling with jealousy.

Kira was relieved that she was able to stay with the others. Staying in that huge place would've been torture. Looking around, she smiled. "This is.. Really nice." Giving Enzo a grin, she went over and hugged him tightly. "Thank you for letting us stay with you guys. Seriously." Giving him another firm squeeze she let him go. "This is sweet. Could we really use all this stuff?" she asked, almost trying to contain her excitement..

"Oh, right. My bad." David laughed nervously and let go. "So, you don't know anyone around here, do you?" He frowned. The thought of this poor girl being alone against her will made him sad, so he decided to do something about it. "Well, not to worry. I'll stick by you until you make friends that are better than me and would prefer to hang out with them instead." He smiled. "C'mon." He gestured for her to follow as he walked into the building, following the crowd. He saw Kira and some other familiar faces walking up to the third floor, so he grabbed Dora's hand, making sure he didn't lose her, and made his way towards them. "Oi, you get to meet some of my friends now!" He spoke back to her, making sure it was in fact her hand he was holding again.

She'd fallen asleep on the plane yet again, and had somehow managed to sleepwalk her way onto the third floor with the others. Che, they made it all fancy...we're going into battle here, not some prissy spoiled little life! Her brows furrowed in both confusion and frustration, as she pondered about this fact.

Sasha snapped out of her thoughts when she saw that raven haired girl give Enzo a hug. Two hugs, actually. And both were a little too familiar with him. Th-'ell is that girl thinking?! I'm the only one that's allowed to touch him so casually like that... Sasha shook her head, flushing at the thought, Not that...I would do that or anything...

The female's brows knit together slightly as she huffed under her breath, then turned to face a random room, "Whelp, I'm tired," Sasha announced, "I'm heading off."

And with a slight turn and a small slamming of the door, Sasha disappeared into her room.

Meanwhile, on the second floor, Ines was becoming rather frazzled by the amount of people surrounding her. So many students! Ahh, there should be a teacher's room somewhere... she thought to herself, If only I could find it amidst all these students!

"It's quite alright, no harm done, " She smiled as she brought her hand back to her side, "I can honestly say that you're the first person I have met." She continue to listen as he spoke, "I don't think there's anything wrong with you really, I wouldn't mind hanging out with you at all. You really shouldn't judge yourself so harshly."

At his gesture she followed closely behind him in quick strides, she even slid her way through the crowd of people as she continued to follow him. When he grabbed her hand again she blushed as she hadn't really expected it. It always embarrassed her when people did this, but she wasn't going to complain seeing that he had been the nicest to her thus far.

"It's very kind of you to introduce me to your friends," Adorra purred. I'm kind of glad I bumped into you now, she thought.

Enzo couldn't do anything but trip over his own words. "I-.. But!.." He could have sworn the life was being squeezed out of him. Or maybe it was her breast? Enzo blushed, and pulled himself together once her cruelness deemed he had enough punishment, and let him go. "Y-yeah, sure. It doesn't bother me."

Kenji had come out of hiding, appearing out of Enzo's hair. "Whew." He huffed, pushing some of Enzo's hair away from him. "Kenji! How long have you been on my head?" "Too long, Enzo." He hopped down to the ground, and brushed himself off. "When you're done playing around here, meet me in the training room the Captain spoke of. We've got to talk." With that, Kenji disappeared down the steps.

We have to talk?

He sighed, and had realized Sasha left them to regain her rest. He wanted to check in on her, but she probably really needed that rest. He decided to head downstairs as well. The training room was on the first floor, and finding it wasn't difficult. When he entered, he saw Kenji standing in the middle of the room, spinning his pistol around with his finger. "So, we need to talk?" Enzo echoed what he had said earlier. "Yes." He gripped the gun, stopping it's spinning movement. "Are we going to train?" Enzo saw Kenji prepare himself for what seemed like a fight. He secured his fedora, and aimed his pistol at Enzo.

"Think of it as a test."

David chuckled a bit more and shrugged. "I don't want you to be alone against your will. That's never fun," he explained to her, getting closer to them. He saw Kira giving Enzo a hug and felt a funny feeling run through his mind, but he shrugged it off quickly. "Kira!" he spoke out as they walked towards her, seeing as Enzo ran away before he could get there. Once they got to Kira, David let go of Dora's hand and smiled. "Kira, this is my new friend Dora. Dora, this is my friend Kira." This was how people made other people be friends, right? "Say, this is a nice place."

Kira pouted at Enzo basically running away. Did she scare him away? Oops. She shrugged and smiled, looking around once again. Goooood this was awesome. She wanted to jump in that jacuzzi. They had a fucking Jacuzzi. This was worth the trip here. Completely worth it. She heard David call her name. "Ah." Kira looked down to see a petite girl next to David. Before she knew it, the words had spilled before she could stop them. "You.. are so cute~" She waved and held her hand out for Dora. "Nice to meet you, Dora. Are you one of the students?"

"Seems to me that you've got a big heart to match your height," She giggled as she grinned. "I can agree that is is never fun though." She continued forward with David, he called to 'Kira' as they continued to walk forward, they came to a halt when they got to her, and David let go of her hand.

When he introduced them, she remained quiet for a spell to listen to what Kira had to say, "Thanks? I think, I guess my looks are at somewhat of an advantage. I suppose I can still pass off as a preteen.." She paused as she took Kira's hand and shook it, "Nice to meet you, too. As for being a student, I suppose I am."

David grinned, seeing as whatever he did seemed to have worked. He looked back down to Dora and huffed. "You don't look that young, just small. And there's nothing wrong with that." He had similar problems, only it was the opposite. People often thought he was older than he actually was due to his height. He looked back to Kira and smiled. "I saw you talking to Enzo, so what's the plan now?"

Kira grinned. "Sorta? Well, I'm a new, transfer student. Or, something. I guess. ...No clue. I have to talk to the teachers about that. I guess I'm a guest right now?" That almost got her confused. She was, just tagging along for the ride so far. Nothing'd been set in stone yet. Shrugging it off, she smiled down at the girl. "You don't look like you'd be a preteen. But you do look cute and almost doll like. Like David said, it's kind of cool." Turning to him, she gave him a smile. "I was actually just thanking him for letting us stay. Otherwise we would have had to go down with the others. We're able to rest and, just chill right now." Which was great.

She smiled at him again, "Yeah, I know. It makes me excellent at hide and go seek." She then turned her attention back to Kira. "Thanks, I myself am kind of glad that I don't look as young as I used to." She laughed, "I've been trying for sexy, but it's kind of hard to do when you were constantly watched by Nuns in an orphanage."

It dawned on her that she was shoved out of her only home without her suitcase, all she had was a small shoulder bag with a book and her life's savings in it.

Her stomach dropped as she murmured, "My wardrobe from the 1800's got left behind, all I've got is the clothes on my back--lovely."

She felt rather awkward about what she was wearings, but brushed it off before she spoke to Kira once more, "You wouldn't mind if I tagged along, would you Kira? I need to figure out what's going on with my placement, too. That and all I've got is the clothes on my back, that's a big issue.."

It was a long and somewhat boring flight from the school, but whiskey in hand, Marcus stomached it. Hoping off the plane, he went with the crowd and followed them into the base. It was absolutely stunning, aged beauty mixed with modern luxury. Had he not been here on 'business' it would've been a wonderful place to relax. The majority of Team Valor had followed Enzo into, he supposed, 'their' quarters, leaving the remaining students and teachers wandering around aimlessly until they found their place. Among the hussle-and-bussle of the kids' excitement, he noticed Ines looking around with a perplexed look on her face. Poor woman, she may be sweet, but she was also a bit absent minded. Marcus let out a chuckle before coming up behind her, linking his arm around hers. Luckily, he paid attention to the information given to him, and knew where the teachers would be staying. "Hello, milady," He said, taking her bags in his his extra hand along with his own, "shall I escort you to your quarters?"

Taking the hint, Enzo closed the training room door behind him, making sure the noise wouldn't disturb the others. "What's this about? Why test now?" Enzo faced him once again, wanting questions rather then training. "I've got something to tell you, but you'd best prepare." Kenji warned the boy.


Enzo ignited his flame calmly, and re-adjusted his armored gloves. "You're a smart boy, you should know that book had some tie-in with you. Some effect on you." "I've had a feeling." Enzo replied. Kenji pulled the trigger, and a beam of magic energy rushed out, nearly hitting Enzo as he sidestepped around it. "Why are you telling me this?" He saw an opening, and sprinted beside the beam, pulling back his fist and throwing a downward punch at Kenji. "Well," Kenji hopped back, and had left a mine where he was previously standing. Enzo's eyes shot open as he accidentally punched the mine, causing it to explode in his face and send him skidding across the floor. "I figured you should know before you get into matters you won't understand." Kenji landed gracefully, while Enzo on the other hand, was just recovering from the close ranged explosion. "Aries was your mother, Enzo."


The two of them stared at each other as the smoke cleared into the vents. "The.. one from the book?" Kenji lowered his head as a confirmation, and pity. "That's right. She was murdered by the leader of the GodHunters." Kenji expected sorrow out of Enzo, but he didn't sense a trace of it. "Then it's clear what i'm doing next." Enzo rushed for Kenji once more, this time he was flying. In response, Kenji aimed his gun at Enzo. At this speed, it would be hard for Enzo to dodge a head-on attack. "And what is that?"

Before he could pull the trigger again, Enzo spoke, this time, his voice coming from behind him. "I'm going to avenge her." Kenji turned around to see that Enzo was alot quicker then before. Kenji blocked his next punch with his free hand. "Then you'll have to be better than this." He told him, rasing his gun in the other hand and blasting Enzo away once again.

When the smoke cleared, Enzo was on his belly, face on the ground. "Come see me when you actually know what you're talking about." Kenji said, turning around and leaving the training room. Enzo could only watch him as he disappeared. So I lost someone else special to me. He clenched his fist, and felt his fire be put out. Somehow, he had the strength to get back onto his feet. Kenji's gun was flawed in speed, but was powerful once you were hit by it, so it didn't take much to beat Enzo.

I wonder if Kenji is angry with me. His tone wasn't exactly light.. He pondered as he gripped a wound on his stomach. His shirt was partially burnt, so it was clear he had some rough training with a strong opponent. Nevertheless, he limped out of the training room as well, and headed back up to the guardian's personal floor. Atleast they had that going for them.

“Jacuzzi-?” JD’s brows narrowed. “Seriously? Are they attempting to neglect everything that was taught to us in Health 101 by introducing us to a hormone stew?” Yet he was a bit giddy to finally get preferred treatment. He had gone to the Gaze, fought Haimon on the roof, and gotten terribly-terribly lost in a burning forest. The latter part had to do with his failure at knowing directions- something that no one would ever hear about again. “And I didn’t bring my swim trunks. Commando it is then! I know all of you are excited- I practically have- a- well maybe I shouldn’t say that out loud.” He smirked. “I do have some tact here- somewhere- probably in my carry-on.”

It was then he acknowledged anyone in the room beyond himself and that inner-voice that chirped how amazing he was: ‘like some modern Don Juan Demarco mixed in with Indiana Jones’. Ah sweet inner-voices and their ability to boost one’s ego.
“Fanboy!” JD exclaimed. “And Kira. And Jem- are you truly truly outrageous?” He remarked to the new girl- well he assumed she new- he honestly didn’t keep tabs on all the students at Sorcerers. “So where is your punk rock friend-?” He questioned Kira. “I feel like she would also give us amusing jabs on the Jacuzzi here, and I just fear that everyone is being too platonic about future hormone stew.”
