The Knight.

I woke up in the morning and was delighted to see that Jay was still there. "Morning.." I mumbled softly, yawning and stretching in a cat like way, flinching when I irritated some of my bruises.

I grinned, and slowly let go of her as she stretched. Her hair was messy, and I couldnt help but find it adorable.. I slowly stroked her hair, and tamed it with my fingers gently. I kissed her temple. "Sleep well An?"

I smiled slightly. "Yes I did, thank you." I answered softly. I sat up and let my hair out of the ponytail, running my fingers through it gently.

"So, what would you like for breakfast?" I asked. "After we eat, we will head to the store and wewill get a new lock for your door." I said.

"I'm.. Not hungry." I said softly, looking down. "I should really go." I went to the bathroom and changed into my own clothes, then I took Canada out to potty.

"Oh.." I said softly, and I watched as she walked out. I wont force her to stay, but it would be nice. I wanted her to eat something.. when she came back inside I wasnt shirtless anymore, I had gotten dressed and such. "Youre heading home? I asked.

I nodded. "Yeah.. I have some things to take care of.. I also work tonight." I said with a shrug. I stepped forwards and hugged him. "Thank you.. For everything.."

"Oh, alright." I said, and when she hugged me, I slowly wrapped my arms around her, squeezing her lightly. "Anything for you.. remember that." I said, and I let go slowly and I stroked Canada, smiling.

I smiled slightly. "See you." I scooped up Canada and gently kissed Jay's cheek before I left and went home, then I got my door fixed.

I was soon at my shift at starbucks, and the day was again very slow and boring, only having a few people come in. It was soon time for me to go home, and it was about 7, I had to cover a friend's shift, so I worked longer than usual. When I got home I slumped down on the couch

Work was a drag, as usual. When I got home, I got dressed in a sports bra and basketball shorts. I looked at myself in the mirror. Bruises everywhere except for my face. I'm hideous.

I glanced at my phone then picked it up and texted Annabelle Hey, How was work? I sent, and I turned the tv on, and watched the news.

I heard my phone ding from the living room so I went and sat on the couch, smiling at his text. Long and painful.. As usual.

Oh really? Well remember you owe me that movie night, come over whenever you want (: . I sent, and I got up and got nicer clothes on and I cleaned up the house a bit.

I sighed. I'm guessing he wants to do it tonight.. Though I am extremely tired.. I'll go. I'll be there soon. I sent. I got up and changed into pants and a turtleneck. I brushed out my hair, brushed my teeth, then put some light makeup on. I fed Canada and let her out for a few minutes, then I took her with me to Jay's house. I rang his doorbell and waited patiently, even though it's freezing outside and snowing lightly.

I smiled at her text, and when I heard a knock on the door, I opened it quickly, not wanting her to freeze. "Hey, come in." I said, smiling warmly. I gave her a gentle hug. "What movie should we watch ?" I asked, and I got her a glass of water, and handed it to her.

I sat down on the couch and sipped my water, stroking Canada as she sat on my lap."Hmm.. I don't know. How about.. Nightmare Before Christmas?" I asked, looking up at him. Wow.. He's so handsome..

I nodded. "Yes, I actually forgot I had that movie." I said and I stood and opened the dvd case and put it in. "I have a question, is it a Christmas movie or a Halloween one?" I asked with a chuckle. It was both in a way. And Christmas was only a week away now.

I laughed. "It's more Christmasy than Halloweeny." I replied with a giggle. When he sat next to me, Canada crawled into his lap and I chuckled. "Funny. You're the only person other than me that she'll go to."

"True.." I said, and I smiled when Canada crawled into my lap. I stroked her fur and sighed happily. "Really? Shes such a sweet dog." I said, scratching behind her ear. I grabbed the light remote and turned the lights down as the movie started.

I smiled. "Yeah, she is.." When the movie started, I scooted close to him and rested my head on his shoulder, singing along to their songs.

I grinned as she sang quietly along to the songs, I slowly put my arm around her, and continued to watch the movie.

I glanced up at him every once in a while, mainly just to admire him. He's such a nice guy.. And he's so handsome.." I sighed and closed my eyes. I'm scared to get too close...

I slowly lookeddown at her after a long while, the movie almost over, seeing her eyes closed. Was she asleep? She must be really tired from work and all. I kissed her forhead softly.

I opened my eyes and smiled. "Hey. Sorry." I said with a chuckle, looking into his gorgeous eyes.

I looked over as the movie finished. "Its fine. Want me to walk you home?" I asked, giving her a soft squeeze.

I nodded. "Yeah, sure." I got up and we walked out, Canada following us. I crossed my arms tightly across my chest, since it was freezing outside. It was also snowing so it was beautiful.

I slowly took my jacket off and put it on her shoulders when I saw she was cold. A snowflake landed on her nose, and I couldnt help but chuckle softly. "Youre so cute.." I said.

I blushed and wiped it away, putting his jacket on. It was really warm and it smelled really good. Like a mixture of peppermint and axe cologne. "No.." I mumbled, looking down. Snowflakes were getting caught in my hair.

I took her hand, and kissed it. "Yeah. You are." I said, and I walked along the sidewalk with her, soon at her front door. I saw that she had gotten it fixed, glad it was. "Youll be okay here?" I asked.
