I want a goddamn doujin in which YashaxAshura actually END UP TOGETHER (hopefully without much angst in between!). lol, but Count D could surely tame a bakeneko, I mean, he's got more dangerous stuff in his shop, right? 8D He'd probably feed it unsuspecting people and the bakeneko would be all sweetness to D. XDDD And yes, D and Kusuriuri are a perfect match (and hot! XD). I keep trying to convince my friend to RP them with me, but alas, she won't~ lol (then again, I'd probably be all OOC with either or). I would really pay to witness that reunion, though. :P
I would have disagreed about xxxHolic a bit ago, but now I couldn't agree more. In the end they basically kept Watanuki holed up in the shop forever. So that means he didn't end up with his crush, his best frienemy, the girl he saved from abuse, or his sexy witch mentor! My heart, it breaks! And yesssss I will read it, I love Count D- I stopped reading it because school started up again and I was busy. When I went to get back in, I was lost. Just need to start from the beginning~ XD I would discourage him from that, though. By the end of the Bakeneko arc I wasn't even counting the amount of people murdered, my gosh. Only he could match the medicine seller though, they both have equally cool names. Medicine seller's title (Kusuriuri) is just plain fun to say. Not to mention those tattoo/face paints- he is one red-hot merchant. Which, come to think of it, is something he has in common with Count D. They both sell things that can (and probably will) lead to your death.
(Haha, it did that to me too. The last post I did I had to edit like crazy. Picking which sentence you want to throw out is like picking favorite children ;_; ) That's the fun part of Kuro though, Fai can get to him so well and he knows it. It's not his fault is Kuro-wan-wan can't take a joke/grope or two. XD X manga certainly wasn't a happy story- CLAMP doesn't really do happy stories. It doesn't matter what series they do, they will find a way to make you like it. Sometimes, they even make you love it. And then they take what you love and drag it kicking and screaming to it's doom.
Oh, you definitely need to read PSoH. I love Count D, he's so awesome, and the way he teases Leon, haha, it's dripping with BL/yaoi hints all over the place. PSoH:Tokyo isn't too bad so far, but I miss Leon in it (well, he does seem to make an appearance in a tiny side story, but otherwise not yet). And Mononoke is awesomeeeeee, the medicine seller is so fantastic!!!! How can your friends not get it? Ahhhh, my dream is to sit him and Count D for tea together and see what they have to talk about.... <.<; lol I think that would make the most awesome fanfic ever. Count D: "Bakeneko? Is that a new type of animal? *v* I MUST find it." If I had any real clue of the awesomeness that would be that conversation, I would have even written it myself long ago. Hahaha, yeah, I love it when Kuro gets all angry~ and he is oh so very easy to anger... :P I tend to side with the canon too, in general. I mean, if they say some boy x girl pairing is canon, it's canon but that doesn't mean I won't go chasing fanfics/rps/whatever with my otp XD Just that I won't deny it in other places.) Yeah I know what you mean with the Tsubasa OVA, not so much the X anime as I only read part of the manga before all my faves started dying and I was like screw this, I'm gonna read something happy. XDD The xxxHolic (anime AND manga) was sorta blah in the sense that they left everything (interesting, namely pairings) sort of hanging. Or so I hear. I usually don't like most girls because they tend to portray them as annoying supershy fluffy balls of luff (in general, not just CLAMP), but I loved Yuuko, and lost interest when she went poof, so I haven't yet finished the manga either pfft.
KuroxFai is one of my favorite couples to rp, just because of the fun dynamic. There's nothing quite like when Kuro's feathers get ruffled, though it's all worth it when he gets all cute and caring~ I always tend to side with the author when it comes to series, as painful as it might be. Some fangirls just don't understand that you can't argue against proved cannon. (Even if you really, really want to.) And X; I watched the anime but I didn't feel like it compared with the awesomeness of the manga. Same with Tsubasa's OVA. (I accepted xxxHolic's anime because it had great shots of Watanuki in a furisode, though rejected it when they cut the lovely DouWata pairing I was counting on ;^; ) Concerning PoH, I've definitely heard all about it, Count D included, but I've never read all of it. As for Mononoke, however, I have read and treasured anything even remotely to do with it. None of my friends get it, but I think the medicine seller is just about the most handsome man since ever. : D
lol, yeah they are a sort-of-but-not-really-but-yes-kinda canon pairing, KuroxFai. That is why, CLAMP is probably one of the few fanstuff I actually RP (I'm not one to RP much fan stuff, since it's hard to get IC on character you haven't made, and get them right XD), but it's fun to be silly with them. ^^ I never really gave much thought to what Ashura was. I mean, at first on the Spanish version of the manga they always called it a she, so I was, ok, maybe. But then they stated it was an it, and it seemed reasonably (particularly when it grew up totally flat chested XD)... so it's kind of a pet peeve when everyone goes and calls him a she while swearing up and down that it's a she (I also usually call Ashura a him, but that's because it's easier to lapse into, not because I think it's his gender XD). Oh, man, I can rant for hours saying the same thing lol /endsrantforreal I really liked SeishirouxSubaru also, but then came X lol Have you seen/read Petshop of Horrors and Mononoke?
Ugh! I was the biiiigest KuroFai shipper, and that made me have like a hernia. They basically are cannon... platonicly. Rage. Even if I do love them. Oh, I knew it looked CLAMP-y, now that I recognize it I can definitely see it. Yeah I always assumed Ashura was an it, since they specifically stated s/he was. For some reason though, whenever I saw Ashura, my mind automatically went to male. It's mostly because all clamp men look a little dainty anyway, so before I knew s/he was an it I always thought it was a he.
Oh yes, I love CLAMP! (avatar is Ashura [RGVeda/TRC], after all lol) I know what you mean, they're soooo evilllll, like when people asked them if on that one con if KuroxFai would be cannon and they just laughed and went "You want them to? " lol EVIL CLAMP IS EVIL (but I love them all the same!). My all times fave manga from theirs is RG Veda. I'm just Ashura-obsessed (And YashaxAshura is love, even thought technically it's not yaoi because Ashura is genderless even if they keep calling it a girl ¬¬* Totally kills me when they draw Ashura with (noticeable XD) boobs- I mean, it's got a totally flat chest when grown up anyway! Even if it was a girl, it would be a very flat chested one! XD) /end rant. Yes, Like I was saying... RG Veda, and Tsubasa, which I only read for the KuroxFai. XD
I know, I think she lives just to taunt me with her possible yaoi. =3= Ah, are you familiar with any of CLAMP's works? They're the other most notorious ship teasers. They have, on multiple occasions, declared a couple I loved to be cannon- and then gone on to never show them kissing even once. :<
