Karidos is a well versed young prince in line to become king
Description
Karidos, Aka Ridos has soft blond hair and bright brown eyes and appears to be in his early twenties. He stands six feet, three inches tall and is well muscled as one who has been raised to wear armor and fight with swords might be expected to be. He is not broad in the shoulder, so his muscle creates the effect of a lean, but powerful figure. His wild blond hair falls to shoulder length when not pulled back into a neat pony tail. Ridos has a wide face to accommodate his broad smiles, and although young, his eyes have smile crinkles marking them already.He wears fine silk tunics in the preferred colors of his kingdom, a rich shade of golden orange accenting deep shades of grey and black.

Personality
Ridos is extremely trusting and quick to laughter. His kingdom is one of the more powerful in the region it inhabits, and the subjects are happy and well cared for. There are few enough dark magics in this kingdom that the prince has trouble believing in these things. Of course, there are elves and other fae, as well as huge beasts of magical origin well worth hunting, but these things are natural where as the dark arts seem unreal to him. He is slightly flirty in nature, as befits a young prince, but his charm continues to the point that he would never press a maiden to do unchaste things.
Equipment / Abilities
Ridos is well trained in the use of a large sword and shield, as well as the use of re-curve bows for hunting. He has been taught ll the basics of royal life including history, politics, dancing horse riding, hunting and falconry (along with many other minor skills and talents that one in his position is expected to know and understand. He was also taught some very basic light magic which allows him to bless crops for better growth and helps him to heal more quickly after battle.
His equipment varies widely depending upon the situation. After all, he would not wear full armor into a ballroom or wield his sword at a dinner party. The point is, he DOES have a wealthy, powerful kingdom at his disposal. When he takes on weapons, they are only the best, when he dresses for an evening of elbow rubbing this too is the best of what can be gotten.
History
Ridos grew up in the lap of luxury being ever surrounded by tutors and trainers while his father ran the kingdom with his mother as a figure of support. His kingdom is a wealthy and powerful kingdom in a fantastical world surrounded by many similar kingdoms. Growing up as the eldest son, heir to the throne since birth, Ridos was favored in his home palace and through out his lands. Often, growing up, he would make trips into the local cities to meet with the people there, some times flirting with beautiful peasants or inviting local noblemen to join him on a harrowing hunt. He has, in his time, enjoyed the form of a young woman or two, but generally tends on the chaste side while waiting for marriage. After all, what would his kingdom be if there were little illegitimate children running all around? Now he is in his early twenties and the time to find a wife has come. The king has arranged for several extravagant balls, inviting all the eligible royals from neighboring kingdoms in good standing to meet for the creation of future allies.
