Synopsis
A fledgling witch; Private side character


Description
Name: Eliza Proctor, named after an ancestor - Lizzie, Liz or Eli are all acceptable in her book
Age: 19
Eyes: Dark grey, looking almost black in dim settings
Hair: Raven black, shoulder blade length, naturally curly but she usually straightens it or has it pulled up with various pins and ties.
Skin: Olive toned and naturally tanned looking
Height: 5' 8"

Body type: Naturally thin with little figure to speak of. Her face has lingering baby fat and her legs have been said to resemble 'chicken legs'. She's somewhat twiggy, but don't let it fool you. She may appear fragile but she's fierce.

Daily attire: Eliza follows a mixture of punk, emo and goth style. She prefers everything in black, lining her eyes in it, coating her nails with it, and painting her lips with it. She wears black skinny jeans on most days, paired with a pair of black or red high top converse. She wears a black over the shoulder bag with various personal belongings inside and a book.

Voice: She's not exactly soft spoken, but she doesn't tend to speak out often either. She's more of a watch and calculate sort of girl, before speaking. Her voice is feminine but naturally loud enough that she never needs to speak up.


Personality
Eliza is a little bit quirky. She has superstitions and habits that make most people think she's slightly batty. She probably is, but that isn't the point. She has a black one-eyed cat that she calls Captain and claims he used to be a pirate before he was turned into a cat by one of her ancestors. The cat does tend to have a strange and strikingly intelligent personality...

The girl likes to laugh, having a hard time taking most things too seriously and is somewhat of a hopeless romantic. She's a member of several dating sites and has lived on her own since she was 16, when her grandmother passed away, leaving her the tiny little old fashioned house on a hill just outside of the city. Her dates are usually left running away in fear or are even stranger than Eliza herself.

Fancying herself a witch, Eliza doesn't actually have any of her powers yet, though she'll soon realize that the rumors and legends of her family were true and that she really is a witch. For now, she carries various "spell" ingredients, charms and a grimiore that she found in her grandmother's things, and casts spells from time to time that either don't work, or hilariously do seem to somehow work in strange ways.


Equipment / Abilities
Right now, Eliza can cast messed up spells, though no one ever realizes she's really the cause of the misfortunes they cause. Eventually, Eliza will be able to communicate with those passed on, locate people and objects and do a fine job at casting spells for various things. She will even be able to bring people back from the dead. But all of the darker magics will come at a hefty price.


History
Never knowing her father, Eliza's mother abandoned her with her grandmother when she was just seven years old. When Eliza was 16 her grandmother passed away, though the cause remains unknown. Her grandmother was 125, though everyone believes the old woman was just into her late 70's. The small house on the hill located just outside of the city was left to Eliza. Already paid for, the girl only had to pick up a job after school, to pay the small amount that electricity, water, food, etc. would cost. Her aunt came to live with her just a few months later to help, though has since moved on now that Eliza has graduated school and is an adult. Recently, Eliza has been having strange visions of people she's never met.
