Derrick is willing to step on anybody to get what he wants. His main goal in life is to become rich and powerful beyond most peoples dreams. He doesn't care about anybody but himself and will literally do anything to meet his goals. His family is a long line of demon and devil hunters though in recent years they have taken to hunting just about anything they determine to be "undeserving." They hold no remorse for the creatures they kill. Because of his background and his "do whatever it takes" attitude he's quickly climbing the ladder at the school slave and creature wise.
