(Above are the fancy dressed up pictures of Rose Wesson. Normally she wears simpler clothes.)

General Appearance:

A little lady by all accounts. Rose has long curly red hair, always styled fashionably. Her eyes are hazel. She holds herself up with the grace of fawn and has the pride of a lioness in the look of her eyes. Rose is a looker and had caught the eye of a Colt born man. Normally the notable Gunsmith families don't mingle, but Rose is a beauty. Charles Colt couldn’t resist.

Personality

The Good: Easy company, a smile on her face. Responsible, and collected. Rose is the sweet motherly type who would offer you a coat in cold weather, or some cold iced tea in the heat. Her affectionate nature befits her. Yet, she isn't a push over. Rose can be a soft worded lady unless taken to the edge of anger. She's had moments of a sharp tongue. And she's a great shot, thanks to her husband Angus. Rose may be a kind woman, but she understands the world. She is always holding her breath when the door is knocked on. Any day can be a day to be greeted by Gunslinger's to tell her about her husbands death. Yet, she is accepting of what her husband does. It's his passion. Rose can never reject him for it, or criticize him for it.

The Bad: Rose can be so fussy over you, that ideas like how you dress and what you do for hobbies and things can come across as controlling. Nuala is immersed in womanly activities. Weather she likes it or not. Even if Nuala doesn't mind a few of them, she can't stand some of the feminine talents that Rose insists she learn. On more than one occasion she can be overly competitive if she gets into that mode.

The Ugly: Making the choices she's made, some of the 'classy good' company a woman of her breeding would keep has been lost. A Wesson Gunsmith turning down a shining career for wool and a family? Gossip, gossip, gossip! What a scandalous person she was for settling down in the farmland out of the Cirty, with a Gunslinger who's got a hard past. Rose is a wild fire to those people. So she's had her troubles with trying to be cordial with them. If they do get out of line with her, Rose can show her ugly side.

Equipment / Abilities

O- 'Lady' Her own Smith and Wesson revolver, crafted herself. A unique gun. A bit of magic in it, but nothing over done. Mostly to help keep it clean, and in working order. Her guns hardly ever miss, due to the one other magic detail she crafts into them. Not many guns like hers are out there, because she's not a full time Gunsmith.

O- Anything a person can use that's made from wool.

O- Charm, wit, and precision. A leader if she wanted to be. But that was never her true calling.

The Arts: Not one thing you can throw at her she can't do regarding the arts. Singing, dancing, and all the rest. Nuala feels like she's being made to do the same. It scares Nuala how good her mother is at those things. And to think Rose is tying to get Nuala to do the same! It's not that Rose it perfction, she's just had so much time spent on the arts, that all the work has come to fruitation. (Rose won't admit it, but she despises shopping and making clothes. She really only likes making the wool part of it.)

Fighting:

Angus was the one who insisted that she learn hand-to-hand. Rose was already a good shot, but Angus helped her improve her technique. She doesn't like fighting, but it's inescapable. Angus noted the consistent 'woops, sorry', 'oh, I didn't mean to hit you that hard', and 'do you need to rest? You've got a bloody nose.' Whenever she got him good during there little training sessions. Just like the soft hearted woman she is.

Other Talents:

A strange kind of ruthless resolve can come over her, when the time calls for it. After all, the most dangerous place in the world, is between a mother and her children.

History

Rose Helena Wesson grew up in the good graces of Camelot society. She was the talented, pretty, and well bred woman of a classic Gunsmith family. When Charles Colt had her in his good favor, everyone expected Rose to marry him one day. Wouldn't that be something? Two famous names in wedlock? But, when Angus McNair, some random Gunslinger came into the picture, everyone wagged a finger at her. No Wesson was going to be with a no-good, rough, mischievous looking bad-boy who keeps more mystery about himself in one smile than a thousand words can tell!

At first, Rose stood her ground, having seen Angus at his best. For the time being. Besides, Charles was nice, but not her type. He might be a son of the Colt family, but he took a job as a Judge. Not bad pay, good material things, honest work and a respectable man. That was nice... but Rose didn’t love him. First off, he planned on having her be an idle housewife to raise his kids, alone. Secondly, Angus brought out in her a well spring of life that Charles never could come close to doing.

Then when her friends home was raided by the 'Colts' and it was clear that Angus was apart of that gang, she dropped him like a hot coal out of anger. Her family pushed her back into a shallow relationship with Charles, and hated it. He was so... pompous. Every day was like a frustrated sigh. Rose had to turn Angus away when he came after her, and she felt so let down.

Charles proposed to Rose, over a candle lit dinner, and she said no. He was shocked, and insisted that his reasons were sound for her to marry him. But she said, 'Get the hell out of my dam house.' It wasn't like Rose to use strong words. And that gave him the message. But before he left, she smiled and said she'd rather be a friends. Charles holds a grudge against Angus, and secretly still has a place in his heart for Rose.

Everyone looked at her like she was a freak for turning Charles away. Resigned to be an old maid, since she didn't love anyone else, Rose was elated to be greet by Angus a few days later. Cleaned up and a Squire. She took to him like a bird to the sky and she even believed him when he told her the 'Colt' trouble-making wasn't him, and that he would make it stop. After he became a full fledge, respectable Gunslinger, she agreed to marry him.

Many prominent Gunsmith's, some say including the Merlin, shook their heads. The Wesson family nearly fainted. Their pretty prodigy Gunsmith, married to a Gunslinger? NO! No, no, no! And look! Angus poisoned her by introducing her to wool. WOOL! Well, Rose felt like it was meant to be. She was magic with her hands while making a gun, sure, but wool? Simply enchanting! Anything and everything she could make from that endless beautiful white fluff was her passion. Wool was her talent soulmate so to speak.

But, her family forgave her after they were presented with their firstborn. The child took their hearts and all hate for Angus was.... dimmed. Aunt Jane in particular didn't mind Angus. And she adored Nuala, who was the only girl. At the moment she is doing what she does best. Weaving wool and hoping she never gets a knock on the door that would make her a widow.
