Description
Eli is a 21 year old pretty boy, around 6'4, not exactly buff but very fit, (you can tell he works out,) with red shaggy hair that has black lowlights over bright yellow eyes. He is a bit on the tan side, and he has a long tribal style dragon tattoo on his left arm. He has a vertical scar on the right side of his neck/face, and snake bites. He has two studs in each ear lobe as well as a piercing in his right eyebrow. He also has a tongue piercing. He loves formal style clothing and wears vests often, though it's usually just with some darker, nicer looking jeans. He's definitely quite fashionable.
Personality
He's quite the friendly man, especially towards women. Due to his history, he generally feels a bit bitter towards men, but he hides it well. He's often very lonely, and has trouble making friends. But when he does make friends, he's quite clingy and protective of them. He's not exactly quiet, especially when he's expressing his opinions, but he does not enjoy causing unnecessary drama.
However, if someone were to bring up domestic abuse or misogynistic actions in general, this will upset him greatly. If he were to ever view such actions, he would snap, and the safety of the one doing such things is not guaranteed.
Sets of twins that aren't the same gender also bother him quite a bit.
Equipment / Abilities
Eli is pure brute force when it comes to fighting. He has little to no combat skill, but his strength is great. He doesn't exactly have a magic ability, though he can mess with other people's emotions and how they feel about things. It can be subtle or drastic depending on how Eli himself is feeling. Because of his connections with emotions, he can be overly empathetic towards feelings that people around him have, (especially strong feelings,) which can be painful for him depending on the feeling of the person. He can sense what people feel about different things, and he can sense the true reasons as to why people do certain things. He finds people fascinating and frightening at the same time because of that. Of course, he can only pick these things up when they are in range of him, which is about 10 yards. After that, he can still sense how people feel, but he can't do anything with it at all.
Other than that, the only abilities he really has are his looks. He can also play the guitar.
History
This poor man has a long, quite disturbing history.
He started out in his little home with a twin sister, his mother, and his father. When he and his sister were about 8, something happened with Eli and his poor sister ended up dead. Eli doesn't remember this at all, and hardly remembers his sister. His mother frantically tried to take care of it, and had a funeral for the poor little girl and everything. His father, however, didn't even care. His father was generally a bad person, being an angry, violent drunk and abusive towards both Eli and his mother. One night when he was 13, his mother had enough. She grabbed Eli and put some of his things together and told him they were going on a long trip. His father, however, didn't want that. He ended up raping and murdering Eli's mother, all while Eli was there to watch. After he realized his mother was dead, his father had passed out on their bed, so he ran to the kitchen, grabbed a large knife, and went to his father and stabbed him repeatedly, cutting him in multiple places. His father tried to resist and ended up cutting Eli with the knife on his face, which is where he got the large scar from. After he was sure his father was dead, he glanced at his mother and ended up laying there with her for a moment, crying. He got up and washed himself off, took the things his mother had prepared before which included most of their funds and cards out of their wallets.
He's been avoiding his home town ever since, and finds himself wandering into various places, accepting jobs and money from people, while still keeping his distance.
