APOLLO IS A WALKING FASHION INSERT; HE KNOWS WHAT TO WEAR AND THEN, PERHAPS MORE IMPORTANTLY, HOW TO WEAR IT.

Personality

THE ATHLETE

Even though it was against school regulations to have dyed hair (particularly true of the non-natural shades), Aki still showed up to class with striking silver hair. He even had the audacity to smile and wave at the monitor on duty (Mr. Fukushima). But even though he was punished for his insolence (given two weeks worth of chores and a reflection essay), his hair remained noticeably silver. He told people that it was his natural hair color (that he was born with silver hair and he's just been dying it black), but most people think it had something to do with him being the track team's ace.

THE FRONT

Despite having been left in the care of his aging grandparents, Akihito was strangely well-adjusted. He was friendly and outgoing—all smiles, all laughter. He was bold. He was daring. And he was seemingly unafraid of anything. He would be the first one to admit to his fears (he didn't like scary movies, screamed like a girl). And he was the first to confess his embarrassment. He was good with people and it didn't hurt that he was fairly good-looking. Girls wanted to be with him and guys wanted to be him. Or so the story goes. But, really, popular image is only as convincing as the image.

THE BOY

Everyone has always said that Aki wore his heart on his sleeves, that his thoughts were transparent, and that his honesty was refreshing. Everyone always said that Aki was a good boy with a good head on his shoulder and a better soul in his heart. But everyone has secrets of their own. Everyone has demons that keep them up at night, worried in the day, and anxious throughout their years. And Aki, brilliant as he was, bright as he was, knew that type of darkness better than most.

History

The Truth: Despite everything in his life, Akihito doesn't resent his parents for leaving him. He doesn't understand why they had to leave (or why he had to be left behind), but he doesn't begrudge them for their decision (bad as it was). Some people would say that he's mature—kind and forgiving. But reality would tell a different story. You see, Aki, since childhood, had decided that if his parents didn't care about him, then he would return the favor. He doesn't acknowledge their existence and he most certainly does not accept the fact that he has a brother—a twin brother. To Aki, there is no mother, no father, and no brother.

Everyone had died long, long ago.
