Daichi shouldn't be left alone in the world. He thinks too kindly of everyone, and always believes that no matter one's actions that they are inherently good. This kind of thinking was what his mother raised him on, and this sort of thinking in the reason she isn't around anymore. To lost souls he is a godsend, but to everyone else he is just another step on a set of stairs to the top. Yet Daichi isn't a moron- he knows when he is being used and just tries to smile through it. He was always told that a positive attitude and hard work is the best way to live, and so he has.

The sad thing about Daichi is that most of the time he forgets about himself before he forgets about others.
