Name: Alise Bea Decker
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Eye and Hair Color: Light Green/Yellow Blonde
Height and Build: 5'2" & 162 lbs
OccupationPatient Care Assistant
Brief Description: Alise is a compact bundle of joy. She was cursed with the worst genes: her father's big bones and her mother's height. She has ever pale skin dotted with sun freckles and fair yellow hair. A plump midsection topped off with a fine chest and bottomed out with wide-set hips; her upper body strength is far better then her lower body. Essentially: she packs a killer right hook and hates to run. Her waist length hair is almost always in a braid over her shoulder or fastened into a bun at the top of her head. She is always fashioned in a pair of high heels - compensating for her height - a fair amount of jewelry circling her wrists and fingers and a pair of skinny jeans; with the exception of when she is at work where she only wears white scrubs and white tennis shoes. She has reading glasses, but you will rarely see her sporting the wiry pair of spectacles.

Personality
Alise Bea Decker is a regular city girl and grew up rather normally. She was taught to follow rules and live inside the norm, due to her life as a Military Baby. Her father is rather strict and overbearing but her mother was always compassionate and tried to let her hold onto her childhood as long as she could. Alise has a mean temper but it is fairly difficult to rouse that part of her. Alise takes after her caring mother, making her rather laid back and a socialite. However it can be hard to get to know her because she tends to come on a little strong at first and many people seem to shy away from that kind of behavior. But if you stick around long enough, she is the most loyal friend. Alise is also a little flirty by nature -intentional or not- and always knows how to have a good time; but when something needs getting done she reigns herself in accordingly and sees the task through. Because of her father's influence, along with the a strict standard of living, Alise is quite hard on herself.

Equipment / Abilities
Carry-on: Alise only really brought her purse and a back-pack.
Purse:
Wallet with a cluster of bills and coins. No identifiable cards at all.
A clunky 2nd generation classic i-Pod named Charlie, filled with many genres of music. An excessive amount of ska, jazz, acoustic and easy-listening tunes. (A wall-charger is also in there for when the batteries die.)
Cigarette lighter and cigarettes.
A Journal filled with secrets and thoughts. And a quality black ball-point pen.
A single photo of her family on a camping trip when she was 8. (Her parents are smiling in it.)
Her reading glasses.
Shoulder-pack:
A locked Jewelry box containing her money, and objects close to her heart.
Two changes of clothes.
Her tooth-brush, tooth paste and floss.

History
The only daughter of two loving parents. At a tender age of ten, her parents split up, explaining that they fell out of love with each other. Later in her life Alise learns that it was more than that. The separation causes are due to her dad's career as a General Officer for the American Armed Forces and her mom's illness. Her father was almost always away on duty and her mother - being diagnosed with an illness that slowly ate away at her physical functions and eventually her psychological functions - left before she would become a burden on Alise's father. Alise was sent to live with her mother instead of staying with a father that was barely ever around.
Alise and her mother were always very close and at a young age Alise learned that she would need to put her mother's needs above her own; and took the job of care giver for her mother. Which would later become her passion and future career focus. The rest of her young years she was given help by a home nurse that would see to her mothers safety and needs, while Alise got her education. She graduated high school but while her mother's illness became more and more of a concern, she opted to take care of her mother until she would be able to pursue without constant worry for her mother's health. She kept a job at the Hospital to take care of bills and keep food on the table, as an Orderly.

It wasn't until Alise's mother fell fatally ill, and had to be taken to the hospital, where things began to go wrong. For over a year Alise was in and out of hospital with her mother. Shortly after these trips began to become more frequent, Alise's mother passed. Leaving Alise quite alone in a world that was never really kind to her.
After her mother's funeral she was left with the burden of financial and funeral arrangements. Without the support or aid from her father, who was away on a tour in a bitter desert somewhere east; she was left groping for some stability within the cluster of unbalanced situations, completely alone.
However, it wasn't until the fatal news of her father's passing that things started to make her a little batty. With both her parents being in the ground, mere months apart, Alise finally felt herself breaking down.
So, with the inheritance she was granted from the Military and her mother's life insurance, she packed up a single bag with her most important things, and set out for an island where she could forget, at least for a little while.
