Isn't the very talkative type, unless your discussing a tomb. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to literature, historical scripts and figures alike, the philosophical, mythical, supernatural and physiological aspects of life and the human mind; due to his extensive study of everything in the written word. Cormac always finds a reason to speak about things concerning books, and finds a way to relate the things that are being spoken about in any conversation he is a part of, to a book. He can be very helpful, when he puts his mind to the task at hand but otherwise he keeps to himself. Because of his past, and the fact that he saw nearly everyone he was close to die, it has made him a very jumpy person.

History
FAMILY:
Robert Hale - Father
Delia Hale - Mother
Jordie Peters - Sister (Married to Harry Peters)

REPUTATION: The strange one. Many of his co-workers keep away from him, because of his alleged past and connection to the murders 20 years previous and allow him to stay in his den (the library). Even the two individuals that survived along side him seem to ignore his existence entirely (as if he had been the one that died instead of the others). Regardless of how kind a man he really is, many people tend to steer clear of him. The students are a mystery to Cormac, however he's sure a few of the younger book-worms in the high school see him in a higher esteem than his collegues, but otherwise ignore his presence, unless of course they need his insight.

MEMOIRS: Originally from a small town called Astoria along the West Coast outside Portland Oregon, Cormac grew up rather normally along side his twin sister. With few close friends, being the scrawny weird kid, who read too much and played far too many Online Games to be considered cool.Cormac grew up well. It wasn't until he was the age of 16 and the family moved to St. Jeanne's, because of his father's work (Surgeon) just in time for high school, where he was enrolled in ARC high school private academy.
He was thrown, literally, into mayhem. Just under the noses of nearly every staff member and the entire student body -aside from 9 others- he defended the world against Corruption. But was still mysteriously left with a rare number of friends during the light hours of the day. The circumstances usually kept Cormac and the others up until the wee hours of the morning, however he still managed to pass all his classes at the top of his grade, with honors and certificates to the most prestigious of universities. After he survived the fiasco that was dubbed the St. Jeane's murders, by home officials, news departments and the town folk, Cormac decided instead of going abroad to study what he wanted to do after high school; he stayed and became the librarian of the school that nearly took his life, but ruined it all the same. Go figure.
For almost 20 years, Cormac has lived a simple life, filled with insomnia -due to the fear of nightmares in his sleep-, a severe case of anxiety related stress, and a nosy cat to keep his home life comfortable. He is completely unattached and rarely talks to his sister or family, who all moved away after graduation.
