Synopsis
The Shah of Diamonds

Description
[...[ ]...]
Simply handsome is the best way to describe him. His complexion, his thin figure at the height of 5'9", and his clothing and makeup all compliment well and makes him the most beautiful in Diamond Waste. Zalazar would even go as far as to claim the most handsome of Wonderland. Zalazar is currently at age 422, which makes him the youngest ruler amongst the royalty of Wonderland. In human years, Zalazar would be in his young teenage year (specifically around 15-16).

Every morning, Zalazar would have servants dress him up in his extravagant red suit, then the commander military coat. Most of the time, a mantle would go over his shoulder. The suit itself is accessorize with various gems and jewels to make the whole attire look radiant. Once his clothes have been fitted to a perfect fit, Zalazar would commence on make up by himself. Using granulated dust made from pearls harvested from the largest oysters in the land, he would dust his face completely to mask his skin in order to make a very pale complexion. Under the make up is just a light tan skin tone. This is very much an important tradition for the Shah of Diamonds.

Zalazar eyes are amber with black diamond corona, and his fire opal hair is long and lengthy but tied up in a bun when being active. There are no scars on Zalazar's body.

Personality
In the presence of his people, Zalazar us seem poise and calm. When he talks, his voice rings throughout the land and when heard is adored and loved. Zalazar was taught kindness and compassion by his parents. To be fair to all and respected by some. He shows intellect in his speech because of the teachings of the scholars and is always superior to those who serves him.

However, he is a spoiled child. There were very little time when he was actually punished for anything he did, so he was always too carefree and does not completely understand the consequences of his actions. He is somewhat haughty and is very attracted to things that radiates with beauty. Using force to get what he can physically own.

Zalazar is childish and naive. He is the commander of the army but will not participate in any campaigns made. He keeps himself to the palace and kingdom grounds.

Zalazar is physically weak and does not know any combat skills, so a single punch may as well be his demise. He relies on the help of his servants and troops for any use of force and physical chores. But when threaten he hides himself from danger and would revert to toddler-like behaviour.

Equipment / Abilities
Defense is the Best Offense
The gems on his clothing are not just plain accessories. Some of them are actually magical stone that once belonged to Spade Empire sorcerers who traded them with past generation royalty. They were then stashed away in dungeons, stored with Zalazar's late forefathers. But many of these gems were then dug up and given to Zalazar once they have been examined to have magical powers.

One of the gem that hangs from his obi can create a four-story wall of stone surrounding his kingdom. Another on a ring can create stone or mineral golems to fight on the battlefield. The last is in his hair needle that could detect any sort of jewel, gem, and mineral in the vicinity of 5 metre.

However, conjuring up walls and golems are very limited in strength and ability. Zalazar can only conjure them up on the true territory of Diamond Wastes, so he can not use golems to send on battlefields in other territories, even if he had conquer parts of other lands. Once they cross the border, they simply crumble and die. Also building up walls take a whole lot of time till it is fully erect. It would take about one week before a full wall have been built up. The usage of them do not take any strength from the user but the scholars who have examined them fears that they may break due to the fragile nature of the stone. So Zalazar would only use them in last defense effort if he meets a full frontal invasion.

History
The royal families in Jeweled Diamond Wastes are very kept apart. Despite all of them having the same bloodline and are very much family, no family tends to interact with any of them unless called upon by the Shah in special meetings. The Diamond Waste government is based on succession of the throne, where the royal family who controls the throne will pass it to the eldest prince of their family at a certain age. Mostly the princes are given the inheritance when the Shah dies at an early age (not many Shah have passed the age of 40 before they have to give up the throne). The government also recognizes succession through coup and political assassination so that was what mainly caused the secular family relationship.

Zalazar is an only child of the Ahmadi family and was mainly pampered by his family and servants. He grew up loved and spoiled, taught by the most prominent scholars of Diamond Waste, and was given the most rarest and most expensive jewels by many of the miners and merchants. He grew up separated from people of his own age and was mainly just treated as a child no matter how old he kept getting.

When Zalazar was at the early age of 400, the Ahmadi had worked together with another family to pull off a coup against the current Shah. The coup had succeeded, but the Ahmadi was betrayed by the other family because of their weakness of fair and compassionate lifestyle. They had wish to eliminate the Ahmadi in case anyone would dare take vengeance on them. But before they could pull off a massacre, Zalazar had already set his revenge plan in motion. He did not flew into a fit of rage, but instead strategically eliminated the entire enemy family through mercenaries and servant manipulation. Thus Zalazar had cleanly eliminated the current Shah and took over as Diamond Waste next ruler.

The moment he stepped into rule, Zalazar had already begun commissions and campaigns on the other kingdoms in Wonderland. It should be assumed that Zalazar was the first who broke the peace of the four kingdom, but nobody really knows how and why this war had actually started.
