Synopsis
Why do I walk on this earth?

Description
Though she has a pretty, well-formed face, the remainder of Lilac's body is built of cheap, primitive parts that were probably scrapped together by her creator. Most of her plating has been coated in a golden paint, but closer inspection will show that her deeper parts are nowhere near as beautiful.

Her tiny body is made mostly of only locomotive parts, but her head is made of more intricate gears and such. Behind the structures that make up her optic system are two, minute power cores. Their function is to increase her line of sight by ten-fold, making her the perfect lookout for a tower. Instead of human-looking ears, she wears a plated headset. Once again, compared to the rest of her body, the headset is delicately and beautifully made with only the finest parts, perfect for being a lookout, and even better for a spy.

In order to cover up the ghastly appearance of her mechanisms, Lilac was also given a set of clothing to wear. If she was to appear similar to the creators, then she would dress like one. To cover up her shoulders and arms, she normally wears a kind of cylindrical drape over them. Her torso is covered with a normal, white shirt. Her legs are covered by plain, golden-beige, baggy pants. Lilac also wears a red ribbon around her neck, supposedly given to her by her maker.

One look at Lilac can tell you only one thing: her maker was more interested in bettering her functions as a tower lookout; he wasn't interested in whether or not she could actually function or fend for herself.

Personality
Lilac is still confused by her newfound emotions -- as a Slave, she merely followed her programming. Now that she can wander around Gilead, she is slowly discovering a world of Inheritors, Slaves, and, worst of all, Bandits. She can relate to the Slaves, and she holds a certain respect towards them. It may be because she still remembers some of her time as a Slave, but any true reason is unknown. Lilac is very cautious and reserved around other Inheritors. Most of the Inheritors she had ever met were crude and cruel, opting to reprogram the poor Slaves whenever they felt bored. It is a practice that makes Lilac sick. Bandits are an entirely different story -- it seems like some groups of Bandits want her to join them. They always say her ears and eyes would be a perfect addition to their group, but it was for that exact reason that Lilac always refused and ran away. If they wanted her ears and her eyes, they would have to dismantle her.

Unfortunately, Lilac is a robot of very few words, but not because she is cold. She is extremely shy and can be slightly paranoid sometimes. It prevents her from interacting with most other Gileadeans.

Equipment / Abilities
Besides the headset and advanced optic wiring, Lilac was built with a set of springs in her feet. Theoretically, the springs can be used to propel her forward while running. However, due to the weak nature of her metal skeleton, Lilac never exerts so much force. She opts to walk instead of quicken her own, imminent destruction.

History
Her life as a Slave is something that Lilac will never forget. She can remember standing atop an atmospheric tower, merely staring past the horizon, miles and miles past the horizon, further than what a normal robot could see. She would watch. Listen. Guard. Those were her tasks. It was how she was programmed. What she cannot remember is how and when she became an Inheritor.

The day she became an Inheritor, Lilac's body began to function as if by a whim. Her eyes snapped open and glowed as her body prepared itself. There was sand and debris all over her. As she rose, she was unsteady on her feet, her metal parts almost causing her pain -- she never remembered having such a hard time with just moving around. Looking around her, Lilac was completely and utterly baffled by where she was: the middle of nowhere.

Since that day, Lilac has been wandering Gilead, not sure of where to go or what to do. She had been theorizing what happened to her: perhaps she was decommissioned and then reactivated by some trigger. Perhaps she was scrapped.

At this point, there's nothing she can do about it.

Extra
Lilac has a very weak sense of emotion. It's difficult for her to understand her own, and don't even get started with others. It's very easy to get angry with her because she is so blunt, but it's not her fault, so go easy on her.
