Equipment / Abilities
Extent of Abilities
Eve is an Eraser, but she can only use her powers when weilding her performance fans. These fans are the only things that her parents left her, and they are very important to Eve, which explains why (in the future) she will be able to fight with them by releasing materialized charges of her energy.

Weaknesses
Eve is not a physically strong person, which may damper her efforts in the near future.
Also, in order to continue using her fans as weapons, she will be required to continuously course her energy through them. Obviously, this is not the most efficient thing, and thus, Eve will have to take long breaks in order to prevent herself from passing out or the like.

Weapon: Performance Fans

History
For Eve, her history is one that she wishes not to ever remember.

Long ago, when she was still a little girl, she lived happily with her parents, both of whom loved her very much. She lived in a modest house and enjoyed all the things that little children would: playing outside, bothering her parents, etc. The life she lived was a happy one -- but that's all she can say about it now.

Caught in the middle of the crossfire, Eve was the witness of the brutal murder of her parents. She thought that she could escape the house, and tried to run away, but one of the men found her and realized that she had seen everything -- if they went to court, that little girl could incarcerate them. Not wanting to kill Eve, that man slashed a knife across her face and managed to damage her eyes. The murderers had come and gone, taking away everything she had in the blink of an eye, leaving her writhing on the floor in pain. When she came to and tried to open her eyes, she didn't understand why everything was pitch black. She rubbed her eyes and blinked, but there was still nothing there.

She was blind.

For a week, she remained huddled in the corner, mumbling to herself. When the week passed, she was found by her aunt and uncle. They were disturbed by the scene and had planned to take Eve away from the mess, but Eve made that nearly impossible. Thinking that they were the murderers, she began to fling objects at them and sob, screaming random malarky as she tossed things all around her, unsure of where anyone was. Somehow, her aunt managed to reassure her that no one was going to hurt her and finally take her out of that house, immediately sending her to a hospital. They hoped that the prognosis wouldn't be as bad as they thought.

Unfortunately, there was only a worst-case scenario: Eve was completely blinded from the trauma to her eyes, and, according to a psych evaluation done several months after, she was also rendered incapable of understanding human emotions, fears, actions, etc.

For the rest of her life, Eve stayed with her aunt and uncle as they tried to heal her timeless wounds. They homeschooled her and tried their very best to help her return to the person she was before. Unfortunately, though Eve became a very intelligent person, she never managed to regain her understanding of people.

At the age of 13, Eve was introduced to the fine art of modern Chinese dancing. Though she could not see any of the performers, she could hear how they jumped and thumped along the floor, how they sliced through the air with fans made of cloth. This intrigued her quite a bit, and she begged her relatives to let her learn how to dance. With some degree of hesitation, Eve's aunt and uncle agreed to enroll her a class, where she struggled for about a year.

After Eve's 14th birthday, things began to change. Suddenly, her brain was able to show her flashes of images. If someone moved, she would see that movement in her head as if it were a picture frozen in time. However, she never shared this with anyone and kept it to herself. Sometimes, she would be caught focusing on a certain object as she tried to force her brain to let her "see" it, making the excuse that she was daydreaming.

As the years passed by, her condition grew fairly better. With her new ability, she was able to remember the movements and positions for her dances, and she started to excel.

However, things started to go downhill after a while. Soon enough, she began to see things that were not supposed to be there: a pair of eyes, or a nose. Afraid that she would be labeled as a schizophrenic, Eve decided to deal with it all alone. In no way did she ever know that there was a reason behind it all...

Extra
Likes: Music, reading (Braille book, of course), performing, fine arts, cooking, singing
Dislikes: Strenuous physical exercise, sweet things, criminals, writing, people in general
Fears: Sharp weapons, guns, heights, losing the rest of her senses

Hobbies: Practicing past performances, singing, talking walks
Obsessions: Her fans

Other Weaknesses: Being blind, uncoordinated, overly blunt, accidentally rude

Other Strengths: Over time, Eve has managed to develop a condition in which she can "see" demons and moving entities (including humans) by actually using her eyes and other senses. Her subconscious utilizes the receptors in her eyes and her other senses to create an image. Though her eyes have been damaged, it is suspected that the connections that her eyes have to her brain have not been traumatized in any way, which gives rise to this condition.
