Synopsis
They did always say she was a strange one, the one you have to be careful of.


Description
Kai is a 17 year-old female, with dark brown hair that reaches her shoulders and dark brown eyes with an empty look. Wears purple, rectangle-shaped glasses. Glasses are heavy, when she's not wearing them she has red marks on the bridge of her nose from their weight. Hair is self-cut, so it's a bit scraggy and dirty-looking. Face is normal, no strange proportions. Athletic build, not too skinny, but not overweight. 

Wears black hoodie with a purple stripe down the center where the zipper is, and underneath a shirt with hand-drawn designs, usually eyes or mouths. Wears boot-cut jeans that fit her, and tennis sneakers.


Personality
Kai is a very fun girl, loves to talk, to others and herself. She hates silence, and will do everything in her power to make the people around her feel happy and good about themselves, if only on the outside. The only thing she does when she's not talking to others is read, read, read. She's very good at anything having to do with science, and loves animals. She's a bit gullible, but only because she's so nice. Deep down inside, she has a very low self-esteem, which is why she tries so hard to help others. To those who don't know her well, she seems loud and obnoxious. Very smart, but a bit eccentric. She is a proud person, and will stand up for her morals.

She's not afraid to speak her mind, and often speaks before thinking, leading to awkward conversations. She's used to them though, and her witty comebacks and sense of humor often fix said conversations. When she's alone, she likes to talk decisions out by talking to herself, and is often around drawing, writing about, or simply watching the scenes around her.



Equipment / Abilities
Carries/wears glasses.
Carries a backpack with a book she's reading, pencils, pens, markers, a notebook, a drawing pad, and a German-English dictionary.
Carries an army knife in her pocket at all times, and while she doesn't like fire arms, knows enough about them to be slightly decent at shooting zombies.
Carrying the keys to the bank lockers and to the bank manager's office.

Has a bit more knowledge about science than most, and knows a bit of Spanish due to her multicultural background. Learned a touch of French in her high and junior high schools. Because her father was worried what might happen to her when she became older, is trained in one martial art with a 5th degree black belt. Fast fighter, and fast on her feet. Athletic, due to the fact that she likes running. Isn't a great cook, but has skills.


History
Kai is the oldest child in her family, and has one little brother. She was a small child when the virus outbreak hit, her family living in Mexico at the time. Her father owned a restaurant, and her mother worked at a separate restaurant. Because of their hours, one parent was always home, if not both. She grew up taking care of her younger brother while watching her mother cook, and helping. When she was a newborn, before her brother was born, the family moved to Canada to try to stay away from the viral plague that was spreading rapidly.

Her father died when she was 6 and her brother 3, from a military attack outside his workplace. Her mother and the children fled to France, terrified for their safety. When she was 10, she was separated from her mom during another attack and eventually took a train to Germany, travelling around until she hit Wunsch, where she is now.

Currently, she is busy trying to find her mom and brother, and while something inside her tells her there isn't a good chance of finding them, she refuses to stop looking. She draws and writes to take her mind off her problems. She is currently employed as the bank's owner.
