Personality: Mai tends to keep to herself and usually can be found in one of the art rooms or somewhere practicing with her glaive when she's not in class. At time she comes off as cold and insensitive, but this is only because she was taught from a young age that love clouds the mind the same way anger does. She does her best to hide her kind heart and more gentle side. Lately she has been more confused and acting out of character by letting her lighter side show through.

Abilities: Mai is able to shift between four different forms; her human form, half human form, beast form and tiger form. She is also able to manipulate water and ice.
Weaknesses: Since Mai's beast and tiger forms take so much energy to maintain if she becomes too weak she'll revert to her human or half human form. Sometimes she even loses consciousness from using too much energy. From time to time she becomes stuck in one of her other forms, which causes major strain to her body.
Weapon(s) of choice: When not using my claws, daggers and a glaive

History: Mai's parents sent her to the academy by the request of her village's elders. For centuries Mai's people had mostly kept themselves hidden from the world. Now they have found they can no longer keep themselves isolated deep within the frozen mountains. She still hasn't gotten totally use to live at the academy. Things are much different here and there are many new and strange things, at least they are new and strange to her. During her first weeks of first year she was getting into fights and feeling very out of place. Things aren't so bad now since she doesn't get into fights as often. Only one person has almost broken through her facade, but he is no longer at the academy.

Likes: Night, music, art, rain and stormy weather
Dislikes: High pitched sounds, bright lights, people who pick on others, and hot/dry weather

Gets Your Heart Racing: Someone who is smart, funny, sweet and a little rough. A guy who is strong, in her village a woman will only submit to a man who is stronger than she is. She doesn't care much about looks, but she prefers tall guys with light brown or blonde hair and green eyes.
