In the vein of excellent hair- it is always awesome when you get a hair cut and it looks good with relatively no maintenance.

That perfect cup of coffee in the morning.

I for one could drink coffee all day, but due to heart issues (I shouldn't even be drinking one) I restrict myself to just one cup a day when I get out of the shower. Which is good because I recently got enough cash to buy one of those mini- Keurig machines. (60 bucks at the Christmas Tree shop. <3 Coupons.) and it makes single cups just perfectly. This morning I had a nice hot cup of French Vanilla and I just feel great. I even ended up chatting with a neighbor I've never met before which was pretty nice. I have a feeling today is gonna be awesome just because of that cup of coffee. xD
And I hope you have not a single still moment.

I love when a day just starts out right. That really awesome feeling that you just know you're going to have a good day.

I also had that kind of morning Schiz. I made a cup of coffee in my french press and was inspired to add a couple of cardamon seeds. It was delicious. Then I got a bunch of stuff done and just feel like today is going to be a great day.

Oh my god, we are sending powerfully good vibes to each other. I will proceed to broadcast them to everyone in WTF and whoever I bump into throughout the day.

I just feel like a super woman when a day goes well. I'm going to go ahead and clean the closet that is in my little brother and sisters room today. When I clean my dads house I usually just do the regular once over but I feel extra inspired to tackle that monster of a closet. It doesn't even have clothes in it... It's one of those.. "This is all the shit we have no place for and we are having company over so lets put it here and never look at it again" closet. I hate saying that long name so when it's clean I'll just shorten it to, "the closet." xD

YOU HAVE A FRENCH PRESS~~~! I am a huge fan of coffee, and working at Starbucks I had to use one of those from time to time and when we would do tastings with my boss we would always use the press. It's the best way to get that... indescribable flavor. +1000 EXP from Schiz~.
And I hope you have not a single still moment.

A french press is the only way I make coffee (well, I would use one of the Kuerig things if I had one). I am normally a tea drinker, but we had just a little bit of leftover whole whipping cream and very few things in life are as satisfying as a nice cup of coffee with real cream. yum.

Growing up, I totally had a "closet". I sort of have one now in the baby/guest room. It has all that stuff that you just don't have anywhere else to put it- camping gear, tools, musical instruments... Apartment living is rough on storage space.

    A thing that is awesome-

That first time you manage to squeeze your baby-plump tuchus back into your pre-pregnancy pants. Not back to a size 6 yet, but I am happy with the ability to at least squeeze into my size 8s.

Agreed Eden, first prize! Even just getting a nice word and someone saying "Hey, good work, Thanks." Is really nice after you've worked your butt off on something. I always try to tell my team "Good Work" when they go above and beyond, but it is really rare among other people.

My boyfriend's new boss (who's leaving soon, thank god) is awful with that--he'll give really obviously fake "good work!"s to everyone. >_<

Finding out your baby is ginormous is pretty awesome. Two months old 14lbs and 24.5 inches long. He is a big boy with lovely baby pudge everywhere. Sadly, he had a very traumatizing day. The vaccinations made him fussy and there was no mommy to comfort him this afternoon.

    Awesome of the night;
(I've been forgetting to do this daily)

Waking up to, "You're really cute when you sleep." It's funny because that is a cheesy line from almost every stupid romance flick out there but damn... it sure does make me smile~!

Finding a new obsession. As for me... because of this site, and the people I've met on it I'm finally going to give a go at tabletop gaming! I went out and bought the essentials today and have been eagerly reading and gathering information! I'm having a blast!

What tabletop system did you choose to go with? I hear Pathfinder is popular now. But I am a fan of Palladium and Earthdawn myself (and some old school AD&D or D&D 1st). I also think BESM is silly and fun.

Well I had no idea where to start. I was going to go with Pathfinder (Due to it being specifically recommended to me) but the price was a little above my pocket change at the moment. The owner of the shop recommended I go with the D&D Essentials books for now, which I looked through prior to purchasing and they seemed approachable. Plus he said every Wednesday they play and I could come watch and eventually play when I feel comfortable, which appealed to me as well.

I'm a little overwhelmed at the moment, but my eagerness to get started is pushing me through as I try and process all this information. I think once I go check it out on Wednesday I will feel even better about it... xD

I think once I familiarize myself with tabletop games a little better I will probably make more independent choices and take up games that appeal to my interests individually. I just remember half assedly attempting to play the game when I was a freshmen in high school, so I went with the most familiar name along with his suggestions.
And I hope you have not a single still moment.

Not... DnD Fourth Edition... noooooooo! Edition 3/3.5 is acceptable, but 4th is garbage. But I guess it can be used as a gateway drug to bigger and better things. I would have recommended GURPs as a starter. Those books are a bit cheaper and GURPs is a very open system that can fit into any world. Though, not as popular, it is a great starter game.

    Please, don't hesitate to give me as much information and opinion on it as you possibly can! I feel like a lost and sheltered virgin who is being sent to the inner city to buy condoms and sex toys. I have no idea what I'm looking for, no experience... x_x;

What was your first tabletop gaming experience? Do you have any tips for beginners? What should I be doing right now?! xD

I played Palladium first and for many years before I was introduced to another system. Then I played DnD, Earthdawn, Shadowrun, Big Eyes Small Mouth and many more. There are so many choices out there. The main thing is to go out and find a good group to game with. Play with people you like, a dedicated and entertaining gm who can roll witht he punches, and in a comfy place. All these things add to the enjoyment and atmosphere of the game. If people are afraid to be rediculous, then maybe they've forgotten what they're doing . Drama is cool, but you still need the fun.

If you want to get into it- go out and buy your very own set of dice. Buy ones that are "you". I have bright yellow dice and Libra themed dice- but my special dice (you know, the ones that in my head I think roll better than other dice even though they all roll the same) are speckly orange with gold numbers.

Ah! This is such an exciting experience!

I will most likely keep you updated, and probably ask you a few more questions. So hopefully you won't think of me as too annoying! xD

And Brook, the places I've been too are independently run small shops that usually have one dedicated owner. But like most small businesses, a lot are being closed down due to the current economy...

The only store I can think would be a toy store which sells Warhamer figures and the like or a games store. But I'm not sure they got that kind of stuff though. :/

Yeah... I understood 3.5 for D&D pretty well, but when I was reading the 4 stuff I was like, "This doesn't... Are they serious? Maybe it makes more sense or is more fun when you're actually playing...?" Because, hey - what do I know? I'd never played a tabletop game before.

But now we come to my awesome of the day: Getting your first order of gaming dice. And they threw in freebies too. :x

I now am the owner of 20 d10s in a beautiful marbled garnet red with gold numbering. I actually think they sent me more expensive dice rather than the dice I ordered, because the photo of what I ordered showed the dice as much pinker with white lettering. I can't get the dice to go that pink even by shining a light on them. (But I don't really want "pink" dice anyway. The character's hair is meant to be a garnet color and this is closer than what I thought I was ordering. >_>; )

And I got an email today that another order of gaming dice shipped. \o/ So: Getting a shipping notice.

He wiggles and bounces and moves his legs in tie to the music. Sometimes, he makes his "words" along with it.

I love the diaper dance. We used to have this huge boombox we would put on the floor and I remember my little brother used to do the "diaper dance" next to it all the time. Where he would stand up and bob his butt up and down while sort of headbanging? xD

Awesome: Dance partners that know what they are doing. To be honest, I'd prefer to dance with the old guys in my dance class because the young guys are wishy-washy with limp forms. Though, the teacher's assistant is really cute, a year older than me, and an amazing dancer. I'm not very skilled at dancing, but it's so much fun to dance with him. He likes to mess around, so he throw in several spins that the teacher didn't tell us to do. And, him and a guy I like wore suits to dance class today. They looked very dapper. I actually have more friends in dance than I do in any other class.

Also awesome: Inappropriate conversations with a good friend. Being a freshman in college, I don't really have a lot of good friends here so I kinda keep to myself, but in my dance class is one of my good friends from back home and he walks me back to my dorm after the class (because it's at night and he's a gentleman. Or so he tells me.) And since dance is only once a week, I rarely get to talk to him face to face. But, tonight, for some reason, we ended up talking about porn and masturbation and it was the most fun conversation I've had in the month I've been here.
While I was waiting. . . I ate your lunch.
