    So... I need a mentor

I suppose I should start by saying "Hi."

As it is, I'm new to this site. I've been roleplaying for some years now, but I would love for somebody to show me the ropes for this particular medium because, frankly, I'm pretty darn confused.

Well, what kinds of things are you confused about? Any specific questions?

How the roleplays work, really. What I can expect here and what's expected of me.

Well...not really anything different from usual forum roleplays I think, at least I haven't seen any difference. Really the only difference is the locations system, a few folks have had some trouble getting used to it. It sort of involves splitting up your post and making sure you end and start with where your character is leaving to/coming from.

And if you run into anything that's unclear just ask someone and we'll be happy to explain away any specific questions. ^ ^

Don't forget that the WTF Multiverse is a good place to post around and get the hang of it. :3 You could ask someone to join you in the game and make some posts with you until you feel like you have the hang of it. Alternately, you can just post around on your own if that's better for you. :3
