Been a long time

Hey there- Starry here. I've been roleplaying since I was 12 and neopets was essentially still the entire internet to me. I've been hopping around on various avatar communities looking for something with a good roleplay forum and ended up finding this instead- looks promising to me!
It's been a long time since I've been part of any forum-based rps, but I was looking to get back into it again and this seems like a great place to start. For the past few years I've mostly roleplayed on MMOs and done image-roleplay on places like iscribble and various paintchat-based sites. (which is fun in its own right, but there are some things forum rp does much better I think.)

I'm interested in a pretty broad variety of genres, but I've actually been more interested in contemporary roleplay lately. Other than that, I've had plenty of experience in fantasy, supernatural, and scifi rp.
