Overview

Introduction

It is said that 100 years ago monsters roamed the land.  These twelve monsters each linked to Mother Nature's wrath, sought to smite man and erase humanity from existence.  Just when all seemed lost, a small band of men and women teamed up to seek the High Goddess' help.  Ascending Mount Keich, these individuals were graced with her love, respect, and trust.  They were to become the Guardians of Rathdon and the heroes of humanity.

With their new found powers bestowed upon them, they marched back into the madness.  As the monsters laughed at their meek size and lack of perceived strength, the downfall of the monsters came.  Each of the men and women that sought of the High Goddess were graced with a magical power that would allow them to counter and defeat the monsters.

As the battle tipped in humanity's favor, the monsters pulled out and vanished.  And in that vanishing, the Kingdom of Rathdon celebrated.  Days became months which soon became years.  100 years of peace followed this win for man.

That was until last week....

The monsters returned.  Stronger than ever, the monsters plan to lay waste to the kingdom.  And this time, the monsters don't plan on leaving.  Dubbing these monsters as "Riesen," the people of Rathdon call upon the High Goddess for yet another miracle.  Only, this time, she doesn't bestow powers on those that kneel before her.  No, this time she choose heroes at random to fulfill man's final test.

You, you are one of those heroes.  There are twelve of you in total and you have no idea who or where they are.  All you do know is that when you happen past your new battle buddy, you will feel something.  There will be a strong sensation in your mind and a vision will flicker across your memory.

Hasten in the quest to find your legion of warriors.  Come together and conquer the Riesen.  Save the world.  You are Rathdon's only hope.  You are mankind's only hope....
